The AA describe the use of cell cultures for the detection of staphylococcal enterotoxin A. MDCK, MDBK, RK-13, VERO and PEB cell monolayers have been tested. RK and PEB resulted susceptible to ...cytotoxin effect of the enterotoxin. An evident cytopathic effect was observed after 2 hours of incubation
Gli AA descrivono l'impiego delle colture cellulari per evidenziare la presenza di enterotossina stafilococcica di tipo A. Sono stati testati i seguenti monostrati cellulari: MDCK, MDBK, RK-13, VERO e PEB. Sono risultati sensibili all'azione citotossica della enterotossina le linee cellulari RK e PEB, nelle quali e' comparso un evidente effetto citopatico dopo circa 2 ore di incubazione
