This research aims to confirm the reliability of agency theory as an approach to explaining the impact of CEO narcissism, corporate governance as represented by boards of size and female directors, ...financial distress, and company size on corporate tax avoidance. In this quantitative study, companies trading on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2017-2021 serve as the population and the research samples. This study uses panel data to integrate concepts, theories, and data on research variables in the investigation of ordinary least squares, random effects, and fixed effects with Stata software. Principals can use panel data-based research with testing to choose agents to run the business. Analyzing panel data is one way to test research that gives more accurate results. According to the first finding, CEO narcissism has a negative impact on corporate tax avoidance; the second finding, the board size had a positive impact on this strategy; the third finding, female directors had a positive impact on this strategy; the fourth finding is that financial distress does not affect this strategy; and on the fifth finding, the company size, the less likely its leaders are to engage in corporate tax avoidance strategies. The results of this study support agency theory in finding empirical evidence about the influence of CEO narcissism, corporate governance, financial distress, and company size on corporate tax avoidance with limitations on sampling in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the LQ 45 category.
This research proves the consistency of Agency Theory as a solution to explain the role of the influence of profitability, board size, woman on board, which is divided into two, namely woman on board ...of commissioner and woman on board of directors, as well as political connections to financial distress. Panel data from these variables were obtained from companies listed in LQ-45 in 2017-2021 which were then analyzed with a quantitative approach through the regression analysis of Ordinary Least Squares, Fixed Effects, Random Effects, and Robust, which was carried out simultaneously. The results of this analysis have a higher level of accuracy compared to partial testing. The first finding explains that the Profitability Ratio has a negative effect on financial distress, the second finding explains that board size has a positive effect on financial distress, the third finding explains that woman on board of commissioner has no effects on financial distress, however, the fourth finding explains that woman on board of director has a positive effect on financial distress, while the fifth finding explains the political connection has no positive effect to financial distress. Panel data-based research through simultaneous testing can be considered for principals in appointing agents to manage the company. Simultaneous analysis of panel data is a new breakthrough in research testing with more detailed results.
Several models have been developed to predict financial difficulties and corporate bankruptcy. In this research various models were employed, including the Altman model (referred to as the Z-Score), ...the Springate model (known as the S-Score), the Zmijewski model (designated as the X-Score), and the Grover model (referred to as the G-Score). These techniques serve the purpose of evaluating the likelihood of encountering financial difficulties, which in turn determines the probability of PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk going bankrupt. The study utilized secondary data sourced from financial statements spanning the years from 2020 to 2022. The application of the Altman model for bankruptcy prediction revealed that PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero), Tbk experienced financial distress throughout the period from 2020 to 2022. According to the Springate model, the company was in a state of distress and declared bankruptcy in 2020 and 2022, while 2021 fell into a grey area. The Zmijewski model indicated that the company was on the brink of bankruptcy, with financial difficulties and a potential risk of bankruptcy within the next three years. Grover's model predicted bankruptcy for the company in 2020 and 2022, but indicated safety in 2021. Notably, the Taffler model emerged as the most accurate in forecasting bankruptcy, boasting a 100% accuracy rate with no errors. Meanwhile, the Zmijewski model achieved an 81.25% accuracy rate with an error rate of 18.75%, and the Springate model exhibited the lowest accuracy in bankruptcy prediction, scoring only 12.50% accuracy with an error rate of 87.50%.
This research delves into the intricate dynamics of sustainable financial performance, driven by the interplay between Sustainable Management Control Systems (SMCS) and Eco-Innovation. Additionally, ...it evaluates the pivotal mediating roles of Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Digital Adaptability within this relationship, specifically within the context of Indonesian companies. Employing a survey methodology via carefully designed questionnaires, responses were collected from managerial representatives of the companies. The results underscore the significance of most hypotheses, revealing a notable influence of SMCS and eco-innovation on sustainable financial performance. However, some hypotheses regarding the mediating role of SCM and digital adaptability exhibit mixed outcomes. These findings emphasize the essential roles of SCM and digital adaptability in amplifying the effects of SMCS and eco-innovation on sustainable financial performance. Nevertheless, the intricate interdependencies suggest the presence of other influential factors affecting the relationship between digital adaptability and sustainable financial performance, warranting further exploration. The study's limitations include its focus on Indonesian organizations, reliance on self-reported data with response bias potential, cross-sectional design lacking causality establishment, and unexplored alternative mediating variables. This study enriches managerial decision-making and contributes valuable insights to sustainability management, especially in Indonesia, opening new avenues for academic research and inquiry.

