With the development of improved augmented reality (AR) devices, the use of AR in new media to better communicate culture has become a major trend. However, AR technology algorithms still have many ...shortcomings, and this paper proposes a new algorithm that shows that the proposed algorithm is better than traditional terrain generation algorithms in terms of display and granularity and less costly than traditional geographic algorithms, according to the proposed algorithm, traditional genealogy algorithms and terrain sequencing algorithms. Therefore, the proposed area adjustment algorithm in this paper can improve the lower cost of equipment to reflect the impact of the geographic information scene function in the attachment, thus optimising the use of AR technology in new media, and the combination of the two allows the dissemination of traditional culture to be enhanced in many ways.

Twist is a critical epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT)-inducing transcription factor that increases expression of vimentin. How Twist1 regulates this expression remains unclear. Here, we report ...that Twist1 regulates Cullin2 (Cul2) circular RNA to increase expression of vimentin in EMT. Twist1 bound the Cul2 promoter to activate its transcription and to selectively promote expression of Cul2 circular RNA (circ-10720), but not mRNA. circ-10720 positively correlated with Twist1, tumor malignance, and poor prognosis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Twist1 promoted vimentin expression by increasing levels of circ-10720, which can absorb miRNAs that target vimentin. circ-10720 knockdown counteracted the tumor-promoting activity of Twist1
and in patient-derived xenograft and diethylnitrosamine-induced TetOn-Twist1 transgenic mouse HCC models. These data unveil a mechanism by which Twist1 regulates vimentin during EMT. They also provide potential therapeutic targets for HCC treatment and provide new insight for circular RNA (circRNA)-based diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Our meta-analysis aims to investigate the prognostic role of pretreatment albumin to globulin ratio (AGR) in human cancers.
Available databases were searched up to Sept 25th, 2017. Pooled hazard ...ratios (HRs) and risk ratio (RRs) with their corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were used to assess the prognostic impact of AGR on overall survival (OS)/disease-free survival (DFS)/progression-free survival (PFS) and 5-year mortality respectively.
Totally, 28 studies with 15 356 cancer patients were included. Our results demonstrated that low pretreatment AGR is associated with poor OS (HR=2.08, 95%CI:1.78–2.44, univariate results; HR=1.75, 95%CI:1.56–1.97, multivariate results), poor DFS (HR=1.96, 95%CI:1.48–2.59, univariate results; HR=1.64, 95%CI:1.26–2.14, multivariate results) and poor PFS (HR=1.89, 95%CI:1.61–2.22, univariate results; HR=1.66, 95%CI:1.32–2.0, multivariate results). Meanwhile, low pretreatment AGR is also associated with increased 5-year mortality (RR=2.12, 95%CI:1.48–3.03). Moreover, this significant correlation was not altered by stratified analysis according to publication times, sample sizes, patient origins, AGR cutoff values, cancer systems, treatment methods or HR sources.
Low pretreatment AGR is associated with poor prognosis in human cancers, and AGR should be used as a prognostic marker during cancer therapy.

Since December 2019, a novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 has emerged and rapidly spread throughout the world, resulting in a global public health emergency. The lack of vaccine and antivirals has brought ...an urgent need for an animal model. Human angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2) has been identified as a functional receptor for SARS-CoV-2. In this study, we generated a mouse model expressing human ACE2 (hACE2) by using CRISPR/Cas9 knockin technology. In comparison with wild-type C57BL/6 mice, both young and aged hACE2 mice sustained high viral loads in lung, trachea, and brain upon intranasal infection. Although fatalities were not observed, interstitial pneumonia and elevated cytokines were seen in SARS-CoV-2 infected-aged hACE2 mice. Interestingly, intragastric inoculation of SARS-CoV-2 was seen to cause productive infection and lead to pulmonary pathological changes in hACE2 mice. Overall, this animal model described here provides a useful tool for studying SARS-CoV-2 transmission and pathogenesis and evaluating COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought an urgent need for small animal models. Here, Sun et al. established an ACE2 humanized mouse by CRISPR/Cas9 knockin technology. These hACE2 mice are susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection upon intranasal inoculation, and the resulting pulmonary infection and pathological changes resemble those observed in COVID-19 patients.

