With the continuous occurrence of power crisis events worldwide, meeting society's demand for electricity has kept coal-fired power generation high, which leads to a large amount of carbon dioxide ...emissions and environmental pollution problems. Therefore, improving the environmental performance of thermal power plants under the background of a power crisis has become particularly important. This research provides a new path for production optimization and environmental performance improvement of electric power enterprises from the perspective of combining prediction algorithms and DEA methods. We apply the modified non-radial directional distance function (MNDDF) method to a set of panel data containing 16 different cogeneration units and 27 different periods in eastern China and construct the grey prediction model to predict the future environmental performance of these units. Empirical analysis shows that our model has high prediction accuracy and offers a reasonable basis for future production decision-making adjustments for electric power enterprises. Based on the results herein, we present valuable suggestions for thermal power plants to improve their environmental performance during a power market crisis, including optimizing resource utilization, improving management level and operating conditions, strengthening technological innovation, and enhancing production factor allocation.
•We utilized micro-level operational data from power companies.•We assessed power companies' performance with DEA and forecasting algorithms.•The heterogeneity among various power enterprises is evident.•Power companies can enhance their performance by adjusting resource allocation.•Production technology can affect a company's performance.

Reductionism and complexity theory are two paradigms frequently found in language research. There exist a number of conflicts in terms of concepts and methodologies between reductionism and ...complexity theory, which are not conducive to creating a unified language research framework. This paper starts by discussing the adaptability of complex dynamic systems and combines cognitive processing model and artificial neural networks to construct and verify an adaptive weight model, showing that the study of reductionism is induction of high-weight elements and the study of complexity theory is a discussion of system complexity from adaptability, meaning that there is a good fit between the two frameworks. The adaptive weight model is conducive to developing a unified interpretation of language research results.
In the contemporary society of globalization and rapid information technology development, rural areas face unprecedented challenges and opportunities. Rural planning and design are essential for ...regional economic development, cultural heritage, and ecological protection. As an innovative development model, integrating agriculture, culture, and tourism provides new ideas for rural revitalization. Big data technology can help analyze the countryside’s development potential more accurately and allocate resources more efficiently to promote the science and refinement of rural planning and design. This study establishes a GIS management system supported by geographic information data, uses Oracle database to manage spatial information and attribute information, and utilizes vector slicing technology and WebGL graphic rendering to achieve rapid rendering and diverse expression of maps. In creating an agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration index system, the entropy index method is used to assign weights to each index, and the coupling coordination degree model is set up. The coupling degree of Tibet’s agricultural, cultural, and tourism industry from 2011-2021 has increased from 0.219 to 0.769, and the coupling coordination degree has increased from 0.158 to 0.778, which shows an excellent upward trend. The study shows that big data technology can effectively improve the quality and efficiency of rural planning and design, and promote the development of agricultural, cultural, and tourism integration.

