This paper considers the initial–boundary value problem of the attraction–repulsion Keller–Segel model describing aggregation of Microglia in the central nervous system in Alzheimer's disease due to ...the interaction of chemoattractant and chemorepellent. If repulsion dominates over attraction, we show the global existence of classical solution in two dimensions and weak solution in three dimensions with large initial data.

The construction of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) switches with multiple switchable emission states and high dissymmetry factors (glum) has attracted increasing attention due to their broad ...applications in diverse fields such as the development of smart devices and sensors. Herein, a new family of AIE‐active chiral 3rotaxanes were designed and synthesized, from which a novel CPL switching system was successfully constructed. The switching process was realized through the controlled motions of the chiral pillar5arene macrocycles along the axle through the addition or removal of the acetate anions, which not only modulated the chirality information transfer but also tuned the aggregations of the integrated 3rotaxanes, thus resulting in reversible transformations between two emission states with both high photoluminescence quantum yields (PLQYs) and high dissymmetry factors (glum) values.
The marriage of a switchable rotaxane and an AIEgen gave rise to the successful construction of a novel chiral 3rotaxane‐based CPL switching system with large glum values, remarkable difference in the glum values, and excellent cycling ability.

Over the past few decades, supramolecular chirality in discrete metallosupramolecular architectures has received considerable attention. In this review, a comprehensive summary of discrete, chiral ...coordination-driven structures, including helices, metallacycles, metallocages,
etc.
, is presented. Although chirality can be introduced prior to, during or even after the coordination self-assembly process, this review puts major emphasis on the more recent development of metallosupramolecular architectures from chiral components, where chirality arises from the enantiopure or racemic scaffolds (bridging or auxiliary ligand). Special attention will be paid to homochiral metallo-assemblies using achiral components where chirality is obtained as a consequence of the twisting of the ligands. Additionally, the potential applications of homochiral metallosupramolecular architectures are also discussed. We hope that this review will be of interest to researchers attempting to design new elaborate homochiral metallosupramolecular architectures with even greater complexity and potential for functions such as chiral recognition, enantiomer separation, asymmetric catalysis, nonlinear sensors, and devices.
A comprehensive summary of construction and potential applications of discrete, chiral metallosupramolecular architectures is presented herein.
Aiming at the construction of novel platform for efficient light harvesting, the precise synthesis of a new family of AIEgen‐branched rotaxane dendrimers was successful realized from an ...AIEgen‐functionalized 2rotaxane through a controllable divergent approach. In the resultant AIE macromolecules, up to twenty‐one AIEgens located at the tails of each branches, thus making them the first successful example of AIEgen‐branched dendrimers. Attributed to the solvent‐induced switching feature of the rotaxane branches, the integrated rotaxane dendrimers displayed interesting dynamic feature upon the aggregation‐induced emission (AIE) process. Moreover, novel artificial light‐harvesting systems were further constructed based on these AIEgen‐branched rotaxane dendrimers, which revealed impressive generation‐dependent photocatalytic performances for both photooxidation reaction and aerobic cross‐dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) reaction.

In this paper, the distributed adaptive event-triggered fault-tolerant consensus of general linear multiagent systems (MASs) is considered. First, in order to deal with multiplicative fault, a ...distributed event-triggered consensus protocol is designed. Using distributed adaptive online updating strategies, the computation of the minimum eigenvalue of Laplacian matrix is avoided. Second, some adaptive parameters are introduced in trigger function to improve the self-regulation ability of event-triggered mechanism. The new trigger threshold is both state-dependent and time-dependent, which is independent of the number of agents. Then sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee the leaderless and leader-following consensus. On the basis of this, the results are extended to the case of actuator saturation. It is proved the Zeno-behavior of considered event-triggered mechanism is avoided. At last, the effectiveness of the proposed methods are demonstrated by three simulation examples.
In this review, a comprehensive summary of supramolecular transformations within discrete coordination-driven supramolecular architectures, including helices, metallacycles, metallacages,
etc.
, is ...presented. Recent investigations have demonstrated that coordination-driven self-assembled architectures provide an ideal platform to study supramolecular transformations mainly due to the relatively rigid yet dynamic nature of the coordination bonds. Various stimuli have been extensively employed to trigger the transformation processes of metallosupramolecular architectures, such as solvents, concentration, anions, guests, change in component fractions or chemical compositions, light, and post-modification reactions, which allowed for the formation of new structures with specific properties and functions. Thus, it is believed that supramolecular transformations could serve as another highly efficient approach for generating diverse metallosupramolecular architectures. Classified by the aforementioned various stimuli used to induce the interconversion processes, the emphasis in this review will be on the transformation conditions, structural changes, mechanisms, and the output of specific properties and functions upon induction of structural transformations.

