The results of experimental studies of an electric discharge and a low-power dielectric barrier discharge between metallic and electrolytic electrodes at low frequencies of 20, 33, and 100 Hz are ...presented. The burning of a low-voltage anomalous discharge of alternating current at atmospheric pressure with an increasing volt-ampere characteristic was recorded. Images of the discharge and current-voltage characteristics of electric and dielectric barrier discharges with metallic (pin and plate) and liquid (industrial water) electrodes are presented. Features of the burning of electric and dielectric barrier discharges of low-frequency current with liquid electrodes and metallic electrodes of various shapes are revealed.

The following work describes means of nickel dry-powder developer manufacturing by plasma-electrolytic dispergating. For that purpose, a plasma-electrothermic device was developed that allows to ...manufacture dry-powders with wide range of parameters. Technical conditions for nickel dry-powder developer manufacturing by method of plasma-electrolytic dispergating were defined. By factorial design method regression equations were obtained, that make it possible to plan the process of dry-powders manufacturing with set average particle size and set manufacturing process rate. The described means allows to manufacture nicol dry-powder developer with a particle size of aprox. 100 nm.

•Magnetization for quasicrystal structures of Ni51Ti49 alloy is due to emergence of Frank-Kasper (FK) clusters into them.•FK clusters appeared can be considered as some microdomains ...with nonzero magnetic moment.•Magnetization of clusters depends on both coordinational number of nearest atoms and positions of different atoms of the first coordinational sphere.•The increase of number of FK-12 polyhedrons in NixTiy clusters leads to the increase of the binding energy per atom for these structures.
Our study of the properties of nickel-titanium alloys subjected to external exposure provides a new insight into the origin of the magnetization effect emerging in these alloys. It is shown to be associated with the nonzero magnetic moments of cluster structures formed under these conditions. The calculated mass magnetization agrees well with the experimental one. All calculations are carried out in the framework of the density functional theory (DFT/PBE and DFT/PZ) using plane wave basis sets and additionally verified by the multiple scattering method.

Objectives.
To create a complex model of the individual risk of developing dependence on synthetic cannabinoids taking account of the combined influences of genetic predisposition and attention ...deficit hypera-ctivity disorder (ADHD).
Materials and methods.
A total of 146 male adolescents consuming synthetic cannabinoids and 136 healthy subjects (controls) were observed. Genetic studies assessed cases with the combination of these dependencies with ADHD. DNA was collected and six polymorphic loci of genes of the dopaminergic and serotoninergic systems were determined; results were analyzed using a series of special statistical methods.
Results and conclusions.
These data demonstrate the important role of the dopaminergic and serotoninergic systems in the pathogenesis of dependence on psychoactive substances and the significance of changes in the nucleotide sequences of the
DRD2
,
SLC6A3
, and
HTR2A
genes in the development of dependence on synthetic cannabinoids in males with ADHD.

Objective
: to perform a genome-wide polygenic analysis of multiple sclerosis (MS) markers in the ethnic groups of Bashkirs, Russians, and Tatars living in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Russian ...Federation).
Patients and methods
. Genotyping was performed using allele-specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis of genes of the human leukocyte differentiation antigens CD6 (rs17824933), CD40 (rs6074022), CD58 (rs2300747), CD86 (rs9282641), transcription factors SOX8 (rs2744148) and ZBTB46 (rs6062314), beta-mannosidase MANBA (rs228614), C-type lectin domain CLEC16A (rs12708716), ribosomal protein S6 kinase B1 RPS6KB1 (rs180515), and long noncoding RNA gene PVT1 (rs759648) in 644 patients with MS and 1408 controls. Multilocus analysis of the disease associations with combinations of genotypes and alleles of the studied polymorphic loci was performed using the APSampler algorithm.
Results and discussion
. We determined the distribution of genotype and allele frequencies of the studied polymorphic loci in the ethnic groups of Bashkirs, Russians, and Tatars. We also observed disease associations with CD58 (rs2300747) and RPS6KB1 (rs180515) polymorphic loci in Russian men, CD86 (rs9282641) in Russian, PVT1 (rs759648) in Tatar women, CD40 (rs6074022) in Bashkir men, and identified 19 combinations of genotypes and/or alleles significantly associated with MS.
Conclusion
. Based on the genome-wide polygenic analysis of MS markers, we identified ethno- and gender-specific combined markers of the disease susceptibility.
Abstract
The article is devoted to the actual problem of construction and operation of pipelines in difficult geological conditions. The paper analyzes the interaction of permafrost soils with ...underground structures. One of the main problems is considered the soil heaving - the ability of water-saturated soils to increase its volume when frozen. The authors analyzed one of the existing calculation methods for determining the stress-strain state of a pipeline laid on heaving soils; the dependences of the determination of the normal forces of frost heaving have been investigated; calculated the values of stresses and displacements in the SCAD software package. It was revealed that the problems associated with the phenomenon of changes in the volume of soils with temperature drops depend both on the rate of soil freezing and on the length of the heaving section.

•We suggest overall pattern for acid-catalyzed deacetylation of per-acetylated glucopyranosides.•Deasetylation of per-acetates has stepwise manner and leads to 2-O-acetyl aryl ...glycosides.•The reaction stepwise mechanism is independent of the polarity of the solvent.•The activation barriers of deacetylation increase with increasing polarity of the solvent.
Acetyl protecting groups are commonly used in carbohydrate chemistry. Partially acetylated arylglycosides are not only useful building blocks in syntheses, but they are also substantial for plant metabolism. Nonselective base catalysis is often used for removing the acetyl groups. Even though acid-catalyzed deacetylation might be more selective, it is seldom used in carbohydrate chemistry, because it has not been thoroughly investigated. In this work, we study the acid-catalyzed deacetylation of per-acetylated phenyl glycosides experimentally and computationally by using density functional theory (DFT) calculations. Based on quantum modeling, we design a general scheme for the stepwise acid-catalyzed deacetylation of arylglycosides per-acetates. The approach can also be applied on gluco- and galactopyranosides. We have studied the deacetylation reaction in solvents of different polarity and found that the activation barriers of the stepwise deacetylation mechanism increase with increasing polarity of the solvent.

The paper describes the solutions of the building materials heat conduction problems - heating source power and size definition based on temperature measurements on a material surface and on layers, ...heating source characteristics and surface temperature identification by temperature measurements on a treated area. The basic problem of the building concrete block heating by mobile Gauss type thermal source are addressed. As a result there are given formulae for an estimation of the plasmatron useful power and maximal temperature on the depth z ≥ 1 mm with accuracy enough for a practical appliance. Also values of the main technological parameters during the treatment are recommended and the technology of concrete block finish is shown.
