The article analyzes a set of species of allergenic and poisonous plants in arid and semiarid biomes of Russia. The species diversity of allergenic and poisonous plants was determined. A statistical ...analysis of the relationships between the number of species of allergenic and poisonous plants in regional biomes and climatic indicators is carried out, the corresponding thematic schematic maps are constructed, and they are analyzed. It is shown that the number of species of allergenic and poisonous plants is related to the total species number in biomes. This, in turn, is determined by the geographic location, which determines the average annual temperature and amount of precipitation in the regions. The closest established relationship is between the number of species of allergenic and poisonous plants and the average annual air temperatures. A relatively high relationship was found between the species number and the average annual precipitation. However, the relationship between the total number of dangerous plant species in the biome and the aridity index turned out to be low.

The aim of the search was to compare the sources of information and evaluate dynamics of changes of the patients doses during x-ray and radionuclide examinations in medical organizations in Moscow ...from 2017 to 2020. Material and methods: Reporting forms № 3-DOZ, № 30 and Radiation-Hygienic Passport for 2017–2020 from Moscow organizations of different forms of ownership were collected and analyzed. The analysis was performed of the main indicators that determine the radiation safety in medical exposure: the number of medical organizations operating sources of ionizing radiation, the equipment of radiation diagnostics, the structure of radiation diagnostics and collective doses from medical exposure. Results: The analysis of trends of the development of radiation diagnostics in Moscow presented in the paper shows that the number of organizations operating ionizing radiation sources is increasing every year; the number of computed tomography scanners is growing by an average of 10% per year, and there is approximately the same increase in the number of computed tomography examinations. Therefore, in 2017-2019 the annual increase in the number of examinations was 10%; it was 30% in 2019–2020, which is associated with the epidemic of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19. The increase in the collective dose from medical exposure corresponds to the increase in the number of X-ray examinations. Comparison of the considered reporting forms and data from the unified X-ray information system shows that all reporting forms have their advantages and disadvantages, which are discussed in detail in the paper. For a comprehensive assessment of the condition of radiation diagnostics, it is necessary to compile data from different statistical reporting forms, which negatively affects the reliability and representativeness of the data. It should be noted that all the considered statistical reporting forms provide no data on individual and accumulated patients doses, as well as standard (typical) doses for the equipment of X-ray and radionuclide diagnostics. The existing procedure of data collection does not allow to receive and analyze the data online. Conclusion: Among the analyzed statistical reporting forms, there is no one that fully provides the tasks of the current assessment of the situation and operational management of public radiation doses. Some of the data in fact duplicate each other, and the existing discrepancies are more likely express difficulties in collecting and summarizing information than differences in reporting forms. Current statistical reporting forms require revision, consolidation, clarification and automation of data collection processes. Further implementation of electronic systems for recording and controlling patients doses, and generation monitoring and reporting systems, as well as interdepartmental interaction systems and the creation of an electronic office of organizations will reduce the rate of non-submission of reporting documentation. That makes it more objective and provides all the data necessary to optimize radiation protection of patients.

The bimetallic alloys often outperform their single-component counterparts due to synergistic effects. Being widely known, the Au-Pd alloy is a promising candidate for the novel heterogeneous ...nanocatalysts. Rational design of such systems requires theoretical simulations under ambient conditions.
quantum-mechanical calculations employ the density functional theory (DFT) and are limited to the systems with few tens of atoms and short timescales. The alternative solution implies development of reliable atomistic potentials. Among different approaches ReaxFF combines chemical accuracy and low computational costs. However, the development of a new potential is a problem without unique solution and thus requires accurate validation criteria. In this work we construct ReaxFF potential for the Au-Pd system based on
DFT calculations for bulk structures, slabs and nanoparticles with different stoichiometry. The validation was performed with molecular dynamics and Monte-Carlo calculations. We present several optimal parametrizations that describe experimental bulk mechanical and thermal properties, atomic order-disorder phase transition temperatures and the resulting ordered crystal structures.
The variability of the nucleotide sequences of the fragment of the COI gene of the female genome was studied in four phenotypic groups of the Black Sea mollusk
Mytilus galloprovincialis
. It was ...shown that the parameters of genomic diversity (the number of haplotypes, haplotypic and nucleotide diversity, and the number of nucleotide substitutions, including pairwise ones) in mussels with dark shell color are significantly higher than in individuals with light color phenotypes. The revealed differences are related to the peculiarities of ecological preferences of mussels with dark and light shells.

