In social networks, link prediction predicts missing links in current networks and new or dissolution links in future networks, is important for mining and analyzing the evolution of social networks. ...In the past decade, many works have been done about the link prediction in social networks. The goal of this paper is to comprehensively review, analyze and discuss the state-of-the-art of the link prediction in social networks. A systematical category for link prediction techniques and problems is presented. Then link prediction techniques and problems are analyzed and discussed. Typical applications of link prediction are also addressed. Achievements and roadmaps of some active research groups are introduced. Finally, some future challenges of the link prediction in social networks are discussed.

Herein, we describe a fast and highly sensitive electrochemical sensor for doxorubicin (DOX) detection based on the indium tin oxide (ITO) modified with a binary material consisting of ...vertically-ordered mesoporous silica films (VMSFs) and N-doped graphene quantum dots (NGQDs). VMSFs, with high permeability and efficient molecular transport capacity, is attached to the ITO electrode via a rapid and controllable electrochemical method, which can serve as a solid template for the confinement of numerous NGQDs through facile electrophoresis. By virtue of the excellent charge transfer capacity, π-π and electrostatic preconcentration effects of NGQDs, as well as the electrostatic enrichment ability of VMSF, the presented NGQDs@VMSF/ITO shows amplified electrochemical signal towards DOX with a positive charge, resulting in good analytical performance in terms of a wide linear range (5 nM~0.1 μM and 0.1~1 μM), high sensitivity (30.4 μA μM−1), and a low limit of detection (0.5 nM). Moreover, due to the molecular sieving property of VMSF, the developed NGQDs@VMSF/ITO sensor has good selectivity and works well in human serum and urine samples, with recoveries of 97.0~109%, thus providing a simple and reliable method for the direct electrochemical analysis of DOX without complex sample pretreatment procedures.

Investment and construction of power infrastructure are directly related to the achievement of sustainable development goals. China's trade and investment with BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) ...countries have maintained growth trend. The development and construction of these investment projects certainly have impacts on the economic development mode and sustainable development goals of the countries. On collecting the basic information of the renewable energy investment projects, this paper compares and calculates the current power technology structure and grid emission factors of the host countries, and analyses the carbon emission level of electricity generation from the perspective of the whole life cycle. Making it as the benchmark, this paper also analyzes the current China's invested wind and solar energy projects and the carbon emission reduction benefits to the host country. The results show that at present, China has about 36 renewable energy investment projects in BRI countries, with an installed capacity of 15.75GW (China as the project owner or investor), and achieve at least 48.69M tCO2 emission reduction. This shows that China's effective investment and implementation of the green projects will provide a strong impetus for the energy transformation and the improvement of their energy security in BRI countries.
Parts are often warped and deformed when they are molded using selective laser melting (SLM) technology. Thus, it is necessary to study the addition support modes of parts molded using SLM. ...Consequently, we designed dendritic, E-stage and conical supports, having different structural parameters and different partitions using Magics, and then, we analyzed their performances using the finite element software Abaqus. The structural parameters of the supports were optimized and finally tested using SLM molding technology. The maximum stress concentration was found for dendritic supports, followed by E-stage supports, and then conical supports. The stress concentration and deformation level of Scheme 2 were less than those of Scheme 1. The stress intensity and deformation levels for two partitions were less than those for three partitions. For parts molded by SLM, the deformation was maximum for conical supports, followed by dendritic supports, and then E-stage supports. When gradient supports of similar volumes were added, additional partitions did not effectively improve the molding quality. When supports of similar volumes were added, adding gradient supports did not effectively improve the molding quality. The results provide a basis for the application of SLM in molding high-precision parts.

The presence of carbon–carbon double bonds (CCs) in unsaturated phospholipids is closely related to lipid conformations and physiochemical activities. Previously, we have demonstrated that ...epoxidation reaction facilitated by low-temperature plasma (LTP) enabled the structural analysis of unsaturated fatty acids (FAs). Epoxidation of the CC leads to the production of an epoxide, which can be easily cleaved via collision-induced dissociation (CID) to produce diagnostic ions indicative of the CC bond locations in FAs. In this work, we further developed this method for analysis of phospholipids. Tandem mass spectrometry analysis with epoxidation reaction was performed in both positive and negative ion mode to analyze phosphatidylcholines (PCs), phosphatidic acids (PAs), phosphatidylethanolamines (PEs), phosphatidylglycerols (PGs), and phosphatidylinositols (PIs). The developed method was applied in a shotgun lipidomics approach to characterize phospholipids in a bovine liver extract.

