in. silicon wafers. Scanning SQUID microscopy and magneto-optical Kerr effect measurements were used to map the remnant magnetization and the hysteresis loops of the spreads of magnetic materials quenched at high temperatures. The combination of these techniques can be used to obtain comprehensive information on the magnetic properties of various metallic-alloy systems.

The suit was seeking payment for funeral costs. "The Sheriff's Department is sad for the Jones family's loss of their son, yet it was Chad Jones' actions that forced the officers to take appropriate action," Cowan said.
