The epidemic of COVID-19 is a public health emergency of international concern. China cities have taken many measures to control the outbreak, which are timely and effective, but the problem and ...weaknesses in the urban planning stage have emerged. At the urban level, a comprehensive disaster prevention planning for the dual situations of normality and epidemic should be concerned. At the community level, the necessary improved facilities, the reasonable form, optimized spatial structure can support to construct a resilient community. At the architectural level, it is necessary to conceive the variation of residential buildings and the flexibility of living space to respond to the changes in daily lives in the Post-epidemic Era.
For the advancement of high‐energy asymmetric supercapacitors, the breakthrough point is matching charge storage capacity and balanced electrode kinetics between the positive and negative electrodes. ...Herein, Mn3O4 nanosheets composed of nanoparticles are anchored on activated carbon cloth (ACC) as the positive electrode by electrodeposition. FeOOH nanoparticles derived from NaFe3(SO4)2(OH)6 truncated cubes serve as the negative electrode. Due to the unique sheet‐like network structure, ultrahigh mass‐loading (73.3 mg cm−2), and enhanced kinetics, the Mn3O4@ACC electrode exhibits an ultrahigh specific capacitance of 12.77 F cm−2. Besides, the FeOOH@ACC electrode with a low‐crystalline structure also exhibits a maximum specific capacitance of 17.84 F cm−2. The Na+ diffusion process, the charge storage mechanism, and the electrochemical reaction kinetics of the Mn3O4@ACC are investigated by ex situ characterization. Theoretical calculations show that Mn3O4 has metallic electronic conductivity and reveal the adsorption and diffusion mechanism of Na ions during the electrode process. The assembled aqueous Mn3O4//FeOOH asymmetric supercapacitor device successfully extends the operating voltage to 2.2 V and exhibits a high energy density of 3.75 mWh cm−2 and ultra‐long cycle life (81.6% capacity retention after 26,000 cycles). Therefore, this study provides a feasible pathway for the further development of asymmetric supercapacitors with high energy density.

The commercialization of Li–S batteries has been seriously hampered by the infamous “shuttle effect” of soluble lithium polysulfide intermediates (LiPSs, Li2Sx, 4 ≤ x ≤ 8) and sluggish sulfur species ...conversion kinetics. In this work, vinyl ferrocene and styrene were copolymerized onto a polypropylene (PP) separator to prevent LiPS shuttling based on the electrostatic and orbital interactions between ferrocene and LiPSs, which increased the reactivity of LiPSs. Therefore, the “shuttle effect” can be successfully suppressed by a separator that combines thermodynamic anchoring and kinetic acceleration for LiPSs.

Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignancies worldwide, but its molecular mechanisms remain unclear. Increasing evidence indicates that long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) play a pivotal ...role in various cancers recently. Our present study focused on exploring the function of long intergenic non-coding RNA 00473 (LINC00473) in GC. In this study, we found that LINC00473 expression was aberrantly increased in tumor tissues compared with the paired para-cancerous tissues. The expression of high LINC00473 in GC was notably correlated with a higher risk of lymphatic metastasis, a higher incidence of vascular cancer embolus, and advanced TNM stage. Further experiments showed that the overexpression of LINC00473 could promote the proliferation and metastasis of GC cells both in vitro and in vivo. The apoptosis of GC cells increased significantly by the decrease of LINC00473. Mechanistically, LINC00473 could sponge miR-16-5p in the cytoplasm and relieve its suppression of CCND2. Moreover, AQP3 was found to be a significant downstream target gene for LINC00473 through RNA transcriptome sequencing, as demonstrated by qRT-PCR and western blot. Overexpression of LINC00473 can partially reverse the effects of AQP3 decrease on GC proliferation and metastasis. LINC00473 regulated AQP3 expression through CREB was confirmed by western blot. Our research indicates that LINC00473/miR-16-5p/CCND2 axis plays a role in the proliferation of GC and modulates AQP3 to influence GC cell metastasis, making it a potential therapeutic target for GC.
Abstract Apparently, understanding airway management status may help to reduce risk and improve clinical practice. Given these facts, our team conducted a second survey on the current status of ...airway management for mainland China following our 2016 national airway survey. The national survey was conducted from November 7 to November 28, 2022. An electronic survey was sent to the New Youth Anesthesia Forum, where Chinese anesthesiologists completed the questionnaire via WeChat. A total of 3783 respondents completed the survey, with a response rate of 72.14%. So far, in 2022, 34.84% of anesthesiologists canceled or delayed surgery at least once due to difficult airway. For the anticipated difficult airway management, 66.11% of physicians would choose awake intubation under sedation and topical anesthesia, while the percentage seeking help has decreased compared to the 2016 survey. When encountering an emergency, 74.20% of respondents prefer to use the needle cricothyrotomy, albeit less than a quarter have actually performed it. Anesthesiologists with difficult airway training experience reached 72.96%, with a significant difference in participation between participants in Tier 3 hospitals and those in other levels of hospitals ( P < 0.001). The videolaryngoscope, laryngeal mask, and flexible intubation scope were equipped at 97.18%, 95.96%, and 62.89%, respectively. Additionally, the percentage of brain damage or death caused by difficult airways was significantly decreased. The study may be the best reference for understanding the current status of airway management in China, revealing the current advancements and deficiencies. The future focus of airway management remains on training and education.

