In microgrid, virtual synchronous generators can enhance the system stability by simulating the operation mechanism of synchronous generators. However, a large impact current could be triggered ...during the grid-access of VSG inverters, resulting in switching failure. Aiming at this problem, based on real-time digital simulator (RTDS), this paper proposes a complete and simple pre-synchronization control strategy based on secondary frequency modulation and voltage regulation. Firstly, the grid-access structure of VSG was defined, and a mathematical model of VSG was constructed, followed by the design of power-frequency and excitation regulators. Next, secondary frequency and voltage regulation was performed on the microgrid in islanded mode to eliminate the frequency and voltage bias induced by load changes. On this basis, the grid phase was collected by phase-locked loop, the phases were synchronized through phase difference detection, and the grid-access synchronization was completed, realizing the seamless switching between islanded and grid-connected modes. Compared with the universality of applying matlab simulation software, real-time digital simulator (RTDS) has great advantages compared with physical simulation and general simulation software. Finally, the proposed strategy was proved effective with a self-designed RTDS simulation model.

In this paper, we propose the donation tracing blockchain model (DTBM) to render the ...donation process open and transparent, by using blockchain with decentralization, traceability, and anti-tampering. However, the existing blockchain systems have a problem that the process of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus algorithm is easily controlled by a few nodes. To prevent the centralization and reduce the probability of malicious nodes being selected, we propose an improved DPoS consensus algorithm for DTBM. It adopts the K-means algorithm to select good nodes in the agent queue in advance. Experimental results show that the donation process is transparent and traceable in DTBM. And it also solves the problem of centralization and improves security.

The growing demand for large-capacity long distance transmission of wind power has boosted the development of flexible direct current (DC) transmission technology. To facilitate wind power ...integration, this paper designs a modular multilevel converter (MMC) for steady-state operation, using the parameters of the demonstration DC transmission project of offshore wind power in Sheyang County, eastern China's Jiangsu Province. Relying on the simulation platform of PSCAD/EMTDC, the authors analyzed the proposed control theory, and verified that, under different working conditions (e.g., changing wind speed), the MMC-based high voltage direct current (MMC-HVDC) transmission system can integrate the wind power safely and efficiently. In addition, the authors discussed how to enhance the fault ride-through (FRT), a prominent problem in wind power operation, of the flexible DC system containing wind power, from the perspective of alternating current (AC) fault and DC fault.
Choanephora rot of Chenopodium plants (CRC) was observed at the flowering stages in seven plantations of Shanxi Province, China. CRC had caused leaf, stem, and panicle neck rot of C. quinoa, panicle ...neck and stem rot of C. formosanum, and stem rot of C. album. Typical symptoms included water-soaked, rapid soft rotting, and abundant sporulation on the whole panicle necks, stems, and leaves. Based on morphological characteristics, phylogenetic analyses, and pathogenicity tests, the pathogens were identified as Choanephoraceae cucurbitarum. Sporangiola and sporangiospore of C. cucurbitarum germinated at 30 °C and were able to germinate by two h post-inoculation (hpi). The germination rates of sporangiola and sporangiospore significantly increased at 3 to 4 hpi, and the germination rates ranged from 91.53 to 97.67%. The temperature had a significant effect on the pathogenicity of C. cucurbitarum the optimum pathogenic temperatures for stems of C. quinoa, C. formosanum and C. album were 30 °C after one day post-inoculation. Choanephoraceae cucurbitarum could infect white and red quinoa panicle necks between 20 and 30 °C, and the average lesion lengths were 0.21 to 3.62 cm. Among the five tested fungicides (boscalid, dimethomorph, isopyrazam, propiconazole, and tebuconazole), isopyrazam showed higher sensitivity to sporangiola germination of C. cucurbitarum, with an EC50 value of 0.6550 μg/mL. Isopyrazam and tebuconazole strongly inhibited the sporangiospore germination of C. cucurbitarum, which showed EC50 values of 0.4406 and 0.3857 μg/mL. To our knowledge, the present study found for the first time that C. cucurbitarum is a pathogen causing panicle neck of C. formosanum and stem rot of C. formosanum and C. album, while CRC first appeared in the quinoa panicle necks, and gradually expanded to stems and leaves.
We present a new global model of collinear autocorrelation based on second harmonic generation nonlinearity. The model is rigorously derived from the nonlinear coupled wave equation specific to the ...autocorrelation measurement configuration, without requiring a specific form of the incident pulse function. A rigorous solution of the nonlinear coupled wave equation is obtained in the time domain and expressed in a general analytical form. The global model fully accounts for the nonlinear interaction and propagation effects within nonlinear crystals, which are not captured by the classical local model. To assess the performance of the global model compared to the classic local model, we investigate the autocorrelation signals obtained from both models for different incident pulse waveforms and different full-widthes at half-maximum (FWHMs). When the incident pulse waveform is Lorentzian with an FWHM of 200 fs, the global model predicts an autocorrelation signal FWHM of 399.9 fs, while the classic local model predicts an FWHM of 331.4 fs. The difference between the two models is 68.6 fs, corresponding to an error of 17.2%. Similarly, for a sech-type incident pulse with an FWHM of 200 fs, the global model predicts an autocorrelation signal FWHM of 343.9 fs, while the local model predicts an FWHM of 308.8 fs. The difference between the two models is 35.1 fs, with an error of 10.2%. We further examine the behavior of the models for Lorentzian pulses with FWHMs of 100 fs, 200 fs and 500 fs. The differences between the global and local models are 17.1 fs, 68.6 fs and 86.0 fs, respectively, with errors approximately around 17%. These comparative analyses clearly demonstrate the superior accuracy of the global model in intensity autocorrelation modeling.
The pulsed ion beam from a vacuum arc source in a compact sealed-tube neutron generator owns many special features, such as multiparticle mixture beams, high-intensity beams, short pulsewidth beams, ...transporting in a single gap acceleration system, and eccentric beams. Beam profile and composition are useful information for designing a high-intensity sealed-tube neutron generator, especially for the insulation withstand of the device, the life of the tritium target, the neutron yield, and so on. An improved traditional online diagnostic method that uses an aluminum-coated scintillator screen and a novel offline diagnostic method that is based on secondary ion mass spectrometry are introduced, respectively. The preliminary experimental results can show the intensity distribution of the ion beam profile and the composition with high resolution. The results from the two methods can fit each other well.
Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) is a highly promising biomarker for the early diagnosis and treatment of gastric cancer (GC). However, there is still a lack of effective and practical ctDNA detection ...methods. In this work, a simple and economical capillary non-gel sieving electrophoresis-LED induced fluorescence detection (NGCE-LEDIF) platform coupled with catalytic hairpin assembly (CHA) as the signal amplification strategy is proposed for quantitative detection of PIK3CA E542K and TP53 (two types of ctDNA associated with GC). We have reasonably designed two pairs of programmable oligonucleotide hairpin probes for PIK3CA E542K and TP53. Using a one-pot reaction, the presence of ctDNA triggers the cyclic amplification of CHA, forming numerous thermodynamically stable H1/H2 double-strands. The H1/H2 double-stranded DNA catalyzed by PIK3CA E542K and TP53 can be easily separated by NGCE due to their different lengths, enabling simultaneous detection of both ctDNAs. Under optimal experimental conditions, the detection limits of this strategy for detecting GC-related biomarkers PIK3CA E542K and TP53 are 20.35 pM and 19.61 pM, respectively, and can achieve 730-fold signal amplification. This strategy has a good recovery in the serum matrix. The results of this study show that this strategy has significant advantages such as high selectivity, a simple process, no special instruments and equipment, no need for fluorescence modification of hairpin probes in advance, high automation, low cost, and minimal sample consumption. This provides a powerful method for the detection of trace cancer biomarkers in the serum matrix with good application prospects.

