Electric vehicle (EV) users’ driving requirement is restricted by the long charging period and high cost. In this paper, a hierarchical transactive power exchange method on expressways is proposed to ...eliminate range anxiety faced by EV users and further reduce their cost. When EVs are driven on expressways, battery swapping is considered the suitable power exchange mode due to high efficiency and adjustability. EVs are scheduled to supplement energy in battery swapping stations (BSSs) according to the remaining energy and battery swapping cost. Then, the power exchange among batteries and the power grid in BSSs is optimized for reducing the operation cost. In the optimization process, battery-to-battery and battery-to-grid modes are considered for reducing the power cost in the high electric price period. Some EVs release battery energy in designated BSSs and supplement energy in other BSSs. It reduces fast charging power of the battery and operation costs in designated BSSs. Several case studies are presented to validate the effectiveness and economy of the proposed method.
This letter reports a novel concept of vertical stacked-spiral RF inductor with integrated nano-powder-magnetic-core in standard CMOS. A proof-of-concept design in a foundry 0.18 6-metal CMOS using a ...new post-CMOS backend process (CMOS+) is depicted. Measurement shows significant improvement in inductance of 35% and quality factor of 41% up to multi-GHz in prototype. An -density of 420 at 1.2 GHz is achieved. Limiting factors for the relatively low factor in the prototypes and improvement method are discussed.
Authorized content is a type of content that can be generated only by a certain Content Provider (CP). The content copies delivered to a user may bring rewards to the CP if the content is adopted by ...the user. The overall reward obtained by the CP depends on the user’s degree of interest in the content and the user’s role in disseminating the content copies. Thus, to maximize the reward, the content provider is motivated to disseminate the authorized content to the most interested users. In this paper, we study how to effectively disseminate the authorized content in Interest-centric Opportunistic Social Networks (IOSNs) such that the reward is maximized. We first derive Social Connection Pattern (SCP) data to handle the challenging opportunistic connections in IOSNs and statistically analyze the interest distribution of the users contacted or connected. The SCP is used to predict the interests of possible contactors and connectors. Then, we propose our SCP-based Dissemination (SCPD) algorithm to calculate the optimum number of content copies to disseminate when two users meet. Our dataset based simulation shows that our SCPD algorithm is effective and efficient to disseminate the authorized content in IOSNs.
A single-arm helical antenna with the width of the arm varying periodically for a circularly polarised (CP) tilted beam is introduced. The proposed antenna radiates a CP tilted beam, when the ...following two conditions are met: (i) the circumference of the proposed antenna is >4λ0/3 (λ0 is the wavelength in free space at the centre frequency) and (ii) the width of the arm varies periodically. The designed procedure reveals that the maximum radiation direction of the tilted beam is not sensitive to a change in frequency. The simulated and measured results show that the designed antenna radiates a CP tilted beam with θmax = 32°. The measured 10 dB return loss bandwidth is 12.8% from 2.33 to 2.65 GHz, and the experimental results of the radiation pattern, gain and axial ratio are also presented.

Objective
To observe the clinical efficacy of ‘Tong Du Yun Pi’ (Governor Vessel-unblocking and spleen-promoting) manipulation in treating infantile diarrhea in autumn.
Methods
Eighty-four kids were ...divided into a control group and an observation group using the random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was intervened by oral administration of montmorillonite powder, and the observation group was given additional ‘Tong Du Yun Pi’ pediatric massage (tuina) treatment. After treatment, the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) symptoms scores, symptom improvement time, clinical efficacy and immune function indicators were compared between the two groups.
Results
After treatment, the total effective rate was 95.2% in the observation group versus 76.2% in the control group, and the between-group difference was statistically significant (
P
<0.05); each item score in TCM symptoms was notably lower in the observation group than in the control group (all
P
<0.05); among the effective cases, the times to restore normal defecation, relieve abdominal bloating, arrest vomiting, and bring down the fever were markedly shorter in the observation group than in the control group, and the between-group differences were statistically significant (all
P
<0.05); the levels of immunoglobulin (Ig) G, IgM, CD4
+
and CD4
+
/CD8
+
were significantly higher and CD8
+
was significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group (all
P
<0.05).
Conclusion
In the treatment of infantile diarrhea in autumn, based on oral administration of montmorillonite powder, ‘Tong Du Yun Pi’ manipulation can notably improve diarrheal symptoms, shorten disease duration, and strengthen the immunity of kids, producing more significant efficacy than oral administration of montmorillonite powder.

