Based on the evaluation of data from agricultural operations of 60 enterprises in the period 2012-2016 on 339 516 ha, frequent increases in nutrient dosages for production are mainly in marginal ...areas where higher production than is equivalent to optimal production on the soil is required. In the production of crops, it is most manifest in the production of feed crops, which are often used for the continuous flow of livestock production and biogas stations. Because of the above-standard utilization of fertilizers, yields rise above the level corresponding to the standard conditions for soil-climatic conditions, but also to decrease the efficiency of fertilizer utilization and thus to overload the optimal soil productivity. In contrast, the standard use of fertilizers is reflected in winter wheat, grain corn, triticale, potatoes and rye. Because of the lower strength of the humus horizon in marginal areas, it can be assumed that by increased fertilization, the agricultural enterprises solve the lower sorption capacity of the soil. The overall finding is also a warning to the occupation of quality land for non-agricultural purposes because their intensification cannot be transferred into marginal areas with no environmental impact.
Assessment of land depends on the production function of soil and additional connections given by environmental requirements, by the evaluation of public goods or by the requirements for formation a ...fair tax policy and even by the interests of landowners. Analysis of coherences during the soil appraisal shows a relatively strong dependence on the development of year-by-year yields and cost including subsidy policy, which is strongly reflected in the grasslands. Development of subsidies does not basically influence a long-term return and costs ratio for the production on arable land. The requirements for formation of prices are given due to the need for stability of the mutual relations between the quality of soil and climatic conditions, which manifests itself mainly in land consolidation or the categorization, useful for example for the determination of LFA. The comprehensive solution provides a system of land evaluation by cost-revenue relationships, which includes evaluation of environmental context on the base of the assessment of physical characteristics of soil and economic contexts in BPEJ categorization. The development of value system relations according to the proposed annual gross rental effects (HRRE) shows a relatively stable assessment of land fund for arable land. The adjusted system of land value permits preferably to express a pointed value of land, which corresponds to the trend of a points system of VÚMOP. The actual current rating BPEJ is proposed to make in dependence on the level of market prices to a one point. Due to the different trends in the market prices of arable land and grassland is proposed to introduce a separate assessment of arable land and grassland. PUBLICATION ABSTRACT

The recent implementation of the CAP Single Area Payments in the EU New Member States raises the question of whether a quick capitalisation of these payments is expected. Capitalisation of public ...support to agriculture into land prices indicates that the benefits are partly transferred toward landowners rather than toward producers. This distributional aspect is of particular importance in countries where a large proportion of land is farmed by producers who do not own this land. This study investigates the influence of several types of support on Czech agricultural land prices from private transactions between 1995–2001. The past period direct payments have been capitalised at the strongest rate, despite their low level and imperfections on the land market, suggesting that such support is most easily transferred to land values. A continuing capitalisation might threaten the farming activity, as farms are almost only tenanted. And because most of the landowners live in towns, there is a risk of an extreme leakage of support not only outside the farming sector, but also outside the rural sector.

The goal of designed methodology is the development of a procedure assessment of the relationship of soil-climatic conditions based on the BPEJ (Soil Ecology Bonity Units) in the new conditions after ...transformation to the market economy. Base is given by evaluation of land fertility factors according to the complex assessment of climatic, technology and environmental factors which enables a stabile, scientifically justified valuation of agricultural land on the corresponding level of environmental protection. Priority is given to the balance of nitrogen, humus, soil compaction depending on soil texture and sorption complex regard to the changing climate conditions. Pieces of land in main land conditions in the Czech Republic were chosen, they represent three quarters of arable land and they which will be observed till 2010. Data since 2002 are available.
Multifunctionality is one way to reconcile agriculture with sustainable development: agriculture, beyond the production of food and fibre, also provides important social, environmental and economic ...functions to society. In general, much of the current literature on agricultural multifunctionality is qualitative and narrative, and focuses on demonstrating the existence of social and/or environmental functions. In this chapter, we start with the existence of these multiple functions and we seek to measure the relationships between them through the design of indicators of multifunctionality. We present a structured sequential framework to guide the development of multifunctionality indicators based on the concept of joint production. The three stages articulated in this framework are: Identification of jointness. Qualitative assessment of jointness. Quantitative assessment of jointness.
Using data from empirical evidence suggests that multifunctionality in agriculture is far from being negligible.

Valuation of agricultural land fund through the agricultural comparative number is founded on the land productivity on ground of cost-profit relation, expressed in point scale of 6-100. In the ...further procedure relations are modified through the indicators which restrict land use and the indicators with influence on the economies of agricultural enterprises. Agricultural comparative number (ACN) has been used first of all as the basis for subsidy system in agriculture. The system will be created in two steps, when the first step will be rating ACN on the level of the cadaster or municipality and the second step will be using it as basis for acknowledgement of subsidies on the level of enterprises.
This paper is related to the history and actual situation of land evaluation. It is possible to use two evaluation systems - directly calculated land price with the help of cost-profit relations for ...bonity soil-ecological units (BPEJ), and indirectly calculated price using preparatory point clasiffication systems and secondary evaluation of the point. It is recommended to use the point clasiffication system on the base of cost-profit relations and further precision for the relevant piece of land by the coefficient system. Relations to the point system should be stable for a long time period. Evaluation of one point should be based on cost-profit relations, land market information or result of enterprise efficiency.
The contribution is based on the analysis of production costs in dependence on land form and area. Changes of the production costs in plant production for basic plants are calculated in dependence on ...the analysis of the middle ride length for basic 17 types of land form in 5 groups. All these changes are given in the form of percentage to oblong with sides ratio 1:3. Overall dependence of land form and area is based on the ratio of plants represented in the global model of plant production in the Czech Republic. The function of dependence of production costs percentage on the land form and area is defined with non-linear regression analysis.
