Programming is established for three inputs and one output and the experimental results refer to generating the value of the acceptable temperature value for the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) processed material, better known as teflon.
Fuzzy logic controller adaptation based on Mamdani rules in this paper is supposed to regulate the number of revolutions of the main CNC machine spindle so that the workpiece temperature could be kept below 100 °C without using a coolant to avoid chemical reactions between the coolant and the base material.
The input parameters for the fuzzy controller are the temperature of the machined material, feed speed and depth of cut and the output is the number of revolutions of the main spindle. Acceptable temperature of the workpiece ranges between ∼20 °C and 100 °C, of the feed speed between 0,05 and 0,089 mm/rev and of depth of cut between 1 and 5 mm.

The subject of research in this paper is the concept of organizational learning and the impact it has on improving the quality of business of small and medium enterprises. The aim of the research is ...to determine how organizational learning should be improved in order for it to give the best possible results in company business operations. The results of the research showed that the efficiency of organizational learning is built on a motivated workforce and team cooperation. Variables of organizational learning have shown the greatest impact on innovative activities and continuous improvements as factors in improving the quality of business. The paper presents a decision-making model with an artificial neural network approach for continuous improvement of the quality of business of small and medium enterprises through the application of the concept of organizational learning. The presented research results can be used as guidelines to owners and managers of small and medium enterprises, indicating the right direction if the aim is to improve the quality of business on the basis of organizational culture that supports the creation and exchange of knowledge.

The research presented in this paper is aimed at determination of the impact of quality on improving business performance and customer satisfaction. Correlation analysis confirmed this influence on the basis of obtained statistically significant mutual relations between the analyzed variables. Quality was shown to have an impact on improving the business performance of the organization, primarily on profitability through the improvement of leadership and relationship management. The impact of quality on customer satisfaction was also confirmed, where the engagement of people and the management of mutual relations had the greatest impact on consumer confidence. The research confirmed that the training of employees in terms of quality had a statistically significant impact on improving customer satisfaction, if it is conducted in an efficient manner.
The paper presents a procedure for determining the optimal amount of thermal energy for the profitable operation of a biogas plant. The temperature at which anaerobic fermentation takes place ...shortens the time of fermentation and biogas production, but also the provision of higher temperatures requires a certain amount of thermal energy, whose consumption reduces the energy effects of the biogas production system. In this paper the results of the average outdoor temperature and the temperature of inlet mass in fermenter are shown by months, the thermal energy is calculated so as the heat losses of primary and secondary fermenter, and the total required thermal energy to heat the fermenter by months is determined. The required thermal energy for heating the fermenter is presented in percentages, on average 16 % in relation to the total produced thermal energy. Careful analysis determined that the temperature for most profitable anaerobic fermentation process (mesophilic temperature is 40.5 °C), so that the fermentation rate would be optimal with the use of minimum amount of thermal energy to heat the fermenter.
In this paper the analysis and description of the operation of the Premix station for dosing the substrate into existing digesters whose location is in the system of the device for processing of ...liquid waste are described. Apart from the capacity and other entry parameters, the necessary diameter of the pipeline with the length of the section for supplying the devices of the PreMix system is calculated, as it is given in the appropriate tables, the connection of the existing equipment and digesters is presented. The appropriate dependence of the volume flow, the velocity of circulation and power at constant pressure as well as the dependence of the volume flow, pressure and power at constant velocity of circulation are presented by diagrams.
The SME sector plays an important role in a country's economic growth and development. In order for these companies to develop successfully, the support of the state is necessary, but certainly their ...own efforts invested in improving knowledge and innovative solutions. The presented research aimed at determining the impact of quality improvement on the innovative performance of small and medium enterprises. The research included a sample of 295 small and medium enterprises that have implemented the ISO 9000 standard in their operations. Correlation analysis determined that there are statistically significant relationships between the variables of quality improvement and the variables of innovative action. The regression model showed that the greatest individual contribution to the achievement of innovative action was made by the variables management of mutual relations, decision-making based on facts and continuous improvement. Improving quality and developing innovation should enable the SME sector to build its competitive advantage in the market.
This paper points out the importance of assessing the cultural, historical and ecosystem values of protected areas using the protected areas benefit assessment tool (PA-BAT). This method has so far ...been applied in seven Dinaric Arc countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia) in south-eastern Europe, as well as other countries in the world (Colombia, Turkey, Myanmar, USA and Ethiopia), with the aim of helping to gather information on the values and benefits of individual protected areas in relation to ecosystem services, using a participatory approach. Using the case study of Djerdap National Park (in the Republic of Serbia), the results of applying the PA-BAT method are given, that is, the results of assessing 22 ecosystem values with special reference to cultural and historical values as one of the ecosystem services of this protected area, as well as the results of previously conducted assessments of the ecosystem values of this area. The aim of this paper is to contribute to a better understanding and promotion of applying the concept of ecosystem services in the preservation of cultural, historical and ecosystem values by applying PA-BAT evaluation methods.
The paper explains the importance and role of spatial planning in the context
of the preservation and sustainable use of ecological networks. The concept
of ecological networks is presented in terms ...of its main goals, structure,
functions and approaches to biodiversity conservation. The paper gives an
overview of ecological network development in Serbia, but also an overview of
the activities carried out in establishing the NATURA 2000 European
ecological network. Possibilities for improving the spatial planning process
in light of the functional development of ecological networks in Serbia are
indicated through an analysis of the requirements arising from the policies
relevant for spatial planning and the development of ecological networks
using the example of drawn up spatial plans.
The paper indicates the importance of spatial planning as a specific
instrument for the protection and management of World Heritage sites in
Serbia. The paper analyses the obligations set forth in ...the international and
national documents and legislation relevant for spatial planning, on the one
hand, and World Heritage protection, on the other hand. The notion, criteria,
method of zoning, systems and approaches to the management of sites inscribed
on the World Heritage List are shown through the concept of World Heritage.
The paper also emphasizes the importance of adopting management plans for all
World Heritage sites and their incorporation into the national legislation
and planning documents, primarily into the special purpose area spatial
plans. It also gives examples of special purpose spatial plans in order to
consider the treatment of World Heritage in these documents, and to make
proposals for improving the spatial planning and the existing protection and
management of the World Heritage sites in Serbia.
The paper points to the significance of synergy and linking of natural and cultural heritage with the dominant spiritual component of the area, which is recognized in several international documents ...it is working on. Through the analysis of good practice from neighboring countries (Bulgaria, Greece and Italy), as well as examples of similar characteristics in Serbia (Biosphere Reserve Golija-Studenica), and it points to the opportunities for improvement in this area.