Accumulating evidence has indicated that long noncoding RNA NEAT1 exerts critical roles in cancers. So far, the detailed biological role and mechanisms of NEAT1, which are responsible for human ...gastric cancer (GC), are still largely unknown. Here, we observed that NEAT1 and STAT3 expressions were significantly upregulated in human GC cells including BGC823, SGC‐7901, AGS, MGC803, and MKN28 cells compared with normal gastric epithelial cells GES‐1, while miR‐506 was downregulated. We inhibited NEAT1 and observed that NEAT1 inhibition was able to repress the growth, migration, and invasion of GC cells. Conversely, overexpression of NEAT1 exhibited an increased ability of GC progression in BGC823 and SGC‐7901 cells. Bioinformatics analysis, dual luciferase reporter assays, RIP assays, and RNA pull‐down tests validated the negative binding correlation between NEAT1 and miR‐506. In addition, it was found that miR‐506 can modulate the expression of NEAT1 in vitro. STAT3 was predicted as a messenger RNA (mRNA) target of miR‐506, and miR‐506 mimics can suppress STAT3 mRNA expression. Subsequently, it was observed that downregulation of NEAT1 can restrain GC development by decreasing STAT3, which can be reversed by miR‐506 inhibitors. Therefore, it was hypothesized in our study that NEAT1 can be recognized as a competing endogenous RNA to modulate STAT3 by sponging miR‐506 in GC. In conclusion, we implied that NEAT1 can serve as an important biomarker in GC diagnosis and treatment.

Polydimethylsiloxanes (PDMS) foam as one of next‐generation polymer foam materials shows poor surface adhesion and limited functionality, which greatly restricts its potential applications. ...Fabrication of advanced PDMS foam materials with multiple functionalities remains a critical challenge. In this study, unprecedented self‐adhesive PDMS foam materials are reported with worm‐like rough structure and reactive groups for fabricating multifunctional PDMS foam nanocomposites decorated with MXene/cellulose nanofiber (MXene/CNF) interconnected network by a facile silicone foaming and dip‐coating strategy followed by silane surface modification. Interestingly, such self‐adhesive PDMS foam produces strong interfacial adhesion with the hybrid MXene/CNF nano‐coatings. Consequently, the optimized PDMS foam nanocomposites have excellent surface super‐hydrophobicity (water contact angle of ≈159o), tunable electrical conductivity (from 10−8 to 10 S m−1), stable compressive cyclic reliability in both wide‐temperature range (from −20 to 200 oC) and complex environments (acid, sodium, and alkali conditions), outstanding flame resistance (LOI value of >27% and low smoke production rate), good thermal insulating performance and reliable strain sensing in various stress modes and complex environmental conditions. It provides a new route for the rational design and development of advanced PDMS foam nanocomposites with versatile multifunctionalities for various promising applications such as intelligent healthcare monitoring and fire‐safe thermal insulation.

This paper is concerned with the global boundedness and blow-up of solutions to the Keller-Segel system with density-dependent motility in a two-dimensional bounded smooth domain with Neumman ...boundary conditions. We show that if the motility function decays exponentially, then a critical mass phenomenon similar to the minimal Keller-Segel model will arise. That is, there is a number m_*>0, such that the solution will globally exist with uniform-in-time bound if the initial cell mass (i.e., L^1-norm of the initial value of cell density) is less than m_*, while the solution may blow up if the initial cell mass is greater than m_*.
