With the miniaturization and high-frequency requirements of quartz crystal sensors, microscopic issues affecting operating performance, e.g., the surface roughness, are receiving more and more ...attention. In this study, the activity dip caused by surface roughness is revealed, with the physical mechanism clearly demonstrated. Firstly, the surface roughness is considered as a Gaussian distribution, and the mode coupling properties of an AT-cut quartz crystal plate are systematically investigated under different temperature environments with the aid of two-dimensional thermal field equations. The resonant frequency, frequency-temperature curves, and mode shapes of the quartz crystal plate are obtained through the partial differential equation (PDE) module of COMSOL Multiphysics software for free vibration analysis. For forced vibration analysis, the admittance response and phase response curves of quartz crystal plate are calculated via the piezoelectric module. The results from both free and forced vibration analyses demonstrate that surface roughness reduces the resonant frequency of quartz crystal plate. Additionally, mode coupling is more likely to occur in a crystal plate with a surface roughness, leading to activity dip when temperature varies, which decreases the stability of quartz crystal sensors and should be avoided in device fabrication.

The foreign trade of China has rapidly increased since it acceded to the World Trade Organization. Simultaneously, the environmental pollution problem of China has become increasingly prominent, ...thereby seriously restricting the sustainable development of its economy. Based on enterprise-level multivariate heterogeneous data in China, this study explores the influence and mechanism of enterprise export behavior on pollution emissions from a micro perspective. Findings show that pollution emissions increase with enterprise export intensity. The robustness and endogeneity analyses support the cited conclusions. Influence mechanism analysis shows that exports of enterprises may increase pollution emissions by raising energy consumption and export product categories and decrease pollution emissions by promoting green productivity. In addition, expansion analysis found that the influence of export behavior on pollution emissions is heterogeneous owing to trade characteristics. This study deconstructs the influence of China’s foreign trade on domestic environmental pollution from a micro perspective. Moreover, this study provides an objective basis that the relevant Chinese government departments can optimize the structure and improve the quality of foreign trade and achieve coordinated development between foreign trade and environmental protection.