The quality of vocal performance lies in the performer’s skill level, and in this paper, the optimization method of their objective functions is investigated by analyzing the relationship between ...generators and discriminators of generative adversarial networks. Meanwhile, the attention mechanism framework is introduced, and the attention mechanism is applied to the generator part of the generative adversarial network, which is used to focus significantly on the useful information of text features, thus establishing a GAN network based on the attention mechanism. Then, the importance of emotional expression in vocal performances is analyzed using the improved GAN model. In terms of the enhancement effect on the attractiveness of the performance, high levels of emotional expression increased on average by 24.78% compared to low levels. In terms of enhancing the audience’s aesthetic experience, the high level of emotional expression increased by an average of 25.41% compared to the low level. Regarding the promotion effect of the artistic imagination of the whole performance, the high level of emotional expression increased by 19.76% on average compared with the low level. The importance analysis based on GAN can provide a reference for performers to balance good singing skills and emotional expressions.
Deep understanding of the genomic and immunological differences between Chinese and Western lung cancer patients is of great importance for target therapy selection and development for Chinese ...patients. Here we report an extensive molecular and immune profiling study of 245 Chinese patients with non-small cell lung cancer. Tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte estimated using immune cell signatures is found to be significantly higher in adenocarcinoma (ADC, 72.5%) compared with squamous cell carcinoma (SQCC, 54.4%). The correlation of genomic alterations with immune signatures reveals that low immune infiltration was associated with EGFR mutations in ADC samples, PI3K and/or WNT pathway activation in SQCC. While KRAS mutations are found to be significantly associated with T cell infiltration in ADC samples. The SQCC patients with high antigen presentation machinery and cytotoxic T cell signature scores are found to have a prolonged overall survival time.
This study aimed to examine the association between negative life events (NLEs) and attempted suicide in rural China.
Six rural counties were selected from disease surveillance points in Shandong ...province, China. A total of 409 suicide attempters in rural areas between October 1, 2009, and March 31, 2011, and an equal number of matched controls were interviewed. We compared negative life events experienced within 1 month, 1-3 months, 3-6 months, and 6-2 months prior to attempted suicide for cases and prior to interview for controls. We used multivariate logistic regression to examine the association between NLEs and attempted suicide.
Suicide attempters experienced more NLEs within the last year prior to suicide attempt than controls prior to interview (83.1% vs. 33.5%). There was a significant dose-response relationship between NLEs experienced within the last year and increased risk of attempted suicide. Timing of NLEs analysis showed that NLEs experienced in the last month and 6-12 months prior to suicide attempt were significantly associated with elevated risk of attempted suicide, even after adjusting for mental disorders and demographic factors. Of NLEs, quarrelling with spouse, quarrelling with other family members, conflicting with friends or neighbors, family financial difficulty, and serious illness were independently related to attempted suicide.
NLEs are significantly associated with increased risk for attempted suicide in rural China. Stress management and intervention may be important to prevent suicidal behavior in rural China.

The uncontrollable dendrite growth and unstable solid electrolyte interphase have long plagued the practical application of Li metal batteries. Herein, a dual‐layered artificial interphase ...LiF/LiBO–Ag is demonstrated that is simultaneously reconfigured via an electrochemical process to stabilize the lithium anode. This dual‐layered interphase consists of a heterogeneous LiF/LiBO glassy top layer with ultrafast Li‐ion conductivity and lithiophilic Li–Ag alloy bottom layer, which synergistically regulates the dendrite‐free Li deposition, even at high current densities. As a result, Li||Li symmetric cells with LiF/LiBO–Ag interphase achieve an ultralong lifespan (4500 h) at an ultrahigh current density and area capacity (20 mA cm−2, 20 mAh cm−2). LiF/LiBO–Ag@Li anodes are successfully applied in quasi‐solid‐state batteries, showing excellent cycling performances in symmetric cells (8 mA cm−2, 8 mAh cm−2, 5000 h) and full cells. Furthermore, a practical quasi‐solid‐state pouch cell coupling with a high‐nickel cathode exhibits stable cycling with a capacity retention of over 91% after 60 cycles at 0.5 C, which is comparable or even better than that in liquid‐state pouch cells. Additionally, a high‐energy‐density quasi‐solid‐state pouch cell (10.75 Ah, 448.7 Wh kg−1) is successfully accomplished. This well‐orchestrated interphase design provides new guidance in engineering highly stable interphase toward practical high‐energy‐density lithium metal batteries.
A spontaneously reconfigured, dual‐layered artificial interphase of LiF/LiBO–Ag is proposed to stabilize Li anode at high current densities. The LiF/LiBO top layer guarantees fast Li‐ion transition, and the lithiophilic Li–Ag bottom layer enables uniform Li deposition. Benefiting from the well‐orchestrated interphase design, the quasi‐solid‐state lithium metal batteries demonstrate a high practical specific energy (448.7 Wh kg−1), superior high‐rate performances, and high safety.