Elucidation of complex structures of biomolecules plays a key role in the field of chemistry and life sciences. In the past decade, ion mobility, by coupling with mass spectrometry, has become a ...unique tool for distinguishing isomers and isoforms of biomolecules. In this study, we develop a concept for performing ion mobility analysis using an ion trap, which enables isomer separation under ultra-high fields to achieve super high resolutions over 10,000. The potential of this technology has been demonstrated for analysis of isomers for biomolecules including disaccharides, phospholipids, and peptides with post-translational modifications.
Nowadays, what captures consumers' primary attention is how to purchase electric vehicles with long range and desirable price. Lightweight construction stands as one of the most effective approaches ...for prolonging range and lowering costs. As a consequence, it is particularly imperative to undertake lightweight design optimization for the battery bracket of new energy vehicles by applying 3D printing technology. To actualize this goal, Rhino software was initially employed for 3D modeling to design the battery bracket system for a pure electric vehicle in China. Subsequently, topology optimization design of the battery bracket was carried out by adopting Altair Inspire software. Last but not least, manufacturing and assembly inspection were completed using a 3D printer. The results show that the maximum displacement of the battery lower tray bracket after topology optimization is 3.20 mm, which is slightly higher than before, but still relatively small. The maximum Mises equivalent stress rose to 240.7 MPa post-optimization, but brought about a uniform stress distribution at the bottom of the bracket. In comparison, the minimum factor of safety met design requirements at 1. The mass was lessened to 0.348 kg, representing a 49.2% decrease in comparison with pre-optimization levels. The 3D-printed bracket was fabricated by employing a 3D printer, thereby achieving the aforementioned mass abatement. The battery pack parts exhibited a bright surface with low roughness and no discernible warping or deformation defects. As revealed by the assembly results, the components of the battery pack bracket are tightly coordinated with each other, with no evident assembly conflicts, revealing that the dimensional accuracy and fit of the completed parts meet production requirements. These findings lay solid groundwork for the mass production of high-performance battery pack brackets.

Retirement is a major life event, and a positive adjustment to retirement is essential for maintaining physical and psychological well-being in later life. Previous research demonstrates that ...pre-retirement planning predicts post-retirement well-being. This study further explores the underlying mechanism between planning activities and post-retirement well-being. By applying the resource-based dynamic model (Wang et al., 2011), the present longitudinal study examines whether pre-retirement planning activities can increase the total resources of retirees, including tangible, mental and social resources, and consequently contribute to better psychological and physical well-being 1 year after actual retirement. A total of 118 Hong Kong Chinese retirees completed three assessments: Time 1 assessment was conducted 6 months before retirement, and Times 2 and 3 assessments were carried out 6 and 12 months, respectively, after retirement. Latent growth models were employed to examine changes in retirement resources and post-retirement well-being over time. Consistent with the proposition of the resource-based dynamic model, positive changes in well-being were observed in the retirees with increases in retirement resources between pre- and post-retirement phases. The results of the latent growth mediation models also support our prediction: retirees with more preparatory activities before retirement acquire greater resources at the initial stage, which contribute to positive changes in post-retirement well-being over time.
The lithium dendrite growth is still a serious challenge and impeding the realistic applications of all-solid-state lithium batteries. In view of the amide containing sediment layer can be stable on ...lithium/cathodes, a composite polymer electrolyte with amide-based matrix is in-situ built on porous electrodes. With the introduction of amide, the polymer electrolyte presents excellent ability to inhibit lithium dendrite growth and makes the Li/Li symmetric battery stably work for 500 h with a good ionic conductivity of 4.25 × 10−5 S/cm at 40 °C. The solid electrolyte also shows a wide electrochemical stable window and good interface contact with the porous cathode. Utilizing this composite polymer electrolyte, the all-solid-state Li/LiFePO4 battery shows an initial discharge capacity of 146.5 mAh/g at 0.1 C under 40 oC and remains 81.4% in 100 cycles. The polymer electrolyte also can present better properties after modification. These results demonstrate that the presented PA-based composite polymer electrolyte could be served as a good electrolyte candidate for all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries.

Rare earth elements (REEs) are important strategic resources reserved by countries in the 21st century, especially in light of a global supply crisis stemming from the increasing demand for REEs in ...the high-tech industry. State-of-the-art technologies for the capture and recovery of REEs from wastewater are thus essential for a sustainable future. Algae-based technology is considered one of the most promising methods for recovering REEs for its high efficiency, low cost, and wide applicability. This review begins with a discussion of how the characteristics of algae affect the REEs removal process. A systematic analysis and comparison of the underlying adsorption/absorption mechanisms and factors affecting REEs removal from wastewater by dried/living algae are also presented. Inspired by the differences in these mechanisms, various strategies for improving the removal efficiency of REEs by dried and living algae are developed and summarized. Different recycling and resource utilization technologies are analyzed according to the properties of dried and living algae. Finally, prospects of future studies are proposed to aid future efforts for making algae-based REEs recovery technology a commercial reality.