Abstract Objective The aim of this study was to induce a rat model of oral submucous fibrosis (OSF) using bleomycin. Study Design A randomized trial was performed. Bleomycin dilution or ...phosphate-buffered saline were injected into the buccal mucosa of the test and control rats, respectively, daily for 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks. Changes in histopathological features, myofibroblasts, ultrastructure, and the levels of collagen typeⅠand Ⅲ, transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) were measured. Results Compared with controls, the buccal mucosa of the test rats appeared pale and stiff. There was collagen deposition in the laminae propria. Type I and type III collagen increased steadily, TGF-β1increased and then decreased, and IFN-γ was gradually reduced. The ultrastructure was also similar to OSF. Conclusion Using bleomycin, we induced a rat model of OSF that is very similar to human OSF in clinical manifestations, pathology, and ultrastructural changes.

The electrical property of thin-layer black phosphorus (BP) was explored using a simple dry transfer method, which greatly reduced the fabrication time to carry out electrical measurement starting ...from an initial state with little degradation. As a result, the as-prepared BP field-effect transistor (FET) exhibited a high on/off ratio exceeding 104 and a high hole mobility of 380 cm2/(V·s). The time-dependent electrical property of BP indicated a declining and recovering process, caused by the degradation and doping effect. Finally, it was demonstrated that the degradation and large hysteresis of BP FET could be modified by covering a thin Al2O3 layer.
As a self-supervised learning method, the graph contrastive learning achieve admirable performance in graph pre-training tasks, and can be fine-tuned for multiple downstream tasks such as protein ...structure prediction, social recommendation, etc. One prerequisite for graph contrastive learning is the support of huge graphs in the training procedure. However, the graph data nowadays are distributed in various devices and hold by different owners, like those smart devices in Internet of Things. Considering the non-negligible consumptions on computing, storage, communication, data privacy and other issues, these devices often prefer to keep data locally, which significantly reduces the graph contrastive learning performance. In this paper, we propose a novel federal graph contrastive learning framework. First, it is able to update node embeddings during training by means of a federation method, allowing the local GCL to acquire anchors with richer information. Second, we design a Self-adaptive Cluster-based server strategy to select the optimal embedding update scheme, which maximizes the richness of the embedding information while avoiding the interference of noise. Generally, our method can build anchors with richer information through a federated learning approach, thus alleviating the performance degradation of graph contrastive learning due to distributed storage. Extensive analysis and experimental results demonstrate the superiority of our framework.
In this paper, we describe an automated microfluidic flow loop analyzer toward an in-situ phosphate measurement in natural waters. The system consists of a microfluidic chip and a setup for driving ...and detecting which form a microfluidic flow loop analyzer with one peristaltic micropump, seven microvalves, three inlets, one outlet and a loop channel which connects them together. The loop channel functions as a mixer, and the mixing process can be monitored continuously. Three reagents can be injected into the water sample at any time. The reagent consumption is 6 μL per sample for one measurement of the phosphate concentration, which would increase the in-situ usage time greatly because of the limited reagents. The analyzer is small, and its power consumption is low (343 mW), which increase the potential of the analyzer for monitoring phosphate in situ. The analyzer has been calibrated, and its performance has been quantified. Because of the continuous monitoring function of the microflow loop, we increase sample throughput to 10 samples per hour. The phosphate concentrations of the water samples have been measured using both normal method and rapid method we proposed. The results show there are no significant differences between our analyzer and reference procedures.
