In this technical report, we present our solution of KDD Cup 2021 OGB Large-Scale Challenge - PCQM4M-LSC Track. We adopt Graphormer and ExpC as our basic models. We train each model by 8-fold ...cross-validation, and additionally train two Graphormer models on the union of training and validation sets with different random seeds. For final submission, we use a naive ensemble for these 18 models by taking average of their outputs. Using our method, our team MachineLearning achieved 0.1200 MAE on test set, which won the first place in KDD Cup graph prediction track.
Photonic integrated microcombs have enabled advanced applications in optical communication, microwave synthesis, and optical metrology, which in nature unveil an optical dissipative soliton pattern ...under cavity-enhanced nonlinear processes. The most decisive factor of microcombs lies in the photonic material platforms, where materials with high nonlinearity and in capacity of high-quality chip integration are highly demanded. In this work, we present a home-developed chalcogenide glasses-Ge25Sb10S65 (GeSbS) for the nonlinear photonic integration and for the dissipative soliton microcomb generation. Compared with the current integrated nonlinear platforms, the GeSbS features wider transparency from the visible to 11 um region, stronger nonlinearity, and lower thermo-refractive coefficient, and is CMOS compatible in fabrication. In this platform, we achieve chip-integrated optical microresonators with a quality (Q) factor above 2 x 10^6, and carry out lithographically controlled dispersion engineering. In particular, we demonstrate that both a bright soliton-based microcomb and a dark-pulsed comb are generated in a single microresonator, in its separated fundamental polarized mode families under different dispersion regimes. The overall pumping power is on the ten-milliwatt level, determined by both the high Q-factor and the high material nonlinearity of the microresonator. Our results may contribute to the field of nonlinear photonics with an alternative material platform for highly compact and high-intensity nonlinear interactions, while on the application aspect, contribute to the development of soliton microcombs at low operation power, which is potentially required for monolithically integrated optical frequency combs.
Paragangliomas (PGLs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors which overproduce catecholamines (CAs). They are extra-adrenal, catecholamine-secreting tumors occurring outside the adrenal glands. Gastric PGLs ...originating from extra-adrenal paraganglia are exceptionally rare, and their presentation in geriatric patients further adds to the complexity of diagnosis and management. A 72-year-old male patient presented with enduring left upper abdominal pain and anemia persisting for over a year, and hypertension for six months. Physical examination revealed epigastric discomfort and pallor. Computed tomography scans revealed enlarged lymph nodes in the lesser curvature of the stomach and thickening of the gastric antrum wall with concavity. The patient underwent three cycles of neoadjuvant therapy before radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer. These imaging findings were confirmed during surgery and intraoperative blood pressure was in fluctuation. After the successful resection of the tumor, postoperative pathology confirmed paraganglioma. During postoperative examination, it was observed that the patient's CAs and their metabolites had returned to within the normal range. Combined with the existing ten literatures, we retrospective report the clinical and pathological characteristics and treatment strategies of the rare gastric paraganglioma.
The Leaf Area Index (LAI), as an important plant characteristic parameter, is of great significance for the monitoring of vegetation growth and the estimation of surface vegetation productivity. Rice ...is one of the world's major food crops, timely and accurate measurement of rice LAI can provide scientific information on agriculture. The remote sensing system of UAV is characterized by its cost-effective and real-time data acquisition. The method of estimating LAI by remote sensing technology has great advantages over traditional methods and has gradually become a frontier method for agricultural research. At present, the commonly used LAI inversion methods are empirical model method and physical model method. The former is not accurate because not all of the spectral information is used. The latter cannot directly calculate the analytical solution because of the complicated model and many input parameters. The main purpose of this paper is to obtain high-definition digital images of different varieties of rice using low-altitude drones, and to analyze the feasibility of estimating the LAI of rice canopy by empirical model method and porosity model method, and analyze the difference and estimation process between them. There are problems.
The role of mitochondria in Adriamycin (ADR) -induced heart failure and the protective effects of Sini Decoction (SND) were investigated.
SD rats were randomly divided into three groups, control ...group, heart failure group (model group) and SND group. ADR was injected in the rats of heart failure group and SND group by caudal vein. After injection, the rats in SND group were given SND (3.75/kg/d, p. o.). Three weeks later, cardiac function, mitochondrial swelling, content of malondialdehyde (MDA), activity of Mn SOD, Na+-K+ ATPase and Ca2+ ATPase were measured. The mRNA expression of Mn SOD was also detected by RT-PCR.
Compared with model group, the cardiac function, the activity and the mRNA expression of Mn SOD and the activity of Na+-K+ ATPase and Ca2+ ATPase were significantly elevated, while the degree of mitochondria swelling and the content of MDA were reduced in SND-treated rats.
The data suggests that oxidative stress is present in the mitochondria of myocardium in ADR-induced heart failure rats and i
According to 3GPP RAN1 conference, power scaling for uplink power control should be applied equally. However, the detail of power scaling is a remaining issue. In this contribution, we clarify some ...cases of power scaling and propose several options of power scaling on PUSCHs. It is not clear that whether the equal power scaling is relative to the allocated transmission power after or before power truncation is applied in the CC-specific PC formula. Since link adaptation at the eNodeB is typically performed assuming that the UE will transmit with the allocated transmission power, distribution of power after scaling should be as close as possible to the distribution of power before scaling. From these criteria, two new methods for power scaling are introduced. One of these two methods (option 3) has the optimal performance such that to apply power scaling on all PUSCHs without UCI in the sense that it is as equal as possible. Whereas another method (option 4) has less complexity such that each type of CCs which is treated as a whole would be applied equal power scaling. From the results of simulation, it shows that equal power scaling could have the optimal average performance. Therefore, the equal power scaling rules should be hold whatever the scaling algorithms are adopted for uplink power control.

Single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) has been adopted as uplink multiple access scheme for 3GPP LTE as it combines the advantages of orthogonal frequency division multiple ...access (OFDMA) and the low envelope variation properties of single carrier (SC) transmission. Moreover, the classical transmit antenna diversity technique as space-time block code (STBC) and space-frequency block code (SFBC) can improve the uplink performance combination with SC-FDMA schemes. In this paper, a signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) performance analysis method of SC-FDMA is proposed for STBC and SFBC schemes, respectively. The closed-form SINR expressions based on the modified SC-preserved implementation structure and MMSE equalization for receivers are derived by channel frequency response and noise variance, considering inter-symbol interference. Moreover, it can be easily extended to multi-receive antennas. By simulation results it is shown that with proposed equivalent SINR, the BLock Error Rate (BLER) performance of MIMO-SC-FDMA over slow fading channel is well matched with that over AWGN channel.
In the present study, we examined whether social problem-solving processes would add predictive utility over loneliness in accounting for unique variance in ill-being (viz., depressive symptoms and ...suicide behavior) and well-being (viz., life satisfaction and positive affect) in a sample of 230 females. Results of hierarchical regression analyses indicated that social problem-solving processes added significant predictive utility in accounting for unique variance in depressive symptoms, life satisfaction, and positive affect. Moreover, negative problem orientation emerged as a significant unique predictor of both ill-being and well-being. In contrast, positive problem orientation emerged as a significant unique predictor of well-being and only one index of ill-being. Some implications of the present findings are discussed.
