Making lässt Schüler:innen zu Erfinder:innen innen werden, lässt sie die digitale Welt mitgestalten und ermöglicht ihnen, diese durch aktives Handeln zu verstehen. Während oft ein ästhetisch ...ansprechendes Produkt entsteht, ist es vor allem der Prozess dorthin, der für das Lernen relevant ist. Making für den schulischen Kontext ist bisher eher durch einen klar definierten Prozess zu einem gezielten Produkt gekennzeichnet. Dies macht die Aktivität organisatorisch wie inhaltlich planbar und gibt Sicherheit. Maker-Bildung beschreibt darüber hinaus auch einen offenen Prozess, in dem Lernwege und Ergebnisse nicht vordefiniert sind und in dem Fehler, Um- und Weiterdenken erlaubt sind. Dafür braucht es Räume und Kompetenzen, die derartiges Arbeiten zulassen und davon profitieren. Die Informatik als problemlösende Disziplin kann Maker-Bildung im Unterricht umsetzen. Damit lässt sich einerseits der Prozess der Informatik durch die Arbeit an einem Projekt verdeutlichen, andererseits werden informatische Kompetenzen benötigt, um Produkte zu entwickeln, die über einfache Informatiksysteme hinausgehen. Im Artikel zeigen wir, warum es hier die Informatik braucht und warum Maker-Bildung im Informatikunterricht umgesetzt werden sollte.

In this paper we present an approach on how to design teaching practices for pre-service teachers that allow for learning, experimenting, reflecting, and designing own future lessons that include ...programming in diverse school subjects. The aim is to design university courses for pre-service teachers where they approach programming in general, but they are also prepared to use it in their future teaching. Results show that students are able to design scenarios where programming is implemented in diverse subjects.
Dieser Artikel stellt das EduWear Kit vor – ein so genanntes Construction Kit mit Smart Textiles, bestehend aus Hardware, Programmierumgebung, Workshopkonzept, Webplattform und Anleitungen, mit denen ...eigene “Wearables” konstruiert werden können. Durch die Eigenschaften von Smart Textiles spricht das Kit auch weniger technik-affine Menschen an. Wir erläutern das Konzept der Construction Kits, stellen die Komponenten des EduWear Kits vor und geben Beispiele, wie das Kit zum be-greifen von Programmierbarkeit und Wearable Computing Konzepten vielfältig eingesetzt werden kann.
In this article we present the EduWear toolkit – a Construction Kit with Smart Textiles, which comprises hardware components, a programming environment, a workshop concept, webplatform and manuals. The kit allows diverse technically unexperienced target groups to construct personally meanfingul wearables.

In this paper we present a computational construction kit that allows young people to create devices that measure body movement and provide feedback about it. We also present an environment in which ...young people are empowered to become creators and inventors of their own body movement device. A workshop where this kit was used is described in detail to show how TechSportiv - the kit and the environment - should be implemented.
We present results from working with this kit and show that it is possible to create diverse personally meaningful devices which have been used to quantify movements, to indicate the quality of a movement, to assist the performance, or to translate body movement into an artistic representation. We describe the construction process of one project in detail and show how the kit acts as an object-to-think-with. We argue, that TechSportiv is a way to connect aspects of body and mind in human movement.

Creativity and collaboration are 21st century skills that should be supported throughout schooling. In the SEEDS project we are in the process of developing a technologically enhanced toolkit for ...kindergartners to support creativity and collaboration in a kindergarten setting. In this paper we will showcase our first ideas, prototypes, and initial findings from developing the toolkit with six children and one teacher. By presenting opportunities to experiment with a range of simple, recognisable everyday materials, both digital and non-digital, that the kindergartens have at hand, we seek to find ways to open up to creativity and support collaborative skills through the medium of story-telling.
