    高強度の定常負荷試験(CLT)で得られる運動持続時間は,漸増負荷試験(ILT)から得られる最高酸素摂取量等よりも呼吸リハビリなどの介入効果の反応性が良いとされ,近年運動耐容能の指標として頻繁に用いられている.CLTの臨床的な有用性は明らかにされているが,その運動生理学的特徴は明らかになっていない.今回,高強度CLTとILTを行い,運動終了時の生理学的指標について酸素摂取量の視点から比較した.その結果,仕事率はILTのほうが高かったが,酸素摂取量,分時換気量,心拍数,自覚症状には差を認めなかった.血圧はILTのほうが高く,下肢筋の酸素消費はCLTのほうが高かった.CLTは外的な運動強度(仕事率)は低いが,内的な運動強度(酸素摂取量)はILTと同程度である負荷試験であることが確認された.またILTは循環系の負担の大きい試験であり,CLTは下肢筋の酸素利用を反映しやすい試験であることが示唆された.
