Abstract
The strategy for improving the productivity of fruit and vegetables in Indonesia can be done through modification of the existing cultivation system by adding certain component of healthy ...practice farming. One of the approaches for achieving that aim is through the usage of endophytes in cultivation system. The identified mechanisms of endophytic microbes are that the stimulant produced by them is able to suppress diseases and pests that pose a significant threat for plants. Moreover, endophytic microbes are also capable of producing antimicrobial compounds and bio stimulating compounds such as phytohormones and proteins. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of endophytic bacteria isolates that were taken from collection of Indonesian Citrus and Subtropic Fruits Research Institute in producing IAA hormone, phosphate solvent and nitrogen fixing. The research consisted of several stages; testing for Free Nitrogen Binding Bacteria; Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria and in Producing IAA. The results showed the three endophytic bacterial isolates isolated from different citrus varieties had the ability to fix free nitrogen. G.28-isolates and G.35_isolates had identical ability to dissolve phosphate, while G.31-isolates could not dissolve phosphate. The most effective time to produce IAA is the fourth day of incubation. G.35-isolates was the bacterial isolate that had the highest IAA production.
Single-step Coulomb excitation of 46,48,49,50Ti is presented. A complete set of E2 matrix elements for the quintuplet of states in 49Ti, centred on the 2+ core excitation, was measured for the first ...time. A total of nine E2 matrix elements are reported, four of which were previously unknown. 2249Ti27 shows a 20% quenching in electric quadrupole transition strength as compared to its semi-magic 2250Ti28 neighbour. This 20% quenching, while empirically unprecedented, can be explained with a remarkably simple two-state mixing model, which is also consistent with other ground-state properties such as the magnetic dipole moment and electric quadrupole moment. A connection to nucleon transfer data and the quenching of single-particle strength is also demonstrated. The simplicity of the 49Ti-50Ti pair (i.e., approximate single-j0f7/2 valence space and isolation of yrast states from non-yrast states) provides a unique opportunity to disentangle otherwise competing effects in the ground-state properties of atomic nuclei, the emergence of collectivity, and the role of proton-neutron interactions.

Spectroscopic overlaps and strengths were determined for states in

This paper analyzes Dutch and indigenous adaptation processes of foodways in the colonial Dutch East Indies, using seventeenth to early nineteenth-century archaeological evidence from Banten, Java. ...Banten was a global trading center and the focal point of the expansion in Asia of the Dutch East India Company (VOC). Its cosmopolitan and multinational society was already apparent when the Dutch arrived in 1596. Our research suggests that the Dutch in Banten adapted to using locally produced utilitarian earthenware instead of importing European vessels or having European-style cookware made in Banten. Banten's pre-existing market-oriented urban society made many of the basic necessities available for the VOC garrison in Banten. Perhaps equally important in facilitating Dutch adaptation to local foodways was the presence of local women and Asian cooks in their daily life.
The aim of this study is to determine the factors that cause environmental degradation and ecosystem damage. Learning strategies for student knowledge about the ecosystem is a must. The research was ...conducted on students of SD Kalisah Jakarta. The results showed that: (1) Students' knowledge of ecosystems taught by outdoor strategies was higher than indoor strategies, (2) Understanding of the ecosystems felt by students in terms of utilization, maintenance, and development which guaranteed sustainable environmental management. Learning about ecosystems allows students to equip themselves with knowledge and information on maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, both now and in the future.

This article discusses the results of our archaeological research at an important global pepper-trading center located in west Java, Indonesia, to examine the sultan's power and the transition ...processes from the year 1682 when the Dutch East India Company effectively took political and economic control over the sultanate, until the official end of the Sultanate of Banten in 1813. Through the study of prestige goods and food used at the court, we critically explore power relationships in this early stage of colonialism. The results of our study suggest that European cultural influence was limited to the public domain and most aspects of the sultan's daily life largely remained unchanged. However, the changing political structure was one factor in the eventual decline of the sultan's power. The archaeological focus on foodways in the study presented here reveals a more nuanced understanding of these gradual political changes than has been suggested by previous archaeological research primarily based on monumental architecture and major historical events.

The design and performance of a new Compton-suppressed HPGe and charged-particle array, CLARION2-TRINITY, are described. The TRINITY charged-particle array is comprised of 64 Cerium-doped Gadolinium ...Aluminum Gallium Garnet (GAGG:Ce) crystals configured into five rings spanning 7–54 degrees, and two annular silicon detectors that can shadow or extend the angular coverage to backward angles with minimal $\gamma$-ray attenuation. GAGG:Ce is a non-hygroscopic, bright, and relatively fast scintillator with a light distribution well matched to SiPMs. Count rates up to 40 kHz per crystal are sustainable. Fundamental characteristics of GAGG:Ce are measured and presented, including light- and heavy-ion particle identification (PID) capability, pulse-height defects, radiation hardness, and emission spectra. The CLARION2 array consists of up to 16 Compton-suppressed HPGe Clover detectors (efficiency at 1 MeV) configured into four rings (eight HPGe crystal rings) using a non-Archimedean geometry that suppresses back-to-back coincident 511-keV gamma rays. The entire array is instrumented with 100- and 500-MHz (14 bit) waveform digitizers which enable triggerless operation, pulse-shape discrimination, fast timing, and pileup correction. Lastly, two examples of experimental data taken during the commissioning of the CLARION2-TRINITY system are given: a PID spectrum from 16O + 18O fusion-evaporation, and PID and Doppler-corrected -ray spectra from 48Ti + 12C Coulomb excitation.
