Teza prispevka je, da ostaja pomembna, a še vedno spregledana naloga razvoja znanosti socialnega dela: razvoj koncepta pomoći, razvoj teorije ravnanja v praksi. Zanima nas poseben in pomemben sklop ...vprašanj: proces podpore in pomoči, kako delamo socialno delo, kako se proces vzpostavlja, vzdržuje, kakšne koncepte, metode, tehnike in spretnosti je socialno delo izoblikovalo, kako se v procesu pomoči spreminjajo vloge praktika, raziskovalca in uporabnika? Ključni koncept nove, nastajajoče teorije ravnanja bi lahko povzeli z besedo soustvarjanje. Že ta vzpostavi pomen jezika socialnega dela. V socialnem delu nastaja nov, avtonomen jezik, ki dobro ubesedi ravnanje v procesih pomoči kot soustvarjanje v delovnem odnosu, iz etike udeleženosti in perspektive moči. Teza prispevka je, da v razvoju znanosti in stroke potrebujemo intenzivno razvojno-raziskovalno delo na procesih podpore in pomoči: gre za produkcijo novih znanj za teorijo in prakso v praksi sami, ko se hkrati ustvarjajo spremembe, pomoč in podpora v praksi. Soustvarijo se novi pomeni v praksi in za prakso, soustvari se učenje. Znanost socialnega dela sama se definira kot produkcija novih znanj.
The aim of this paper is to present my concept of the working relationship in social work, to plead for its use in social work practice and to reflect experiences while teaching this concept to ...students. This paper elaborates the specificity of the relationship between client and social worker in the helping process. The concept of the working relationship is explored as a relevant frame for defining concepts of help in social work. The elements defining the concept are explained: agreement, instrumental definition of the problem, personal leading, the strength perspective, the ethics of participation, co-presence and actionable knowledge are related to practical use and to teaching. The working relationship is a model that social workers can use and share with clients to make co-creating of solutions possible.

The concept of postmodernist comprehension of re-establishing and preserving the context of counseling and therapy with families is presented in terms of "the fourth wave" (O'Hanlon) in the ...development of psychotherapy. Within the concept of ethics of involvement (Hoffman) the objective observer is replaced by cooperation, in which no one has the right to the final statement (and doesn't need one); instead, the conversation can continue in the way that uncerstanding and agreement determine the next step in the relationship. Participants in the agreement (the therapist and the client) search together for their personal or local story and create the new story. Through social construction and dialog counseling and therapy shape the concept of understanding. The role of the counselor or the therapist is to provide an open space for conversation in order to find common definitions and problem solutions (Lussi). He or she uses and develops the concept of personal leadership and working relationship (de Vries).
Strategije suočavanja s naučenom bespomoćnošću česta su tema u radu s djecom s poteškoćama u učenju. Autorica polazi od stajališta da treba redefinirati ulogu djeteta u procesu učenja kao i vezu koja ...se s djetetom uspostavlja. Cilj rada je pronaći odgovore u suvremenim konceptima socijalnog rada temeljenim na našim teorijskim stajalištima, a u vezi s praktičnim iskustvima i rezultatima istraživanjima u projektu Sustvaranje učenja i pomoći u školi koji je vodio Fakultet za socijalni rad, a dio je istraživanja provedenog s Pedagoškim fakultetom. Kvalitativna analiza akcijskog istraživanja pokazuje da je ključno utvrditi individualni radni projekt pomoći sa svima koji mogu sudjelovati u sustvaranju pomoći i potpore školskom uspjehu djeteta i u okviru kojeg su djeca aktivni sudionici u svim fazama kako bi se spriječila naučena bespomoćnost. Socijalni rad također ima važnu ulogu u školi. Socijalni radnik, kao jedan od članova stručnog tima u školi, može primjenom modernih koncepata pomoći pridonijeti školskom uspjehu kao jednom od glavnih zaštitnih čimbenika u životu osobe.
Rad se sastoji od tri dijela: prvi dio predstavlja pledoaje teorije i prakse socijalnog rada u kojem se prihvaćaju i podučavaju postmodernistički elementi u socijalnom radu. U socijalnom radu ...potrebno nam je stvaranje postmodernističkih misli kao iskoristivog znanja te odgovarajućih riječi za nastanak, opis i širenje teorijskog znanja. Potrebno nam je i iskustvo korištenja konstrukcionističkog pristupa u svrhu provođenja dobre prakse.
U drugom dijelu rada definiran je socijalni rad s obitelji u postmodernističkom okviru. Prikazan je koncept stvaranja odnosa s obitelji, te otvorenog konverzacijskog prostora prilikom istraživanja realiteta obitelji u svrhu prikupljanja novih pomažućih pripovijesti i suradnje.
U posljednjem dijelu predstavljen je model socijalnog rada s obitelji koji implicira čitav proces: od stvaranja odnosa s obitelji, uz poštivanje njene jedinstvenosti, do mreže profesionalaca, uz komplementarne servise podrške koji omogućuju realne izbore i promjene.
The central question of the article is: why are the development & use of social work language as a language of science & profession of social work important. In social work, a new, autonomous ...language is emerging, a language that translates well all the steps taken in the processes of help, envisaged as a co-creation based on ethics of participation & strength perspective. Peter Lussi's systematic theory of social work is presented as the first important theory of doing & is related to contemporary, postmodern concepts of social work in a work relationship, bringing together appreciative & responsible allies (social workers) & experts on experience. The main thesis of the article can be summed up as: in science & profession of social work we need respectful steps & a disciplined use of social work language in theory & practice, at all times, without exceptions. The arguments in favor of the thesis are: social work language verbally expresses the way we do things; it brings forth changes; it is an appreciative language of co-creators in the process of help, taking into consideration strength perspective; & it plays an important role in co-creation of joint projects with other professions. Strategies for dealing with learned helplessness are a frequently discussed topic in working with children who have learning difficulties. The authors' premise is that the role of a child in a ...learning process and the relationship established with him/her need to be redefined. The aim of this paper is to find some answers in contemporary social work concepts based on our theoretical understanding, relating to practical experiences and research findings in the project Co-creation of Learning and Help led by the Faculty of Social Work which was a part of a research conducted with the Faculty of Education. A qualitative analysis of the action research shows that it is crucial to establish an individual working project of help with all who can participate in co-creating help and support for a child's school success and within which children are active co-workers in all work phases in order to prevent learned helplessness. Social work also has an important role in school. A social worker, as one of the professionals in a school's counseling service, can, when using contemporary concepts of help, contribute to school success as one of the main protective factors in a person's life.