A colloidal solution of gold nanoparticles is synthesized with the use of sodium tetrachloroaurate(III) as a precursor, oleylamine as a reducer and surfactant, and 1-octadecene as a solvent. Reaction ...stages are analyzed
in situ
by optical (UV-vis) absorption spectroscopy with a simultaneous analysis of particle sizes by dynamic light scattering and X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy for the analysis of the gold oxidation state. After the synthesis the size of obtained nanoparticles is determined by transmission electron microscopy. The analysis of the obtained experimental data reveals the presence of three main steps in the reduction reaction mechanism, corresponding to Au

The aim
of the article is to evaluate Bischofit gel reparative activity in a linear wound model in rats.
Materials and Methods.
The study was conducted on 36 male Wistar rats weighing from 193 to 218 ...grams. On the 8th day after modeling a linear wound defect 50±1 mm long, the reparative effect of bischofite, Actovegin and Contractubex in the gel compositions was evaluated. The evaluation was carried out using: the following methods: 1) studying the physicomechanical characteristics of the wound defect (a wound-tearing machine Metrotest REM-0.2-1); 2) morphological examination of the skin graft taken from the wound area (stained with hematoxylin-eosin and Van Gieson‘s solution); 3) determining the ratio of collagen types I and III in a polarizing microscope (the picrosirius was red); 4) cоlorimetric analysis of the hydroxyproline concentration in the wound surface tissues.
Results.
On the 8th day, the wound defects sampled from the bischofite treated animals, were characterized by the most pronounced strength (the average force at the rupture moment was 13.70 N), which was significantly higher (p<0.01) than in the control group (11.76 N). Actovegin showed less influence on this parameter (12.60 N), and the use of Contractubex led to its decrease (8.10 N). The effect of the drugs on the morphological state of the skin tissue was similar. The hydroxyproline concentration in the studied groups’ samples was: Bischofit 13.23±1.68; Actovegin 15.89±1.37; Contractubex 17.61 ± 0.67; the Control was 16.59±1.08. According to the impact on the ratio of collagen in types I and III, the studied drugs were arranged in the following sequence: Bishofit (0.73±0.023) > Actovegin (0.67±0.017) > Control (0.56±0.012) > Contractubex (0.38 ±0.020).
Conclusion.
The carried out study showed that Bischofit has a pronounced ability to stimulate the regeneration of the skin wound defect. Hereby, the reference drug Actovegin showed less activity, and Contractubex worsened wound healing.
An ecological and geographical analysis of the distribution of poisonous plants in the regional biomes of Russia and the effect of arid conditions on it are presented. On the territory of Russia, 82 ...of the most toxic species of vascular plants (belonging to 34 families) were identified; of them, 55 were poisonous species of the genus
Aconitum
. Cartographic analysis demonstrated that the smallest number of poisonous plant species (excluding species of the genus
Aconitum
) is confined to the plain biomes of the forest-tundra and tundra, and the largest number of such species grows in lowland steppe biomes. In the lowland desert biome and in some mountain biomes, the number of poisonous plant species is also significant but is slightly lower than in the steppe biomes. The maximal number of species of the genus
Aconitum
was detected in the mountainous Far Eastern biomes. Correlation analysis of the relationship between the number of plant species and climatic factors revealed the maximal correlation between the total number of poisonous plant species (excluding species of the genus
Aconitum
) with the average annual air temperature.

The article presents the image of the testing area for the through-transition method with an acoustic array. Using linear acoustic array in through-transition method, a set of data from different ...angles is obtained. Using this data set and the back projection method, the test area imaging is obtained, which is represented by a set of small local areas. The number of initial projections passing through each local area is calculated. Furthermore, the density function is determined and the resulting function, that is encoded whether in color or grayscale, is displayed on the monitor screen.
