Abstract
We searched for shocked carbon chain chemistry (SCCC) sources with C
3
S abundances surpassing those of HC
5
N toward the dark cloud L1251, using the Effelsberg telescope at the
K
band ...(18–26 GHz). L1251-1 and L1251-3 are identified as the most promising SCCC sources. The two sources harbor young stellar objects. We conducted mapping observations toward L1251-A, the western tail of L1251, at
λ
∼ 3 mm with the Purple Mountain Observatory 13.7 m and the Nobeyama Radio Observatory 45 m telescopes in lines of C
2
H, N
2
H
+
, CS, HCO
+
, SO, HC
3
N, and C
18
O as well as in CO 3–2 using the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT). The spectral data were combined with archival data including Spitzer and Herschel continuum maps for further analysis. Filamentary substructures labeled as F1–F6 were extracted in L1251, with F1 being associated with L1251-A hosting L1251-1. The peak positions of dense gas traced by HCO
+
are misaligned relative to those of the dust clumps. Episodic outflows are common in this region. The twisted morphology of F1 and velocity distribution along L1251-A may originate from stellar feedback. SCCC in L1251-1 may have been caused by outflow activities originated from the infrared source IRS1. The signposts of ongoing SCCC and the broadened line widths of C
3
S and C
4
H in L1251-1 as well as the distribution of HC
3
N are also related to outflow activities in this region. L1251-1 (IRS1) together with the previously identified SCCC source IRS3 demonstrate that L1251-A is an excellent region to study SCCC.
Heavy plastic deformation may refine grains of metals and make them very strong. But the strain-induced refinement saturates at large strains, forming three-dimensional ultrafine-grained (3D UFG) ...structures with random orientations. Further refinement of this microstructure is limited because of the enhanced mobility of grain boundaries. Very-high-rate shear deformation with high strain gradients was applied in the top surface layer of bulk nickel, where a 2D nanometer-scale laminated structure was induced. The strongly textured nanotaminated structure (average lamellar thickness of 20 nanometers) with low-angle boundaries among the lamellae is ultrahard and ultrastable: It exhibits a hardness of 6.4 gigapascal—which is higher than any reported hardness of the UFG nickel—and a coarsening temperature of 40 kelvin above that in UFG nickel

The process e+e- → Λ Λ ¯ is studied using data samples at √s = 2.2324, 2.400, 2.800 and 3.080 GeV collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider. The Born cross section is ...measured at √s=2.2324 GeV, which is 1.0 MeV above the Λ Λ ¯ mass threshold, to be 305±$45_{-36}^{+66}$ pb, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The substantial cross section near threshold is significantly larger than that expected from theory, which predicts the cross section to vanish at threshold. The Born cross sections at √s=2.400, 2.800 and 3.080 GeV are measured and found to be consistent with previous experimental results, but with improved precision. Finally, the corresponding effective electromagnetic form factors of Λ are deduced.

The stacking fault energy (SFE) values of several typical face-centered-cubic (fcc) high-entropy alloys (HEAs) were experimentally measured by weak-beam dark-field transmission electron microscopy. ...It was found that the SFE of the Fe-Co-Ni-Cr-Mn HEA system strongly depends on the SFE of the individual constituents. Specifically, the SFE of this HEA system is closely associated with the Ni concentration in the alloys. Additionally, the lower SFE tends to promote formation of more deformation twins with a smaller thickness under loading, leading to better mechanical properties, especially at low temperatures.
•SFE of six Fe-Co-Ni-Cr-Mn HEAs was measured experimentally.•Constituents play an important role in the SFE, particularly the Ni content.•Lower SFE promotes formation of thinner twins during loading and better properties.

Huanglongbing (HLB) causes extensive damage in citrus orchards worldwide. Symptoms include blotchy mottle leaf (BML) and little leaf chlorosis (LLC), and nutrient deficiency usually occurs ...concurrently. However, the relationship between plant mineral content and infection with Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus (CLas) is not clearly established.
We sampled 7‐month‐old autumn shoots with three characteristic phenotypes, asymptomatic leaf (AL), BML and LLC, representing HLB disease progression, and further divided samples into CLas‐infected and uninfected based on PCR analysis.
HLB infection decreased transfer coefficients of Mg and K from leaf to phloem tissues through regulation of the transporter genes Cs3g03790.1 and PtrMGT5, increasing the content of leaf Mg and K. HLB infection also decreased leaf Zn, xylem Ca and phloem Ca and Zn content. Leaf Ca, Mg, Zn and B content decreased while leaf K content increased significantly as symptoms progressed from AL to LLC. The transport of P from leaf to phloem tissue, as evaluated by the transfer coefficient, was regulated by the transporter CsiPT2, resulting in irregular levels of leaf P.
Our results provide insights into the nutrient dynamics in Citrus in response to CLas infection and the progression of HLB symptoms.
The levels and distribution of various nutrients, like Phosphorus, Manganese, and Boron, varied with symptom emergence and later progression, while the contents and distribution of other nutrients, like Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, and Zinc, were affected by both symptom development and the presence of the HLB pathogen.

An 8‐week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate the effects of fish meal (FM) replacement by rice protein concentrate (RPC) with supplementation of microcapsule lysine (ML) or crystalline lysine ...(CL) on growth performance, muscle development and flesh quality of blunt snout bream. Four isonitrogenous and isoenergetic diets were formulated, including FM diet (containing 50 g/kg FM), RPC diet (FM replaced by RPC), MRPC diet (FM replaced by RPC with ML supplementation) and CRPC diet (FM replaced by RPC with CL supplementation). Fish fed FM diet had significantly higher weight gain, feed efficiency, protein efficiency ratio and nitrogen and energy utilization than that of RPC group, but showed no statistical difference with other treatments. In addition, fish fed RPC diet showed higher muscle fibre frequency in the 20‐ to 50‐μm class but lower >50‐μm class and higher cooking loss than that of the other groups. Furthermore, no significant difference was found in whole‐body proximate compositions, frequency distribution of <20‐μm‐diameter fibres, texture, muscle content, collagen, pH 24 hr post‐mortem and sensory quality. The results showed that RPC supplemented with ML or CL could replace fishmeal without any adverse effects on growth performance and flesh quality for blunt snout bream.

The cross section for the process e^{+}e^{-}→π^{+}π^{-}J/ψ is measured precisely at center-of-mass energies from 3.77 to 4.60 GeV using 9 fb^{-1} of data collected with the BESIII detector operating ...at the BEPCII storage ring. Two resonant structures are observed in a fit to the cross section. The first resonance has a mass of (4222.0±3.1±1.4) MeV/c^{2} and a width of (44.1±4.3±2.0) MeV, while the second one has a mass of (4320.0±10.4±7.0) MeV/c^{2} and a width of (101.4_{-19.7}^{+25.3}±10.2) MeV, where the first errors are statistical and second ones are systematic. The first resonance agrees with the Y(4260) resonance reported by previous experiments. The precision of its resonant parameters is improved significantly. The second resonance is observed in e^{+}e^{-}→π^{+}π^{-}J/ψ for the first time. The statistical significance of this resonance is estimated to be larger than 7.6σ. The mass and width of the second resonance agree with the Y(4360) resonance reported by the BABAR and Belle experiments within errors. Finally, the Y(4008) resonance previously observed by the Belle experiment is not confirmed in the description of the BESIII data.
