Ekstremni vremenski događaji, između kojih su i obilne kiše, postali su sve češća pojava u mnogim dijelovima svijeta. S obzirom na to da se planet nastavlja zagrijavati, očekuje se njihovo povećanje. ...Predviđa se da će poljoprivredni sektor, koji izravno ovisi o klimi, pretrpjeti velike štete s očekivanim padom prinosa usjeva. Istraživanje je usmjereno na poplave koje nastaju kao posljedice obilnih kiša te njihov utjecaj na poljoprivredni sektor u Hrvatskoj, s naglaskom na njegovu sjevernu Panonsku regiju. Podaci su prikupljeni za razdoblje 2015-2020, a temelje se na anketi od 34 anonimna pitanja provedenom među poljoprivrednicima koji su prethodno prijavljivali klimatske štete na svojim usjevima. Budući da je gotovo 80% sudionika istraživanja u posljednjih 5 godina na svojim proizvodnim površinama imalo poplavu (uglavnom kratkotrajnu tj. poplavljivanje do sedam dana), jasno je da ovoj vrsti problema treba dodatno posvetiti pažnju. Podaci sugeriraju da su se poplave najčešće dogodile u fazi klijanja biljaka (prije 5. lista) što predstavlja rizik za oštećenje biljaka i posljedično smanjenje prinosa. Kombinacija mjera ublažavanja i prilagodbe mogla bi umanjiti zadržavanje vode na poljima i smanjiti štetu, međutim, istraživanje je pokazalo da poljoprivrednici rijetko koriste takve mjere. Znanje stečen u ovoj studiji predstavlja prvi korak ka razumijevanju potencijalnih negativnih učinaka ekstremnih događaja na krhki poljoprivredni sektor u Hrvatskoj i moglo bi pomoći vlastima u donošenju odluka s ciljem smanjenja posljedica takvih događaja.

By introducing social networking concept into the mobile network domain, proliferation and availability of social networking services could be notably expanded. This paper presents the MAgNet, a middleware based on software agent technology that enables social networking services for users in the mobile network domain. The MAgNet enables mobile users to define and customize their social relationships with other users, as well as it uses created relationships to plan and manage group events.

Case-control study of 32 consecutive patients with SSNHL.
Patients with onset of SSNHL within 72 hours were treated with pentoxifylline infusions for 10 days. Transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasonography of vertebrobasilar circulation and hearing levels were examined at the onset of SSNHL (before treatment), after 10 days of therapy, and after 3 months.

Patients with SSNHL had more frequent pathologic TCD ultrasonographic findings compared with a normal population. Thirteen patients with SSNHL had normal TCD ultrasonographic findings, eight had borderline findings, and six had pathologic findings, and in five patients, initially, pathologic TCD ultrasonographic findings improved during therapy. Patients with normal TCD ultrasonographic findings had an average hearing improvement of 17 dB, whereas patients with borderline and pathologic TCD ultrasonographic findings had 3 and 0 dB of average hearing improvement, respectively. The greatest improvement (28 dB) was noticed in patients who showed improvement in TCD ultrasonographic findings.
Although the number of patients is small, our results led to the conclusion that SSNHL has vascular etiology, at least in some patients. Consequently, the therapy for SSNHL should depend on etiology; that is, vasoactive medications should be reserved for patients with supposed vascular etiology. TCD ultrasonography could have a role in the decision regarding the optimal treatment of SSNHL.
Dušična gnojidba jedan je od uobičajenih agrotehničkih postupaka u vinogradarskoj proizvodnji, čime se može utjecati na povećanje vegetativne mase vinove loze i prinosa grožđa, ali i na dinamiku ...dozrijevanja, vezanu, prvenstveno, uz razlike u koncentracijama
šećera, ukupne kiselosti i sadržaja organskih kiselina u grožđu. Pokus
je proveden u dvije godine (2006. – 2007.) na kultivarima Chardonnay, Graševina i Rizling rajnski, uz tri različita intenziteta dušične gnojidbe 23 kg, 70 kg i 117 kg N/ha. Sadržaj šećera te jabučne i limunske kiseline nije se mijenjao s obzirom na intenzitet gnojidbe. Razlike su uočene u grožđu Rizlinga rajnskog 2006. godine pri gnojidbi s 23 kg i 70 kg N/ha te Chardonnaya pri gnojidbi s 117 kg N/ha.