Background
Previous evidences have been proved that age, N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), and ejection fraction are tightly associated with the long-term outcomes in patients ...suffered from coronary artery disease (CAD). Therefore, the present study aimed to assess the prognosis value of age, NT-proBNP, and ejection fraction (ABEF) score in CAD patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
Methods
Observational cohort methodology was used in this study which enrolled totally 3561 patients. And the patients were followed up regularly for 37.59 ± 22.24 months. Patients were classed into three groups based on the tertiles of ABEF sore: first tertile (<5.06, n = 831), second tertile (5.06-6.25, n = 839), and third tertile (≥ 6.25, n = 834). The ABEF score was calculated as follows: age (years)/ejection fraction (%) + NT-proBNP (NT-proBNP<177pg/mL was 1, 177≤NT-proBNP≥524pg/mL was 2 and NT-proBNP > 524pg/mL is 3). The association between ABEF score and adverse prognosis, including all-cause death (ACD), cardiac death (CD), major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) and major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCEs), in patients who underwent PCI was analyzed.
Results
According to the risk category of ABEF score, the incidences of ACD (P < .001), CD (P < .001) and MACCEs (P = .021) among the three groups showed significant differences. Multivariate Cox regression analysis suggested that the respective risks of ACD and CD were increased 3.013 folds (hazard risk HR = 4.013 95% confidence interval CI: 1.922-8.378, P < .001) and 4.922 folds (HR = 5.922 95% CI: 2.253-15.566, P < .001) in the third tertile compared with those in the first tertile. Kaplan-Meier survival analyses showed that the cumulative risks of ACD,CD and MACCEs in patients with the high ABEF score tended to increase.
Conclusion
The present study indicated ABEF score was a novel biomarker suitable for predicting adverse prognosis in patients after PCI, which may be used for early recognition and risk stratification.
The surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based optical fiber tip sensor is more convenient for the chemical or biological sensing since it occupies less space than the SPR-based optical fiber sensor using ...the transmitted spectrum as the sensing signal. In this work, a detail theoretical analysis for the SPR-based optical fiber tip sensor has been finished. First, the effects of the geometric parameters on the reflecting spectrum, resonance wavelength and sensitivity have been investigated. Then, a dispersion function-based explanation for the relationship between resonance wavelength and tip angle has been presented. It can be seen that the increase of tip angle may lead to the increase of resonance wavelength and the broadening of resonance dip because the incident angle of the ray at the tip interface changes in a greater region.

•H2 fermentation process of C. tyrobutyricum was optimized systematically.•The effect of endogenous hydrogenases overexpression on H2 production was studied.•Introducing sucrose ...metabolic pathway realized H2 production from sugarcane molasses.•The highest H2 production achieved 1098.4 mL with a yield of 248.2 mL/g sugar.
Clostridia is the dominant microorganism in dark-fermentative biohydrogen production, but there have been relatively few studies on hydrogen production by Clostridium tyrobutyricum using cheap biomass. In this study, the important process parameters for hydrogen fermentation, such as substrate concentration, pH and temperature, were optimized systematically. Then, the effect of endogenous hydrogenases overexpression on hydrogen production was studied. To achieve economical hydrogen production from cheap substrate sugarcane molasses, the sucrose metabolic pathway was further introduced into C. tyrobutyricum. As a result, the engineered C. tyrobutyricum produced 1098.4 mL hydrogen with a yield of 248.2 mL/g sugar and productivity of 199.6 mL/L/h under the optimum fermentation conditions, which is the highest hydrogen production (910.37 mmol/L) reported so far using molasses. This study demonstrates that C. tyrobutyricum is a promising cell factory for hydrogen production from cheap and renewable biomass resources.
