To identify polymorphisms in the genes of dopaminergic and serotonergic systems associated with the risk of suicidal behavior in individuals with dependence on synthetic cathinones.
One hundred and ...eighty-two men with the diagnosis of Substance dependence (ICD-10 F15) tested positive for metabolites of synthetic cathinones (a-PVP, MDPV) in the urine were studied. Genotyping was performed for rs1800497
, rs4646984
, VNTR 40 b.p.
, rs27072
, rs6313
and rs6296
using PCR and RFLP technique.
It was found that the genes of the serotonergic system
and
are predictors of the development of some endophenotypes of suicidal behavior in individuals with dependence on synthetic cathinones.
Effective and fast algorithms for calculating rate constants for internal conversion (IC) and intersystem crossing (ISC) in the Franck-Condon and Herzberg-Teller approximations have been developed ...and implemented. The methods have been employed for calculating IC and ISC rate constants for the pyrromethene-567 dye (
PM567
), hetero8circulene (
4B
) and free-base porphyrin (
H

P
). The fluorescence quantum yields obtained by comparing calculated rate constants for the radiative and non-radiative processes are in good agreement with experimental data.

We prove some new Hardy-type inequalities for the Jacobi weight function. The resulting inequalities contain additional terms with the weight functions characteristic of Poincaré–Friedrichs ...inequalities. One of the constants in the inequality is unimprovable. We apply the inequalities to extending the available classes of univalent analytic functions in simply-connected domains and find univalence conditions in terms of estimates for the Schwartz derivative of an analytic function on the unit disk, the exterior of the unit disk, and the right half-plane.

Delayed fluorescence from molecules with an inverted singlet-triplet gap (DFIST) is the consequence of the unusual reverse order of the lowest excited singlet (S
1
) and triplet (T
1
) states of ...thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) emitters. Heptazine (1,3,4,6,7,9,9
b
-heptaazaphenalene) derivatives have an inverted singlet-triplet gap thanks to the combination of multiple resonance (MR) effects and a significant double excitation character. Here, we study computationally the effect of gold(
i
) metalation and coordination on the optical properties of heptazine (molecule
4
) and the phosphine-functionalized 2,5,8-tris(dimethylphosphino)heptazine derivatives (molecules
1-3
).
Ab initio
calculations at the approximate second-order coupled cluster (CC2) and extended multiconfigurational quasi degenerate perturbation theory at the second order (XMC-QDPT2) levels show that molecules
1-4
have an inverted singlet-triplet gap due to the alternating spatial localization of the electron and hole of the exciton in the heptazine core. A non-vanishing one-electron spin-orbit coupling operator matrix element between T

suggest that this new family of complexes may be the first organometallic DFIST emitters reported.
Substitution with gold(

One must use a three-dimensional approach to determine the concentration of stresses in thin-walled elements of structures with local deepenings or defects. The stress concentration is analyzed for ...shells and panels with local deepenings. The authors investigated the effect of the finite element partition of a panel on the results and the concentration of the stress for the pan- els made from the different type of material: the model of Hooke and the model of Neo-Hooke (rubber-like material).
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic progressive disease of nervous system caused by a combination of genetic and environmental factors leading to the development of a complex of autoimmune and ...neurodegenerative processes. We performed the analysis of association between multiple sclerosis and polymorphic markers of interleukin-2 (
IL2
), interleukin-2 receptor alpha chain (
IL2A
) and interleukin-7 receptor alpha chain (
IL7R
) in the group of Russians, Tatars, and Bashkirs from the Republic of Bashkortostan (
N
= 1620). In the total study group, we detected the association of
IL7R
rs10624573*I (OR = 0.79,
P
Bonf
= 0.018) and rs1494558*T (OR = 1.44,
P
Bonf
= 2.33 × 10
–4
) variants with multiple sclerosis. When analyzed separately according to the ethnic origin, the association with
IL7R
rs1494558*T (OR = 1.49, P
Bonf
= 0.005) remained significant in the group of Russians, and the association of
IL7R
rs10624573*I remained significant in the group of Bashkirs (OR = 0.56,
P
Bonf
= 0.02). We performed the multilocus analysis of association using the APSampler algorithm, and found seven combinations of the alleles and/or genotypes of the studied polymorphic loci, significantly associated with multiple sclerosis, most frequently including
IL7R
rs1494558 and
IL7R
rs10624573 allelic variants.

Results from experimental studies of an electric discharge operating between a solid anode and an electrolytic cathode in a wide pressure range are presented. Specific features of the discharge ...ignition and discharge shape and peculiarities the structure of cathode spots on the electrolyte surface and anode spots on the surface of the solid electrode are revealed. The dependences of the current density on the electrolytic cathode and metal anode on the total current are measured, and the spatial distribution of the electric field is determined. A transition of a glow discharge into a multichannel discharge is investigated. The experimental data on the frequency and amplitude of the current and voltage pulsations are presented. Requirements for the maintenance of an electric discharge with an electrolytic cathode are formulated using the obtained experimental results.

We have analyzed the genotype frequency dynamics of
CASP
8,
BCL
2 and
BAX
gene polymorphic markers in a group of ethnic Tatars from Bashkortostan aged 21–109 years. Genotyping was carried out using ...PCR and PCR-RFLP. We have revealed the associations between age and −652(6N)I/D polymorphism of the
CASP
8 gene (rs3834129), 140016C>T polymorphism of the
BCL
2 gene (rs12454712), and 919A>G polymorphism of the
BAX
gene (rs1805419). An increase in the frequency of *C/*C-genotype in
BCL
2 gene, and a decrease in the frequency of the *I/*D-genotype of
CASP
8 gene was observed in males of advanced old age. As well as a decreased frequency of *G/*G-genotype of
BAX
gene among long livers was detected. Females long livers were characterized by an increased number of *I/*D-genotypes of
CASP
8 gene, *T/*T-genotype of
BCL
2 gene, and *A/*A-genotype of
BAX
gene, while the frequency of *D/*D-genotype carriers of
CASP
8 gene, *C/*C-genotype carriers of
BCL
2 gene, *A/*G and *G/*G-genotype carriers of
BAX
gene was reduced.

The proofs of many Hardy-type inequalities are based on one-dimensional inequalities. The difficulties that come from the domains of integration are implicitly reflected in the one-dimensional ...inequalities on the interval used to substantiate the spatial analogs. One-dimensional inequalities are the analytical basis for solving geometric problems. The paper provides a brief overview of results in this area. An attempt is made to systematically present the theory of Hardy-type inequalities with additional terms involving the geometric characteristics of the regions, for example, such as the volume, diameter, inner radius, or the maximum conformal modulus of the region.
