Various approaches are presented in the paper with regard to the definition of reference water levels for the analysis of functional and structural stability requirements in the design of dykes and ...earthfill dams of retarding basins and water-storage reservoirs. It is cautioned that various methods are used to define reference water levels at the design stage, which results in differing levels of reliability of earthfill dams and dykes. A critical review of current approaches is made, and recommendations are given for a proper approach to the definition of reference flows and water levels for stability analysis.
U radu su prikazani različiti pristupi određivanja mjerodavnog vodostaja za analize funkcionalnih zahtjeva i zahtjeva za stabilnost konstrukcije pri projektiranju hidrotehničkih nasipa i nasutih ...brana retencija i akumulacija. Ukazuje se na različitu praksu pri određivanju mjerodavnih vodostaja u projektiranju, što rezultira različitom pouzdanošću nasutih brana i hidrotehničkih nasipa. Daje se takođern kritički osvrt na pristupe te donose preporuke za pristup definiranju mjerodavnih protoka i vodostaja za analizu stabilnosti.
Determining minimum water flows that will continuously run through a natural channel downstream of a water intake (Q0) is a multidisciplinary problem. It is, however, not approached in a ...multidisciplinary way in most countries. This paper offers an overview of the main methods and proposes a practical and environmentally more acceptable way of determining the retained flow, namely the environmentally acceptable flow (EAF). It is proposed that until the conditions are created for use of more complex methods and or biological response techniques, the EAF be defined by determining whether the retained flow is sufficient for sustaining and developing indigenous wildlife in the streams by ensuring of the essential living conditions for the bioindicator species. The proposed bioindicators are characteristic fish populations of a specific type of stream and stream reaches. Being the final link in the ecological food chain, fish species are reliable indicators of bioecological balance in a stream.

The paper analyses the guidelines regarding air traffic developmentin Croatia within the context of integration processesof the European countries, which has been articulated bythe EATCHIP and EATMS ...project as a unique European airtraffic management. The positive projection of the developmentis based on the re-integration of the intemational airroutes (overflights) with the Croatian interests from thegeotraffic aspect mostly overlapping with the interests ofSlovenia and Bosnia and He1zegovina. As conclusion, a conceptof common strategies of these countries is suggested, in requilingthe operationalisation of air conidors in this part of Europe.

Područje Parka prirode Kopački rit (PPKR) jedna je od najvećih fluvijalno-močvarnih nizina u Europi. Zbog vidljivog trenda smanjenja močvarnih i vodnih površina odnosno zadržavanja taloga u području ...Kopačkog rita osmišljena je i postavljena mreža opažačkih postaja recentnog taloženja kako bi se navedeni procesi kvantificirali. Postavljeno je ukupno 50 mjernih postaja u kanalima, rukavcima, barama i močvarama. Rezultati mjerenja recentnog taloženja i erozije ukazuju na povećano taloženje u većini dijelova PPKR s maksimumom u Kopačkom jezeru koji iznosi 16,5 cm u vremenskom periodu od samo devet mjeseci. Ovakvi rezultati ukazuju da je situacija u području PPKR alarmantna te je potrebno intenzivirati monitoring recentnog taloženja s ciljem definiranja prostorno-vremenske raspodjele taloženja i erozije u području Parka prirode Kopački rit. Detaljnim monitoringom te analizom svih drugih dostupnih podataka, modernim analitičkim metodama, navedeni procesi mogli bi se prognozirati u budućnosti što bi predstavljalo znanstveno utemeljenu podlogu za održivim gospodarenjem Parka prirode Kopački rit.
