Σκοπός της εργασίας είναι ο εμπλουτισμός με περισσότερες λειτουργίες του εργαλείου LDAT Tool, το οποίο τροφοδοτείται από τα δεδομένα του IBM-Lotus Learning Management System. Το ήδη υπάρχον εργαλείο ...εξάγει στατιστικά αποτελέσματα με βάση την ηλεκτρονική συμπεριφορά των μαθητών. Στόχος είναι να προστεθούν επιπλέον λειτουργίες στο LDAT Tool, όπως είναι η εξόρυξη γνώσης των αλγορίθμων μηχανικής μάθησης του WEKA. Το εργαλείο έχει ως στόχο να βοηθήσει τον καθηγητή να κατανοήσει και να ερμηνεύσει τα αποτελέσματα των εξετάσεων των φοιτητών, μέσα από τη συμπεριφορά πλοήγησης, που τείνει να έχει η πλειοψηφία των μαθητών κατά τη διάρκεια των διαλέξεων και του ακαδημαϊκού εξαμήνου. Οι πληροφορίες παρουσιάζονται με απλό, κατανοητό και φιλικό τρόπο, μέσα από το εργαλείο, ερμηνεύοντας τη συμπεριφορά των μαθητών. Με αυτόν τον τρόπο ο καθηγητής μπορεί να έχει μια εικόνα του επιπέδου του ακροατηρίου του, μπορεί να εντοπίσει τα αδύνατα σημεία της πλειοψηφίας των μαθητών του και να κάνει ανασχεδιασμό της διδακτικής διαδικασίας του, ώστε να επιτευχθεί όσο το δυνατόν καλύτερη μετάδοση και αξιοποίηση της γνώσης και το μάθημα να στεφθεί με επιτυχία.
To control the final grain structure and the density of structural crystalline defects in silicon (Si) ingots is still a main issue for Si used in photovoltaic solar cells. It concerns both ...innovative and conventional fabrication processes. Due to the dynamic essence of the phenomena and to the coupling of mechanisms at different scales, the post-mortem study of the solidified ingots gives limited results. In the past years, we developed an original system named GaTSBI for Growth at high Temperature observed by Synchrotron Beam Imaging, to investigate in situ the mechanisms involved during solidification. X-ray radiography and X-ray Bragg diffraction imaging (topography) are combined and implemented together with the running of a high temperature (up to 2073 K) solidification furnace. The experiments are conducted at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF). Both imaging techniques provide in situ and real time information during growth on the morphology and kinetics of the solid/liquid (S/L) interface, as well as on the deformation of the crystal structure and on the dynamics of structural defects including dislocations. Essential features of twinning, grain nucleation, competition, strain building, and dislocations during Si solidification are characterized and allow a deeper understanding of the fundamental mechanisms of its growth.

The last three decades have witnessed a period of growing archaeological activity in Greece that have enhanced our awareness of the diversity and variability of ancient communities. New sites offer ...rich datasets from many aspects of material culture that challenge traditional perceptions and suggest complex interpretations of the past. This volume provides a synthetic overview of recent developments in the study of Neolithic Greece and reconsiders the dynamics of human-environment interactions while recording the growing diversity in layers of social organization. It fills an essential lacuna in contemporary literature and enhances our understanding of the Neolithic communities in the Greek Peninsula.