Network traffic prediction plays a significant role in network management. Previous network traffic prediction methods mainly focus on the temporal relationship between network traffic, and used time ...series models to predict network traffic, ignoring the spatial information contained in traffic data. Therefore, the prediction accuracy is limited, especially in long-term prediction. To improve the prediction accuracy of the dynamic network traffic in the long term, we propose an Attention-based Spatial–Temporal Graph Network (ASTGN) model for network traffic prediction to better capture both the temporal and spatial relations between the network traffic. Specifically, in ASTGN, we exploit an encoder–decoder architecture, where the encoder encodes the input network traffic and the decoder outputs the predicted network traffic sequences, integrating the temporal and spatial information of the network traffic data through the Spatio-Temporal Embedding module. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method ASTGN in long-term prediction.

Sensitive and reliable X-ray detectors are essential for medical radiography, industrial inspection and security screening. Lowering the radiation dose allows reduced health risks and increased ...frequency and fidelity of diagnostic technologies for earlier detection of disease and its recurrence. Three-dimensional (3D) organic–inorganic hybrid lead halide perovskites are promising for direct X-ray detection – they show improved sensitivity compared to conventional X-ray detectors. However, their high and unstable dark current, caused by ion migration and high dark carrier concentration in the 3D hybrid perovskites, limits their performance and long-term operation stability. Here we report ultrasensitive, stable X-ray detectors made using zero-dimensional (0D) methylammonium bismuth iodide perovskite (MA3Bi2I9) single crystals. The 0D crystal structure leads to a high activation energy (Ea) for ion migration (0.46 eV) and is also accompanied by a low dark carrier concentration (~ 106 cm−3). The X-ray detectors exhibit sensitivity of 10,620 µC Gyair−1 cm−2, a limit of detection (LoD) of 0.62 nGyair s−1, and stable operation even under high applied biases; no deterioration in detection performance was observed following sensing of an integrated X-ray irradiation dose of ~23,800 mGyair, equivalent to > 200,000 times the dose required for a single commercial X-ray chest radiograph. Regulating the ion migration channels and decreasing the dark carrier concentration in perovskites provide routes for stable and ultrasensitive X-ray detectors.

Abstract
We present an analytical method to evaluate the second-harmonic generation (SHG) process of ultrashort laser pulses in a nonlinear medium within the small-signal regime. Building upon the ...broadband nonlinear coupled wave theory, we derive an analytical solution that allows one to investigate the fundamental physics and detailed dynamics of the nonlinear interaction between ultrashort laser pulses. We find that SHG for ultrashort laser pulses in a nonlinear crystal arises from a series of self-SHG and self sum-frequency generation processes involving different frequency components. We have applied the analytical method to investigate specific pulse profiles with Gaussian and sech functions and found good agreement between analytical theory and numerical simulations, validating the accuracy of the analytical approach. The analytical method enables one to explore the evolution of the second-harmonic wave under various pulse profiles, pulse widths, and crystal thicknesses, and offers a more efficient and insightful approach to study the nonlinear optical dynamics of ultrashort laser pulses.
