This article introduces a 192-Gb 896-GB/s 12-high stacked third-generation high-bandwidth memory (HBM3 DRAM) with low power consumption and high-reliability traits. New design schemes and features, ...including internal low-voltage signaling, center strobe calibration, through-silicon via (TSV) auto-calibration, a symbol-correcting in-DRAM ECC, and machine-learning-based layout optimization, allow large amounts of data transfers among the vertically stacked base and core dies with limited delay mismatch or SI degradation, as well as reduced power consumption from low-voltage swings. Experimental results confirm 896-GB/s bandwidth operations at 1.0-V voltage conditions with up to 15% improved power efficiency.
Highly dense, negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor thick films of NiMn2O4 were fabricated on glass substrate by aerosol deposition at room temperature. The nanocrystalline films thus ...obtained showed superior NTC figure characteristics with a B constant of over 3900 K without heat treatment. With increasing annealing temperature, the film resistivity was gradually decreased due to crystallization and grain growth, but the B constant was maintained over 3500 K.

Ever since the introduction of high bandwidth memory (HBM DRAM) and its succeeding line-ups, HBM DRAM has been heralded as a prominent solution to tackle the memory wall problem. However, despite ...continual memory advancements the advent of high-end systems, including supercomputers, hyper-scale data centers and machine learning accelerators, are expediting requirements for higher-performance memory solutions. To accommodate the increasing system-level demands, we introduce HBM3 DRAM, which employs multiple new features and design schemes. Techniques such as an on-die ECC engine, internal NN-DFE I/O signaling, TSV auto-calibration, and layout optimization based on machine-learning algorithms are implemented to efficiently control timing skew margins and SI degradation trade-offs. Furthermore, reduced voltage swings allow for improved memory bandwidth, density, power efficiency and reliability.
This paper presents a new single carrier wave comparison PWM method for 3 level 3 phase Vienna type rectifier. The theoretical background for the single carrier wave comparison PWM is presented. The ...model for this Vienna rectifier is reviewed briefly and the voltage unbalance problem according to the offset duty is analyzed. Finally, the simulation and experimental results prove the effectiveness of the analysis results.
There is no accepted landmark for the mechanical axis of the femoral axis in sagittal plane in conventional total knee arthroplasty.
As palpable anatomic landmarks of the femur, lateral epicondyle, ...and anterior margin of the greater trochanter were identified. The line connecting these two landmarks was defined as the "palpable sagittal axis". The mechanical axis of the femur was compared with the palpable sagittal axis and the distal femoral anterior cortex axis. These axes were also compared with sagittal bowing of the femur.
The distal femoral anterior cortex axis and the palpable sagittal axis were flexed by 4.1 degrees and 2.4 degrees more than the sagittal mechanical axes, respectively (p < 0.05). However, the palpable sagittal axis was not correlated with sagittal bowing of the femur (Spearman's rs, 0.17; p = 0.14).
The palpable sagittal axis showed a consistent relationship with the sagittal mechanical femoral axes regardless of the severity of the sagittal bowing of the femur.
With the recent increasing interest in big data and artificial intelligence, there is an emerging demand for high-performance memory system with large density and high data-bandwidth. However, ...conventional DIMM-type memory has difficulty achieving more than 50GB/s due to its limited pin count and signal integrity issues. High-bandwidth memory (HBM) DRAM, with TSV technology and wide IOs, is a prominent solution to this problem, but it still has many limitations: including power consumption and reliability. This paper presents a power-efficient structure of TSVs with reliability and a cost-effective HBM DRAM core architecture.
Present study analyzed the efficiency characteristics of LLC converters having current doubler rectification circuits. A current doubler rectification circuit has a coupled inductor as rectification ...circuit on the secondary side output terminal of the converter. A current doubler rectification circuit generally requires inductors on the secondary side however, the characteristic of an LLC converter preclude the inclusion of inductors on its secondary side. This problem is resolved here by proposing, a circuit system that has very small inductance values and uses a coupled inductor on the secondary side output terminal. The proposed circuit system is advantageous compared to center tap systems typically used at present, as confirmed by analysis and verified through simulated analysis.

A seven months old, tiger shovelnose catfish was referred to the veterinary medical teaching hospital of the college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk university because of suspecting a foreign body in ...the stomach. By physical and radiologic examinations, the catfish revealed abdominal enlargement, vomiting, inactivity and radiopaque foreign bodies in the stomach. Under general anesthesia with dilute isoflurane solution, celiotomy was performed. Stomach was atonic, and three foreign bodies were palpated in the stomach. In this process, three stones came out through mouth. Abdominal muscles were closed with a simple continuous suture pattern, and skin was closed with a simple mattress suture pattern. Sutured site was covered with glue and mucous taken from allogenic skin. On the second day after surgery, the patient recovered to normal condition, showing increased appetite and activity.
