To investigate how gender differences between the donor and the recipient affect the effectiveness of antithymocyte globulin (ATG) and pure peripheral blood stem cell (PBSC) hematopoietic stem cell ...transplantation (haplo-HSCT) in the treatment of malignant hematological diseases.
From February 2015 to September 2020, 648 hematological malignancies patients underwent myeloablative condition regimen haplo-HSCT treatment at the Bone Marrow Transplant Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. The median age was 32 (14-62) years, with 363 males (56.0% ) and 285 females (44.0% ) present. 242 cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) (37.3% ) , 293 cases of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (45.2% ) , 56 cases of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) (8.7% ) , 27 cases of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) (4.2% ) , and 30 cases of other hematological malignancies (4.6% ) .

Abstract Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 11.3 fb −1 collected at center-of-mass energies from 4.23 to 4.70 GeV with the BESIII detector, we observe the process e + e ...− → π 0 π 0 ψ 2(3823) for the first time with a statistical significance of 6.0 standard deviations. The ratio of average cross sections for e + e − → π 0 π 0 ψ 2(3823) and π + π − ψ 2(3823) is determined to be R = σ e + e − → π 0 π 0 ψ 2 3823 σ e + e − → π + π − ψ 2 3823 = 0.57 ± 0.14 ± 0.05 $$ \mathcal{R}=\frac{\sigma \left{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\pi}^0{\pi}^0{\psi}_2(3823)\right}{\sigma \left{e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to {\pi}^{+}{\pi}^{-}{\psi}_2(3823)\right}=0.57\pm 0.14\pm 0.05 $$ , which is consistent with expectations from isospin symmetry. Here and below, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The mass of the ψ 2(3823) is measured to be Mψ 2(3823) = 3824.5 ± 2.4 ± 1.0 MeV/c 2. Due to the limited data sample, an upper limit of 18.8 MeV at 90% confidence level is set on the intrinsic width of ψ 2(3823).
The skin permeation of estradiol from various proniosome gel formulations across excised rat skin was investigated in vitro. The encapsulation efficiency and size of niosomal vesicles formed from ...proniosomes upon hydration were also characterized. The encapsulation (%) of proniosomes with Span surfactants showed a very high value of ≒100%. Proniosomes with Span 40 and Span 60 increased the permeation of estradiol across skin. Both penetration enhancer effect of non-ionic surfactant and vesicle-skin interaction may contribute to the mechanisms for proniosomes to enhance estradiol permeation. Niosome suspension (diluted proniosomal formulations) and proniosome gel showed different behavior in modulating transdermal delivery of estradiol across skin. Presence or absence of cholesterol in the lipid bilayers of vesicles did not reveal difference in encapsulation and permeation of the associated estradiol. The types and contents of non-ionic surfactant in proniosomes are important factors affecting the efficiency of transdermal estradiol delivery.

Abstract Using e + e − collision datasets corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 21.7 fb −1 collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider at center-of-mass energies ranging ...from 4.009 GeV to 4.951 GeV, the energy-dependent cross sections of e + e − → p K − Λ ¯ + c . c . $$ {e}^{+}{e}^{-}\to p{K}^{-}\overline{\Lambda}+c.c. $$ are measured for the first time. By fitting these energy-dependent cross sections, we search for the excited ψ states ψ(4160) and ψ(4415), and the vector charmonium-like states ψ(4230), ψ(4360), and ψ(4660). No evidence for these is observed and the upper limits on the branching fractions of these states decaying into p K − Λ ¯ + c . c . $$ p{K}^{-}\overline{\Lambda}+c.c. $$ are set at the 90% confidence level.
Poly-γ-glutamic acid(γ-PGA) is a water-soluble polyamino acid produced by microbial fermentation, which can be used as plant growth regulator and has great agricultural application prospects. To ...determine the effect of γ-PGA application on the metabolic substances in flue-cured tobacco leaves, the samples of tobacco leaves with and without γ-PGA application were collected, and the non-targeted metabolomics analysis was performed using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). Compared with the control, 14 metabolites with substantial differences were detected in flue-cured tobacco leaves after γ-PGA application. Eight metabolites, mainly classified as organoheterocyclic compounds, were up-regulated and 6 metabolites, mainly classified as organic oxygenates, were down-regulated. The differential metabolites were enriched in multiple metabolic pathways, such as the biosynthesis of amino acids, mineral absorption, protein digestion and absorption, and carbon metabolism. The main enriched differential metabolites were proline, tryptophan, 3-Methyl-2-oxobutanoic acid, fumaric acid, and d-glucose. Therefore, γ-PGA application can affect the accumulation and transformation of carbon and nitrogen compounds in tobacco leaves, and regulate the process of carbon and nitrogen metabolism in tobacco leaf growth.

This survey employs the multilevel growth curve model to demonstrate how to promote the development of the company’s environmental innovation in agricultural companies specializing in the ...agricultural production and export of agricultural products to achieve sustainable production through environmental social responsibility and environmental engagement according to the engagement theory. The empirical data are collected 30 chief executive officers and their 90 supervisors of top management teams (TMTs) of Taiwanese agricultural companies in 2 months. The empirical results demonstrate that environmental social responsibility significantly influences the top management teams’ environmental engagement development, which in turn significantly influences the agricultural company’s environmental innovation. These empirical results can not only promote the sustainable production literature in the agricultural field but also help these agricultural companies implement environmental innovation to realize sustainable production of agricultural exports.
In order to identify the different pitting states, some pattern recognition (PR) procedures, including principal component analysis (PCA), hierarchical agglomerative cluster analysis (HACA) and ...linear discriminant analysis (LDA), were applied for analyzing electrochemical noise (EN) statistical parameters from a typical pitting system of Q235 carbon steels in NaHCO
3
+
NaCl solutions. Firstly, according to the PCA results, the EN mean value (
E
¯
and
I
¯
) and standard deviation (
σ
E
and
σ
I
) were determined as the descriptors for clustering. Then, using the selected four statistical parameters as variables, the cases from different pitting states were classified by the HACA to three clusters, which relates to the metastable state, intermediate state and stable state, respectively. It shows a good agreement with the classification obtained from
k-means cluster with
E and log|
I| as variables. Based on the cluster results, the pitting states of the ungrouped data points from the similar pitting processes also can be distinguished according to the established discriminant function(s).