This study aims to examine and provide empirical evidence of the impact of client size and industry specialization on audit quality and the effect of audit quality on audit fees, reputation, and ...litigation both on audit-detecting misstatement quality and audit-reporting misstatement quality-analyzed based on client factors. This paper utilizes the perspective regulatory theory and signaling theory and is based on quantitative-causality research conducted by the survey method. Technique sampling is performed by purposive sampling. The results indicate that client size had a significant positive effect on the audit quality-detecting misstatement but does not have any impact on the audit quality-reporting misstatements whereas industry specialization auditors have no effect on the audit quality-detecting misstatement but have a significant effect on the audit quality-reporting misstatements. Clients may opt for the auditor that charges lower fees but can provide a positive signal for stakeholders or choose an auditor that is registered with BPK or OJK because such audit firms are more acceptable by stakeholders. Multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test were used as the classical assumption test. Eviews 9 software with panel data regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Environmental Costs have a negative effect on Company Value, Environmental Disclosure has no effects on Company Value, Environmental Performance has no effects on Company Value, Environmental Costs have negative effects on Value Companies with an Independent Board of Commissioners as Moderation, Environmental Disclosure has no effect on Company Value with an Independent Board of Commissioners as Moderation, and Environmental Performance has no effects on Company Value with an Independent Board of Commissioners as Moderation.

In analyzing the data, this study used a test tool of ordinary least square (OLS) analysis and moderation regression analysis (MRA). The result of this research indicates that fair value non-current asset influence audit fee and this research show that the political connection can’t moderate of fair value non-current asset toward audit fee. The results of research and data analysis show that: Government Policy in the Audit Sector directly has a positive and significant effect on the smoothness of the Supply Chain; Financial Audit Infrastructure directly has a positive and significant effect on the smooth running of the Supply Chain; Government Policy in the Audit Sector directly has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Compliance; The government's Financial Audit Infrastructure directly has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Compliance; The smoothness of the Supply Chain directly has a positive and significant effect on Financial Management Compliance in Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Serang City Government, Banten Province, Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to measure the efficiency and stability of zakat institutions in Indonesia and Malaysia. There are 14 zakat institutions that will be analyzed using data envelopment ...analysis (DEA) window analysis during the period of 2016 to 2020. The result shows that the average efficiency of zakat institution is 78% during the observation period. The inefficiency of zakat institutions from both countries is caused by the less-than-optimal distribution of zakat funds. The best performing zakat institutions are Selangor, BSMU, BRI Foundation, and Baznas because they have the highest efficiency and stability. This study has filled the gap in previous studies that measure the efficiency of zakat institutions with the standard DEA approach. Zakat institution managers can identify potential improvements in input and output variables to achieve maximum level of efficiency.

This study aims to examine the effect of firm size, board of commissioners size, and CEO gender on external auditor fees with audit quality as a mediating variable in banking companies. This study ...uses secondary data from the annual reports of all banking companies. The sample of this study consisted of 15 banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2019 using the purposive sampling method as the research method and using multiple linear regression analysis models and Sobel tests. The results show that the size of the company and the size of the board of commissioners and audit quality partially have a significant effect on external audit fees, and company size on audit fees with audit quality as a mediating variable.
