The Internet Centric Network (ICN) provides architectures to meet this ...requirement. The Content Centric Network (CCN) is the most widely used ICN architecture. Information Centric Network's ability to perform in-network caching lead to faster retrieval of data on subsequent request. Although latency is solved, caching in a router makes it vulnerable to attacks that focus on the cache. One such attack is content poisoning, that will fill the router with poisoned content making the end user difficult to retrieve original valid data. In this paper, we propose a solution to mitigate content poisoning attack that will consume minimum time and require minimal storage overhead during the verification process.
Road accidents are one of the leading causes of mortality. While most accidents merely affect the exterior of the cars of the drivers involved, some of them have led to serious and fatal injuries. It ...is imperative that the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are given as much information about the crash site as possible before their arrival at the scene. In this paper, a mobile phone application is developed that, when placed inside a car, intelligently classifies the type of accident it is involved in and notifies the EMS team of this classification along with the car's GPS location. The classification mechanism is built through a collection of data sets from a simulation of three types of collisions, which creates a knowledge base for an artificial intelligence-based classifier software. The experimental setup for data collection and the functionality of the mobile phone application called 'Crash Detect' are explored.
The critically endangered West Pacific Ocean subpopulation of the leatherback turtles has faced a significant population decline in the past decades. One of the reasons for this is the loss of ...nesting habitats in the region. In this pilot study, turtle nesting habitats are remotely monitored employing satellite imageries. This methodology has been used to investigate the extent of habitat loss in the Kamiali wildlife management area along the Huon coast in Papua New Guinea which serves as a major hotspot for the leatherback turtles. Moreover, the conservation of this turtle species is increasingly at risk due to the intensification of community-level conflicts and paucity of donors; data collection endeavors along the Huon coast have been halted since 2014. Using Landsat 8 satellite images for the period 2013 to 2019, a 22.44 % (0.179 km2) decrease in sandy beach areas is noticable, resulting primarily from shrubs-mixed vegetation expansion and coastal squeeze following erosion. The research results highlight the urgency to revamp turtle conservation and data collection initiatives and emphasize the key role remote sensing can play in turtle habitat monitoring, particularly in areas experiencing a conflict of conservational interests. Based on the observations, the study propose four urgent technology-oriented measures - (i) revamping data collection strategies, (ii) developing turtle nesting sensitivity maps, (iii) surveying nesting habitats using drones, and (iv) investigating the influence of logging activities - to enhance leatherback turtle conservation efforts in the Kamiali region, that are expected to have wider applications across the globe especially in the West Pacific and to other sea turtle species.

Background:
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is the most comprehensive set of standards promoting and protecting children’s interests. It can be utilized to create ...appropriate policies and legislation that enshrine the values identified in the UNCRC. In India, children have been considered only in the context of their family and were welfare recipients in the past, but more legislation has been enacted to protect and promote the child’s rights. A comparative review will help identify how the new legislation enacted after India ratified the UNCRC directly or indirectly addressed children’s mental health.
Methodology:
Legislation enacted after 1992 with the search term “child” was identified in the Indian national portal for legislation. These were compared against specific articles of the UNCRC identified to have a direct or indirect bearing on children’s mental health.
Results:
The review revealed that only 11 of the 32 legislation enacted after 1992 address different aspects of children’s mental health. Only three refer to the UNCRC in their preamble or content. Six of the 11 legislation addressed Article 24, while Article 32 and Article 34 were addressed in only one legislation each. Notably, most of the legislation is focused on child protection, while very few address the participation component of the guiding principles.
Discussion:
The UNCRC is a valuable guide to creating a legal framework to support child rights. This review highlights the need to consider children’s mental health as a fundamental right and incorporate the principles into future Indian legislation.

Dental caries is a preventable, infectious disease that forms a significant portion of daily dental practice. Caries occurs due to an imbalance in demineralization and remineralization process ...resulting in mineral loss over a period of time. Detecting and recording carious lesions is an essential component of the dental hygiene process. Dental caries present with a wide range of clinical features affecting all age groups and all surfaces of teeth. The first attempt in classifying dental caries was by G.V Black. With the advancements in preventive strategies, various classification systems have been proposed to classify dental caries by limiting the cavity size and retaining a maximum natural tooth structure. All classification systems must be simple, reliable, comprehensive, and validated. It is important to classify to aid communication, outcome, diagnosis, and treatment plan. The purpose of this article is aimed to overview the classifications of dental caries with their respective strengths and demerits.
Background and Purpose
Activators of Kv11.1 (hERG) channels have potential utility in the treatment of acquired and congenital long QT (LQT) syndrome. Here, we describe a new hERG channel activator, ...5‐(((1H–indazol‐5‐yl)oxy)methyl)‐N‐(4‐(trifluoromethoxy)phenyl)pyrimidin‐2‐amine (ITP‐2), with a chemical structure distinct from previously reported compounds.
Experimental Approach
Conventional electrophysiological methods were used to assess the effects of ITP‐2 on hERG1a and hERG1a/1b channels expressed heterologously in HEK‐293 cells.
Key Results
ITP‐2 selectively increased test pulse currents (EC50 1.0 μM) and decreased tail currents. ITP‐2 activated hERG1a homomeric channels primarily by causing large depolarizing shifts in the midpoint of voltage‐dependent inactivation and hyperpolarizing shifts in the voltage‐dependence of activation. In addition, ITP‐2 slowed rates of inactivation and made recovery from inactivation faster. hERG1a/1b heteromeric channels showed reduced sensitivity to ITP‐2 and their inactivation properties were differentially modulated. Effects on midpoint of voltage‐dependent inactivation and rates of inactivation were less pronounced for hERG1a/1b channels. Effects on voltage‐dependent activation and activation kinetics were not different from hERG1a channels. Interestingly, hERG1b channels were inhibited by ITP‐2. Inactivation‐impairing mutations abolished activation by ITP‐2 and led to inhibition of hERG channels. ITP‐2 exerted agonistic effect from extracellular side of the membrane and could activate one of the arrhythmia‐associated trafficking‐deficient LQT2 mutants.
Conclusions and Implications
ITP‐2 may serve as another novel lead molecule for designing robust activators of hERG channels. hERG1a/1b gating kinetics were differentially modulated by ITP‐2 leading to altered sensitivity. ITP‐2 is capable of activating an LQT2 mutant and may be potentially useful in the development of LQT2 therapeutics.

Sunscreens are essential in protecting the skin from harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation (UVR). These formulations, designed to absorb, block, or scatter UVR, offer vital protection against skin ...aging, sunburns, and the development of skin cancers like melanomas. However, some sunscreens, especially those containing organic/chemical compounds, can cause allergic reactions. To address this, researchers are extensively investigating formulations that incorporate plant extracts rich in polyphenols, such as flavonoids and carotenoids, which can be considered safer alternatives. Products derived from plants are commonly used in cosmetics to counteract skin aging due to their antioxidant activity that combat harmful free radicals. This review focuses on evaluating the advancements in chemical and natural sunscreens, exploring the integration of polyphenolic nanocarriers within sunscreen formulas, their interaction with UVR, and utilizing nanotechnology to enhance their effectiveness. An attempt has been made to highlight the concerns related to toxicity associated with their use and notable advancements in the regulatory aspects governing their utilization.