This work fabricated foamed cement-based composites with different densities, MWCNTs content, and double-layer design with different layer combinations. Not only were the EMW-absorbing performance ...and mechanism of these composites investigated, but the mechanical properties were also examined. Single-layer composites' optimum EMW absorption performance showed an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 9.76 GHz and RLmin of −13.6 dB. Compared to the single-layer samples, the double-layer samples showed the wider EAB of 12.7 GHz, RLmin of −32.9 dB at the same thickness, furthermore EAB of 14 GHz, and lower RLmin of −47.3 dB at 30 mm thickness. Attributing to the specific porous system and the internal micro conductive network, a synergistic effect of improved impedance matching characteristic and superior EMW attenuation of the double-layer composite was achieved.

A spectrum-sharing satellite-ground integrated network is conceived, consisting of a pair of non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) constellations and multiple terrestrial base stations, which impose the ...co-frequency interference (CFI) on each other. The CFI may increase upon increasing the number of satellites. To manage the potentially severe interference, we propose to rely on joint multi-domain resource aided interference management (JMDR-IM). Specifically, the coverage overlap of the constellations considered is analyzed. Then, multi-domain resources - including both the beam-domain and power-domain - are jointly utilized for managing the CFI in an overlapping coverage region. This joint resource utilization is performed by relying on our specifically designed beam-shut-off and switching based beam scheduling, as well as on long short-term memory based joint autoregressive moving average assisted deep Q network aided power scheduling. Moreover, the outage probability (OP) of the proposed JMDR-IM scheme is derived, and the asymptotic analysis of the OP is also provided. Our performance evaluations demonstrate the superiority of the proposed JMDR-IM scheme in terms of its increased throughput and reduced OP.
Objectives
To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of arbidol and lopinavir/ritonavir (LPV/r) in the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) using a meta‐analysis method.
Methods
...The China Knowledge Network, VIP database, WanFang database PubMed database, Embase database, and Cochrane Library were searched for a collection of comparative studies on arbidol and lopinavir/ritonavir in the treatment of COVID‐19. Meta‐analysis was used to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Arbidol and lopinavir/ritonavir in the treatment of COVID‐19.
Results
The results of the systematic review indicated that Arbidol had a higher positive‐to‐negative conversion rate of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‐CoV‐2) nucleic acid on Day 7 (p = 0.03), a higher positive‐to‐negative conversion rate of SARS‐CoV‐2 nucleic acid on Day 14 (p = 0.006), a higher improvement rate of chest computed tomography on Day 14 (p = 0.02), a lower incidence of adverse reactions (p = 0.002) and lower rate of mortality (p = 0.007). There was no difference in the rate of cough disappearance on Day 14 (p = 0.24) or the rate of severe/critical illness (p = 0.07) between the two groups.
Conclusions
Arbidol may be superior to lopinavir/ritonavir in the treatment of COVID‐19. However, due to the small number of included studies and the number of patients, high‐quality multicenter large‐sample randomized double‐blind controlled trials are still needed for verification.

Slab track is widely used in many newly built high-speed rail (HSR) lines as it offers many advantages over ballasted tracks. However, in actual operation, slab tracks are subjected to operational ...and environmental factors, and structural damages are frequently reported. One of the most critical problems is temperature-induced slab-warping deformation (SWD) which can jeopardize the safety of train operation. This paper proposes an automatic slab deformation detection method in light of the track geometry measurement data, which are collected by high-speed track geometry car (HSTGC). The characteristic of track vertical irregularity is first analyzed in both time and frequency domain, and the feature of slab-warping phenomenon is observed. To quantify the severity of SWD, a slab-warping index (SWI) is established based on warping-sensitive feature extraction using discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The performance of the proposed algorithm is verified against visual inspection recorded on four sections of China HSR line, which are constructed with the China Railway Track System II (CRTSII) slab track. The results show that among the 24,806 slabs being assessed, over 94% of the slabs with warping deformation can be successfully identified by the proposed detection method. This study is expected to provide guidance for efficiently detecting and locating slab track defects, taking advantage of the massive track inspection data.
