Innovations are the key to the long-term survival, growth, and development of any organization. For that reason, all organizations strive to have as much as possible successful innovations that ...consequently bring many positive effects to the entire economy. This paper points out the importance and role of engaged employees who take a leading role in organizational innovations. Engaged employees give their best effort during the performance of work tasks, try to create new, better ways to perform certain activities through cooperation and exchange of knowledge with colleagues, and try to improve the functioning of the entire organization. With their enthusiasm, perseverance, persistence, and sincere desire to give their contribution to the business of the organization, engaged employees are the important source of creativity and innovation in the workplace. At the organizational level, a significant role in the innovation process has the proposals of engaged employees who truly love their job, the organization in which they work and have the desire to dedicate themselves to additional innovative activities that are not in their job descriptions.
Revenues generated by football clubs belonging to one of the socalled "The Big Five" leagues (England, Germany, Spain, Italy and France) give a strong argument by claiming that modern football has ...become a very organized, but also profitable business. In the football clubs of the mentioned European countries, the most famous players of today are "super heroes" and they are the reason why massive numbers of football fans visit football stadiums. All players, who today identify themselves as elite athletes, were at the beginning of their sports careers merely talented individuals with more or less pronounced psycho-physical predispositions for playing sports. This paper will present the basic characteristics of the profession of professional scouts as one of the key persons in recognizing talents and their transformation into top athletes. Also, the paper emphasizes the necessary skills that these sports experts should possess, but also points out the importance of decisionmaking in terms of often difficult and complicated decisions in the process of identifying talented individuals in sports.
Završetak sportske karijere je neminovna, ali i vrlo delikatna faza u životu svakog sportiste. Razvoj dalje karijere, nakon završetka profesionalnog bavljenja sportom, podrazumeva analizu faktora iz ...mikro i makro okruženja koji utiču na raspoložive mogućnosti. Razlozi i uzroci završetka sportske karijere su različiti i mogu biti psihološki (nedostatak motivacije), zdravstveni (povrede), finansijski, kulturološki, socijalni, porodični i drugi. Ovaj rad ima za cilj da prikaže ključne faktore koji utiču na proces završetka sportske karijere, kao i da analizira ulogu sportskog sistema i države u prelomnom životnom trenutku za svakog sportistu.
Banking industry competitiveness could be observed through separation of results achieved by banks in state ownership on one side, and banks mostly in ownership of foreign legal entities (i.e. ...foreign banks) on other side, as well as through the prism of achieved results. Foreign banks are advancers in Serbian banking industry in achieved results in domain of profitability and liquidity. Banks, which are in majority ownership of state and banks in which state is the largest individual shareholder, showed extremely low level of competitiveness and high level of exposure to systemic risk. Polarization on successful and unsuccessful banks, as well as general liquidity are problems that Serbian economy is faced with, intend emergency for analyzing potential effects of Basel III standards on liquidity and competitiveness of Serbian banking industry. Challenges in segment of creation of favorable investment environment for foreign investors and introduction of Basel III standards, as response on unexpected financial shocks, represent key determinant for banking industry prospective development on which underlie competitive advantage of financial industry in comparison with other industries in economy.

Tradition of beer industry in Slovakia takes origin in 19th century, when production of beer primarily appeared in this country. Slovaks love beer, which is confrmed by gradually increasing number of ...beer producing facilities. Production of beer has signifcant impact on development of Slovak economy, direct foreign investments, creation of new jobs, technology modernization etc. There are also many significant multinational corporations operating in Slovakia such as Heineken International, Topvar, Steiner and others. Signifcant revolution is going on also in the sector of small independent craft breweries in Slovakia. The objective of this paper is to emphasize the importance and impact of beer industry on Slovakian economy and to analyze advantages and disadvantages of the sector in this area.