Abstract Based on all 2 minute cadence TESS light curves from Sector 1 to 60, we provide a catalog of 8651 solar-like oscillators, including frequency at maximum power ( ν max , with its median ...precision σ = 5.39%), large frequency separation (Δ ν , σ = 6.22%), and seismically derived masses, radii, and surface gravity values. In this sample, we have detected 2173 new oscillators and added 4373 new Δ ν measurements. Our seismic parameters are consistent with those from Kepler, K2, and previous TESS data. The median fractional residual in ν max is 1.63%, with a scatter of 14.75%, and in Δ ν it is 0.11%, with a scatter of 10.76%. We have detected 476 solar-like oscillators with ν max exceeding the Nyquist frequency of Kepler long-cadence data during the evolutionary phases of subgiants and the base of the red giant branch, which provide a valuable resource for understanding angular momentum transport.
Purpose
Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS) is characterized by the aggravation of upper airway constriction or obstruction, and it is associated with high incidence of various ...metabolic diseases and high mortality. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) is now recommended as the first-line therapy for OSAHS, but its application is limited by its unsatisfactory patient tolerance. Previous studies have showed that high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) may improve symptoms in some patients with OSAHS. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of HFNC on OSAHS in a larger cohort than in previous research and to study the details of its therapeutic characteristics.
Methods
Polysomnography recording with and without HFNC was performed in 56 OSAHS patients with a wide spectrum of disease severity. Subgroups were divided by different treatment response criteria to identify the effect of this device.
Results
Of 56 patients enrolled, 9 were of mild severity (AHI, 5 to <15 events/h), 30 were of moderate severity (AHI, 15 to <30 events/h), and 17 patients were severe (AHI ≥ 30 events/h); 34 patients were younger than 50 years old and 22 patients were older than 50 years old. Previous studies have reported the therapeutic effects of oleuropein (OP) consumption on the early stage of type 2 diabetes. However, the efficacy of OP on the advanced stage of type 2 diabetes has ...not been investigated, and the relationship between OP and intestinal flora has not been studied. Therefore, in this study, to explore the relieving effects of OP intake on the advanced stage of type 2 diabetes and the regulatory effects of OP on intestinal microbes, diabetic db/db mice (17-week-old) were treated with OP at the dose of 200 mg/kg for 15 weeks. We found that OP has a significant effect in decreasing fasting blood glucose levels, improving glucose tolerance, lowering the homeostasis model assessment–insulin resistance index, restoring histopathological features of tissues, and promoting hepatic protein kinase B activation in db/db mice. Notably, OP modulates gut microbiota at phylum level, increases the relative abundance of Verrucomicrobia and Deferribacteres, and decreases the relative abundance of Bacteroidetes. OP treatment increases the relative abundance of Akkermansia, as well as decreases the relative abundance of Prevotella, Odoribacter, Ruminococcus, and Parabacteroides at genus level. In conclusion, OP may ameliorate the advanced stage of type 2 diabetes through modulating the composition and function of gut microbiota. Our findings provide a promising therapeutic approach for the treatment of advanced stage type 2 diabetes.
The field boundaries in our country are complex. In attempts to control pests via trichogramma-dominated biological control, the long-term practice of manual trichogramma release has resulted in low ...control efficiency, thereby impeding sustainable agricultural development. Currently, the novel approach involves utilizing Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) for trichogramma balls delivery; however, the system is still in its nascent stages, presenting opportunities for enhancement in terms of stability and accuracy. Furthermore, there is a notable absence of comprehensive operational quality assessment standards. In this study, we establish a stable and accurate trichogramma balls delivery system using a four-axis plant protection UAV and introduce a comprehensive evaluation method for trichogramma balls delivery system. When dealing with fields with complex boundaries, it is beneficial to divide them into rectangular, trapezoidal, and stepped small fields at the boundary and perform operations within these small fields. According to our proposed evaluation method, when only considering the effect of field operations, the most effective boundary division shape is trapezoidal, followed by rectangular. and the worst is stepped. If both field operation effectiveness and the utilization effect of placed trichogramma balls are considered, the optimal shape is trapezoidal, then stepped, with rectangular being the least effective. Consequently, for UAV sub-area operations in complex boundary fields, it is advisable to divide the boundaries into trapezoids wherever possible. Field experiment results indicate that the system's delivery area can reach up to 4158 m²/min and the coverage rate of released trichogramma balls can exceed 97%. The system design methodology and comprehensive operational quality evaluation method proposed in this article provide technical support and scientific basis for the application and promotion of UAV delivery trichogramma balls system. This is conducive to the high-quality development of agriculture.
In the course of screening lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced nitric oxide (NO) production inhibitors, two related benzodiazepine derivatives, cyclopenol and cyclopenin, were isolated from the extract ...of a deep marine-derived fungal strain, Aspergillus sp. SCSIOW2. Cyclopenol and cyclopenin inhibited the LPS-induced formation of NO and secretion of IL-6 in RAW264.7 cells at nontoxic concentrations. In terms of the mechanism underlying these effects, cyclopenol and cyclopenin were found to inhibit the upstream signal of NF-κB activation. These compounds also inhibited the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in mouse microglia cells, macrophages in the brain. In relation to the cause of Alzheimer's disease, amyloid-β-peptide is known to induce inflammation in the brain. Therefore, the present study investigated the ameliorative effects of these inhibitors on an in vivo Alzheimer's model using flies. Learning deficits were induced by the overexpression of amyloid-β42 in flies, and cyclopenin but not cyclopenol was found to rescue learning impairment. Therefore, novel anti-inflammatory activities of cyclopenin were identified, which may be useful as a candidate of anti-inflammatory agents for neurodegenerative diseases.

Abstract Existing research has focused mainly on the technological effects of rigid constraints such as low-carbon policies, but there has been little exploration of flexible constraints such as the ...government’s low-carbon concerns. To explore the role of flexible low-carbon constraints and effective paths for achieving low-carbon development, this paper theoretically and empirically investigates the influence of the government’s low-carbon concerns on local firms’ innovation in renewable energy technology and the underlying mechanism. Benchmark analysis shows that the government’s low-carbon concerns can improve renewable energy technology among firms in an area. Mechanism analysis reveals that low-carbon concerns promote firms’ renewable energy technology adoption by increasing the amount of research and development (R&D) investment and government subsidies and energy use costs of firms in the area. Heterogeneity analysis reveals that heterogeneity exists across technologies, firms, industries and locations in terms of the incentive impact of the government’s low-carbon concerns on the level of renewable energy technology innovation. Extensive analysis indicates that the government’s low-carbon concerns have a long-term incentive impact on the renewable energy technology of local firms and a positive demonstration impact on the renewable energy technology of neighboring firms. This study is helpful in that it explores the major driving factors behind the creation of a low-carbon economy and the achievement of climate targets.

species, which explained 48.40, 82.80, 48.73, and 59.64% of the variance for the dominant and key bacterial or fungal communities, respectively. Data showed that differential root exudates were the main drivers of the changes in the rhizosphere microbial communities.

microbial rhizosphere. The differential root exudates had strong impact on key bacteria than dominant bacteria, key fungi, and dominant fungi. The assembly process of the community structure (keystone taxa and bacterial dominant taxa) was mostly determined by stochastic processes.
