This paper presents research findings regarding the readiness of top management and employees of lifelong learning and quality approach in the hotel industry in Macedonia. The results of this paper ...should show how the top management of hotel facilities is ready for learning and that need is transferred to the employees, which is the basis for continuous improvement of quality. The results of the survey showed that the solution should be sought in the improvement of the quality system through the application of the TQM (Total Quality Management) strategy, staff development, introducing learning to improve the quality of services, and advancing processes. Adopting a new quality approach should help companies improve the quality of services and business processes as well as their business outcomes.
The subject of this paper is linked with the valorization of the meaning and the perspectives of Total Quality Management (TQM) system design and implementation within the domestic companies and ...creating a model-methodology for improved performance, efficiency and effectiveness. The research is designed as an attempt to depict the existing condition in the Macedonian companies regarding quality system design and implementation, analysed through 4 polls in the "house of quality" whose top is the ultimate management, and as its bases measurement, evaluation, analyzing and comparison of the quality are used. This "house" is being held by 4 subsystems e.g. internal standardization, methods and techniques for flawless work performance, education and motivation and analyses of the quality costs. The data received from the research and the proposal of the integral methodology for designing and implementing of TQM system are designed in turn to help and present useful directions to all Macedonian companies tending to become "world class" organizations. The basis in the creation of this model is the redesign of the business processes which afterword begins as a new phase of the business performance - continued improvement, rolling of Deming's Quality Circle (Plan-Do-Check-Act). The model-methodology proposed in this paper is integral and universal which means that it is applicable to all companies regardless of the business area.

Each company is creating a quality model of the services according to the needs of the consumers that are based on the request of what exactly is needed from a certain enterprise to be done in order to meet all the needs. All of these can be achieved when all needs and desires of the consumers/ costumers are being met. Paying attention of the desires, needs of the consumers and the attempt of the companies to satisfy their needs would increase the contentment of the customers and would allow acompetitive advantage. This paper provides an analysis for gathering data regarding the contentment of the consumers upon the quality of products/services. Also, it should point out the measures that need to be taken by the companies in order to improve their contentment. As for the results that have been received from the research, the need of using adequate methodology for designing and implementing the TQM (Total Quality Management) system is being imposed. The advantage of the using the TQM system is not only the increasement of the business results of the domestic companies that further on would serve as a starting power for continued improvement. Also it increases the dedication of the top management and the employees towards improvement of processes, consumers' content, auctioneers, delivery persons and the community.

In this work, it's given analyses of the Macedonian companies about making up a business culture and a comparison with the business culture in the world. As a result of the researches, a new ...management system is offered that is based on the TQM (Total Quality Management) philosophy. The solution was found in improvement of the management system by accepting the new TQM philosophy and utilization of its strategy, development of the staff and promotion of the processes, and all of that is done earlier, even before the new technology and the separate IT are bought. One of the biggest changes that the new TQM strategy requests from the Macedonian companies is to change the mentality and quit the old habits and the transitional syndrome. That means that the positive characteristics in the Macedonian mentality should evaluate, and the traditional values should be successfully joined with the cultural values and the current trendy values from the west, which rule the world. The education of the employees in each instance of company comes with the purpose to gain competences and experience in order to realize every business process in accordance with the requests of the ...products/ services, legal obligation and competitiveness criteria, as well as with the appointing of the employees requests, and all that with the intention to achieve quality where it is necessary to involve everyone in their own field. In this paper the following inputs are being given in order to get a clear picture if Macedonian companies are keen on to learning and stimulating the individual and collective learning as to improve the results in general. According to the given results in the research, it is stated that Macedonian companies do not care about the quality, insufficiently pay attention to the continuous education, make small investments in the innovations and over all, the quality system is built in a very small number of companies. In this paper the following model for a successful designing and implementing of the educational system as a subsystem of the house of quality is suggested. This methodology is integral and universal meaning it is applicable to all companies and institutions. Without a given training about TQM (Total Quality Management) philosophy and a continued education provided firstly to the managers and further on to all the employees, the TQM strategy could not be implemented as well as the benefits that come with the quality system.
Standardization in the management system becomes a key task of the managers and a priority issue for survival of every organization of this century. Besides the company's owner which is mostly ...concerned with the profit and fast multiplication of its invested capital, many other parties such as consumers, community, employees, deliverers and the society make a pressure in demanding. As of those demands the organization is to adapt its management system according the standards in order to be safe t hat the expectations will be fulfilled. However, to fulfill the standards in Europe and worldwide it is necessary to approach towards huge - radical changes in problem solving i.e. reengineering, new manner of consideration of causes and not as the so far known way - thinking over the consequences. Implementing this new TQM strategy means designing solidly documented quality system that covers every working process in a company and appears as a necessary base for successful usage of statistical process contr ol (SPC) and efficient teamwork which otherwise in case of bad quality system will not be able to be set. In this manner it is guaranteed that the attitude of the top management is conducted; this attitude is consisted within the quality policy that create s a climate and information base whe re team work can be developed. This paper offers a proposal methodology for designing and implementation of internal standardization of TQM system in companies. This methodology is applicable in factory for reconstructio n of wagons and in a factory for confectionary production and has shown its efficiency and usage. This paper shows the efficiency and profitability of the textile lohn production in the Republic of North Macedonia as well as in other countries in the Western Balkans, the so-called third ...countries. This geographical region is attractive because of the cheap labor, as well as the profitability that arises as a result of the economic system of work. The paper makes comparison with the production in Western European countries, where the wage for the labor is several times higher, and at the same time the taxes are also higher. In the global market, the third textile production option is the Far East, or for the most part China, as a favorable option, but with very long delivery times due to the physical distance from the European continent and the transport time for the final products. In this paper we will show the results and analyses through an example of a German textile company oriented towards production of fashion textile products in RN Macedonia, including efficiency of the textile production in the Western Balkans, as the most acceptable option for lohn production. The solutions were based on the concept of improving the efficiency of operations, especially in the area of organization of production operations, in a way that enabled complete elimination of errors, greater productivity and increased quality of the final product, within a precisely defined time frame.
New world trends in product quality assurance and processes in companies around the world are based on quality control in all processes (basic and logistics). Quality control is in all processes: ...receiving requests from clients, implementation of required services, issuing final results, maintenance of instruments, procurement, providing quality and trained staff, and commercial service. Health care institutions in Republic of North Macedonia has got old models of management. By accepting the new world philosophies, the healthcare institutions are oriented towards a different quality system, transformation of the organizational structure, patient involvement, monitoring the key processes, implementing data management tools and team work. The TQM (Total Quality Management) system in a healthcare institution is based on the main principles of this philosophy: sanitary standardization, full commitment of patients, involvement of all employees in the organization and teamwork, continuous improvement and implement of six sigma methodology. The aim of the research is to implement and apply the six-sigma methodology as a tool for improving business processes in the Public Health Institution. With proactive application of the methodology six sigma in the department of clinical microbiology were determinedbusiness processes, potential operational errors, statistical processing of the obtained data and finding a solution for the identified defects in business processes. The research conducted in the Department of Clinical Microbiology showed that with the practical application of the 6-sigma methodology, excellent improvements were obtained in all business processes by: involving more employees, correction the time for delivery of materials to admission department, and complete training for employees.
