The differentiation potential of individual clones of fibroblast CFU (CFU-F) was studied and the relative expression level of genes was analyzed in the culture of CFU-F from the bone marrow in ...patients with non-severe and severe forms of aplastic anemia at the onset of the disease. The differentiation potential of CFU-F clones was determined by the relative expression of marker genes using quantitative PCR. In aplastic anemia, the ratio of CFU-F clones with different differentiation potential changes, but the molecular mechanisms of this phenomenon are different in non-severe and severe aplastic anemia. In the culture of CFU-F in non-severe and severe aplastic anemia, the relative expression level of genes associated with the maintenance of the hematopoietic stem cell in the bone marrow niche changes, but the decrease in the expression of immunoregulatory genes occurs in severe form only, which may reflect differences in the pathogenesis of non-severe and severe aplastic anemia.

The properties of bone marrow-derived multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC) of patients with aplastic anemia at the onset of the disease are studied insufficiently. In this work, the results of the irradiation of untreated, preliminarily Ar+-bombarded and Cr-coated samples of zirconium alloy E110 (Zr-1%Nb) with deuterium atoms and ions of deuterium plasma were ...compared with the results of their exposure to superheated water steam (673 K, 11 MPa; 673 K, 0.1 MPa; 633 K, 0.1 MPa). It was concluded that, despite of the difference in the rates of the oxide layer formation, the features of hydrogenation are similar under the two kinds of impact. However, the hydrogen uptake under irradiation occurs hundreds of times faster than during the steam test. The most effective hydrogenation was achieved under irradiation of the E110 sample with 300–500 eV/at ions of deuterium plasma without oxygen. These circumstances allow suggesting the irradiation with ions of hydrogen plasma as an accelerated hydrogenation test of zirconium alloys and protective coatings under conditions simulating the environment of light-water reactor's core. The proposed method could be realized using a simple plasma device and it does not require high power consumption or special qualification of staff.

Treatment programs for patients with acquired aplastic anemia include two main therapeutic options: allogeneic bone marrow transplantation and combined immunosuppressive therapy (IST). However, ...combined IST remains the method of choice for most adult AA patients. This study included 120 AA patients who received IST at the National Research Center for Hematology in 20072016. The analysis was applied to 120 patients. Median age was 25 (1765) years, M/F: 66/54, SAA/NSAA: 66%/34%. Effectiveness of IST was carried out in 120 patients with AA. This group did not include 8 SAA patients who died during the first 3 months from the start of treatment from severe infectious complications (early deaths 6.2%) and 2 AA patients who dropped out of surveillance. The observation time was 55 (6120) months. Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH clone) was detected in 67% of AA patients. The median PNH clone size (granulocytes) was 2.5 (0.0199.5)%. The treatment was according to the classical protocol of combined IST: horse antithymocytic globulin and cyclosporin A. Most of patients (87%) responded to combined immunosuppressive therapy. To achieve a positive response, it was sufficient to conduct one course of ATG to 64% of patients, two courses of ATG 24% of patients and 2% of patients responded only after the third course of ATG. A positive response after the first course was obtained in 64% of patients included in the analysis. Most of the responding patients (93%) achieve a positive response after 36 months from the start of treatment. Therefore, the 3rd6th months after the first course of ATG in the absence of an answer to the first line of therapy can be considered the optimal time for the second course of ATG. This tactic allows to get an answer in another 58% of patients who did not respond to the first course of ATG. The probability of an overall 10-year survival rate was 90% (95% confidence interval 83.696.2).

Collaborations became a popular way of searching for ideas aimed at supporting business. As a rule, companies of different industries participate in collaborations. Each of these companies specializes in certain direction and uses only limited resources, while after integration they get an opportunity to work in new industries. The more participants differ in their functioning and business-models, the more interesting and effective cooperation becomes. The review of collaboration practices founded in Russian business in the current epidemic situation served as a basis of the research. Cooperation with other brands and ability to form effective collaborations, which attract new clients, played a special role in the development of business during the pandemic. Practical experience showed that joint projects helped companies increase profits, attract new audience and step up customer loyalty. These factors gave business an opportunity to stay afloat and partially compensate for losses caused by the pandemic. By amalgamating finance, human and information resources collaboration participants became successful with limited costs. To set a goal and choose a partner was essential.
Production of poultry products is one of the cost-effective areas of animal husbandry as a more rapid solution to the problem of providing the country's population with high-value food products. At ...poultry farms, this allows producing eggs and poultry meat with a low expenditure of labor and other material and technical means per unit of output, that is, almost 2-3 times lower compared to other branches of animal husbandry. Studies of egg production of poultry cross "Highsex Brown" were conducted at the Smetanino poultry farm in the Smolensk region. The aim of the study was to study the effect of protein nutrition of chickens on their egg production and standardization of egg mass, as well as the role of vitamin supplements in the diet of poultry feeding on the quality of the products obtained.
The adsorption of sodium salts of higher carboxylates on oxidized magnesium is studied via in situ reflective ellipsometry. It is shown that the free energies of adsorption of sodium oleyl ...sarcosinate (OsS) and sodium linoleate (LiS) is >55 kJ/mol, indicating the chemisorption of carboxylates on oxidized magnesium surfaces. Electrochemical impedance spectra, voltammetry, and corrosion testing show that sodium oleate (OlS) has the best protective properties on pure and oxidized magnesium. The strong protective properties of OlS are confirmed by Mg plate testing under conditions of a wet atmosphere with daily condensation. Tentative passivation of chemically oxidized Mg in a 16 mmol/L OlS solution protects against corrosion for 92–96 h.
