This study aims to optimize ultrasonic-assisted natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) based extraction from C. longa. Choline chloride-lactic acid (CCLA-H2O = 1:1, b/v) was used to investigate the ...impact of various process parameters such as solvent’s water content, solid loading, temperature, and extraction time. The optimal yield of 79.635 mg/g of C. longa was achieved from extraction in 20% water content NADES with a 4% solid loading in 35 °C temperature for 1 h. Peleg’s model was used to describe the kinetics of the optimized ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) method, and the results were found to be compatible with experimental data. The optimum conditions obtained from C. longa extraction were then used for the extraction of C. xanthorriza and C. mangga, which give yields of 2.056 and 31.322 mg/g, respectively. Furthermore, n-hexane was utilized as an anti-solvent in the separation process of curcuminoids extract from C. longa, C. xanthorriza, and C. mangga, which gave curcuminoid recovery of 39%, 0.74%, and 27%, respectively. Solidification of curcuminoids was also carried out using the crystallization method with n-hexane and isopropanol. However, the solution of CCLA and curcuminoids formed a homogeneous mixture with isopropanol. Hence, the curcuminoids could not be solidified due to the presence of NADES in the extract solution.

This research aims to provide an overview of the problem of the role of school counselors related to the implementation of character education. In research using qualitative methods with literature ...review studies or literature studies. The results of this study show that the implementation of character development begins with the formation of the basic values and norms that exist in society according to state regulations. In its implementation, character education must involve all educators in schools so that the goals of national education can be achieved, one of which is a counselor. The position of school counselors as educators is stated in the 2003 National Education System Law. School counselors' efforts to play a role in implementing character education include consultants acting as examples, problem solvers, and mediators. The application of character education through guidance and counseling counselors has the aim of forming, developing, and increasing character points in students. In the application of character education, some points are emphasized and this is in line with the services of counseling guidance namely learning, personal, social, and career.
This research examines the relationship between the risk management committee and textual risk disclosure. Textual risk disclosure is measured using the use of a risk-contained tone in the annual ...report. We employed empirical analysis for the Indonesian listed firms for the period 2010 to 2018. The findings of this research suggest that the existence of the risk management committee gives more risk disclosure. This finding implicates that firms with a risk management committee will give more risk disclosure, because they have a specific committee which have abilities concerning firm risk. The first additional analysis suggests that the results are more pronounced for firms within the period after the regulation to have a risk management committee was applied in Indonesia. We also make second additional analysis for different level of technology within industry. The existence of risk management committee for managing risk disclosure is more pronounced for company within high level of technology industry. We provide several contributions to the users of the financial statements such as shareholders and other stakeholders, especially regulatory bodies in Indonesia.
The preparation of bonded magnets is done by mixing the magnetic powder of NdFeB product jet mill with a non-magnetic binder (epoxy resin). Comparison of variation of NdFeB magnetic powder ...composition with a binder (%wt) 97:3, 95:5, 92:8 of total mass 5 grams. After mixing the powder, then compacted with a hydraulic press, using a 1.8 cm diameter mold with a force of 5 tons, with a compaction time of 5 minutes. The pellet samples were characterized by physical and magnetic properties. Characterization of physical properties includes measurement of density, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Characterization of magnetic properties includes measurements of magnetic field strength and magnetic properties characteristics. Measurement of magnetic field strength using Gaussmeter and measurement of characteristic magnetic properties using VSM (Vibrating Sample Magnetometer). The results showed that the optimum physical properties density is the sample with the addition of 3 %wt epoxy resin (density of 5.285 g/cm3) and optimum physical properties compressive strength is the sample with the addition of 8 %wt epoxy resin (compressive strength 10 kgF/cm2) and optimum physical resistance corrosion is the sample with the addition of 3 %wt epoxy resin (with mass change 5,48 gram with time immersion 504 hours). And for the optimum magnetic properties obtained in the test sample with the addition of an epoxy resin binder composition of 3 %wt (magnetic field strength 1029.02 Gauss, remanence 62.21 emu/gram, coercivity 9457 Oe and saturation 101 emu/gram).

When determining the location to reside, individuals have their own ...preferences. One of these residential preferences is to live in an industrial zone. Water pollution occurred in Ciptomulyo Sub-district due to a leather company disposing of its liquid waste into the river in 2014, and its impacts are still felt until now. Moreover, many residential houses are situated very close to industrial areas. The purpose of this research is to recognize the components that influence the residential preferences of the community. The method used for this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings identified ten factors that influence the residential preferences of the community: government facilities, educational facilities, electricity infrastructure, distance to the industrial area, length of residence, occupation, land price affordability, and security. Residential preferences are dominated by proximity to public facilities and ignore environmental health and comfort factors, so that for the sustainability of residential areas, it is necessary to integrate with industrial areas to play an active role in maintaining the potency.
This research explores the legal perspective on intellectual property rights (IPR) cases in technology businesses with a focus on the provisions of Article 25 of the Information and Electronic ...Transactions Law (UU ITE). Article 25 of the ITE Law is the central point in regulating IPR protection in the digital business world in Indonesia. In this context, this research investigates the implementation and impact of Article 25 of the ITE Law on cases of intellectual property rights violations in the era of digital technology. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. This research methodology involves legislative analysis and case studies to identify challenges and opportunities faced by intellectual property rights holders and technology business actors. Using a normative and descriptive legal approach, this research analyzes whether Article 25 of the ITE Law provides adequate protection for intellectual property rights and the extent to which its implementation provides legal certainty for business actors. The research results show that Article 25 of the ITE Law provides a sufficient legal basis for protecting intellectual property rights in technology businesses. However, challenges related to the interpretation and enforcement of Article 25, especially in cases of IPR violations, remain an issue that requires serious attention from policy makers and legal practitioners. This research provides recommendations for improvements and clarifications in the implementation of Article 25 of the ITE Law, as well as the need to increase legal awareness among technology business players to ensure optimal protection of intellectual property rights in this digital era

Companies use disclosure as a strategy to transfer and communicate selected information to stakeholders. This study examines the association between the firm's textual disclosure strategy and cost of ...debt by looking at the tone and readability of Management Discussion and Analysis (MDandA) reports and using a sample of 1596 Indonesian listed companies from all industries except the financial industry, from 2011 to 2018, and using ordinary least square (OLS) regression to test the research hypotheses. The findings suggest that both negative tone and poor readability level are associated positively with the cost of debt. This paper contributes to knowledge of the important aspects firms need to consider when setting their disclosure strategies, mainly how the tone and readability of firms' annual reports may be interpreted by users/creditors and affect the amount they will charge the firm for debt.
To analyse the relationship of knowledge, anxiety and stress with the practice of coronavirus disease-2019 guidelines among nursing students.
The cross-sectional study was conducted in June-July 2020 ...after approval from the ethics review board of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama, Surabaya, Indonesia, and comprised undergraduate nursing students in their second, third and fourth years of studies at various universities in the East Java region. Data was collected using the Depression, Anxiety, Stress Scale-21 questionnaire. Knowledge about coronavirus disease-2019 guidelines was assessed using a self-developed questionnaire in line with World Health Organisation advisory. Data was analysed using SPSS 25.
Of the 227 subjects, 204(90%) were women and 23(10%) were men. The overall mean age was 20.10±1.5888 years. There was no significant association of knowledge, anxiety and stress with the practice of coronavirus disease-2019 guidelines (p>0.05).
Adequate knowledge of coronavirus disease-2019 did not make the nursing students follow the relevant guidelines.
