NEVOD-DECOR is the unique experiment where systematic studies of cosmic ray muon bundles in a wide range of zenith angles and, accordingly, the energies of primary cosmic rays are carried out. ...Impressive experimental material (more than 100 thousand events) has been accumulated over a long time period from May 2012 to December 2022. The earlier developed method of local muon density spectra allows us to compare experimental data on muon bundles with the results of the EAS muon component simulations. The analysis showed that the observed intensity of muon bundles at primary cosmic ray energies of about 1 EeV and higher can be compatible with the expectation (in frame of widely used hadronic interaction models) only under the assumption of an extremely heavy mass composition. It is consistent with data of several other experiments on investigations of air shower muon content, but contradicts the available measurements of the depth of the shower maximum in the atmosphere by means of fluorescent technique, which favor a light mass composition at these energies. This probably leads to the need to revise the existing hadronic interaction models.

Muon snapshots (muonographs) obtained by means of muon hodoscope URAGAN and meteorological maps from the Doppler weather radar DMRL-C during a thunderstorm event occurred in Moscow on August 30, 2018 ...are compared with each other in detail. Wavelet analysis of obtained muon data is performed. Search for possible predictors of a thunderstorm event is conducted.
In this paper we continue developing an earlier proposed model of quark-gluon blob (QGB) production with large orbital momentum, which allows to demonstrate and study different properties of ...nucleus-nucleus interactions. In particular, the number of nucleons and transferred energy in QGB are considered and comparison with predictions of other models is analyzed.

12 years ago, at 12th ISVHECRI, a special NEEDS workshop was held to discuss future LHC data required for interpretation of cosmic ray experiments. Now, when the main task of LHC is solved – the ...Higgs boson is discovered – the question “What will be the next?” is very actual. In this paper the results of cosmic ray experiments at LHC energies are considered. Their possible explanation in the frame of a new model of production of quark-gluon matter blobs is discussed. The necessity to pass in LHC experiments from investigations of pp-interactions to investigations of nucleus-nucleus interactions is underlined since cosmic rays consist mainly of nuclei (≈ 60%) which interact with nuclei of air. But namely in these nucleus-nucleus interactions many unusual results were obtained in cosmic ray investigations. Corresponding tasks for future LHC experiments are proposed.

In order to clarify the nature of the "muon puzzle", investigations of the muon bundle energy deposit in the detector material were carried out. For the first time, experimental estimates of the average energy of muons in the bundles of inclined air showers initiated by primary particles with energies from 10 to 1000 PeV have been obtained.
The measurement of the jet cross sections by the H1 collaboration had been compared to various predictions including the next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD calculations which are corrected in ...this erratum for an implementation error in one of the components of the NNLO calculations. The jet data and the other predictions remain unchanged. Eight figures, one table and conclusions are adapted accordingly, exhibiting even better agreement between the corrected NNLO predictions and the jet data.

On the contrary, measurements of the depth of the shower maximum in the atmosphere in the experiments using air fluorescence technique, favour a light mass composition of primary cosmic rays at these energies.
The neutrino telescope IceCube is capable to reconstruct the energy spectrum of muons in very high energy region by means of measurements of muon-induced cascades. To compare with experimental data, ...the expected spectra of cascades were theoretically estimated. Calculations were performed for two variants of muon spectrum on the ice surface: a simple power-law energy spectrum with a differential slope index −3.7, and a composite spectrum combined of two power spectra with differential indexes −3.7 and −2.7. The differential spectra of cascades for different zenith angles and integral cascade spectra calculated for two variants of muon spectra are discussed.
