Однако у А. Толстого переживания за судьбы страны и мира идут от человеческой сущности русского человека, а в публицистике М. Шолохова переживания определяются трагедией войны, человеческих отношений и бытия, что подчеркивается подробным описанием фронтовых будней, окружающей среды, пейзажа.
Der Band dokumentiert die Verfolgung der Juden in den vom Deutschen Reich eingegliederten polnischen Gebieten zwischen Sommer 1941 und 1945 - in den Reichsgauen Danzig-Westpreuen und Wartheland, im ...Bezirk Bialystok, dem Regierungsbezirk Zichenau und in Oberschlesien. Das Gros der hier lebenden Juden war langst in Gettos eingesperrt worden, von denen die in Litzmannstadt und Bialystok die groten waren. 1942 begannen die Raumung der Gettos und ersten Deportationen in die Vernichtungslager: aus Oberschlesien nach Auschwitz-Birkenau, aus dem Bezirk Bialystok nach Treblinka, im Warthegau in das bereits im Dezember 1941 von einem SS-Sonderkommando in Kulmhof eingerichtete erste stationare Vernichtungslager. Die wenigsten der zuvor hier lebenden mehr als eine halbe Million Juden entkamen dem Massenmord. Im Reichsgau Danzig-Westpreuen schlielich befanden sich im Sommer 1944 im KZ Stutthof und zahlreichen Auenlagern einige Zehntausend Juden aus Auschwitz und den baltischen Lagern, von denen die meisten im Lager oder auf den Todesmarschen im Fruhjahr 1945 starben. This book fills a gap in the historical knowledge of wartime Yugoslavia. Focusing on the Chetnik movement provides a better understanding of the various ways that important segments of the ...population, including members of the Yugoslav officer corps and Serb civilians, perceived and responded to the occupation. The partisans' ultimate success does not conceal the fact that during the greater part of the war, several armed groups, owing at least some sort of allegiance to Mihailovic, chose very different courses of resistance. The overriding question for Milazzo is how a movement whose leadership was in no sense pro-Axis found itself progressively drawn into a hopelessly compromising set of relationships with the occupation authorities and the Quisling regime. What was it about the situation in occupied Yugoslavia and the Serb officers' response to that state of affairs that prevented them from carrying out serious anti-Axis activity or engaging in effective collaboration? The author attends to the emergence, organization, and failure of the Chetniks, the regional particularities of the movement, and Mihailovic's efforts to establish his own authority over the widely scattered non-Communist armed formations. The author also discusses the domestic opposition to Tito and the complex reality of the national and political civil war in Yugoslavia.
He article investigates the supply of agricultural products of the Krasnodar Territory during the Great Patriotic War. The relevance of the issue is caused by constant discussions about the ...significance of the contribution of domestic supplies of agricultural products to the Great Victory. The documents that has formed the basis of the article are kept in the Russian State Archive of Economics (RSAE). The total amount of agricultural products of the Krasnodar Territory supplied to the state in 1941-1945 is determined using the archival sources. The author demonstrates the dynamics of the supply of all food products. The principles of historicism, objectivity, scientific character and consistency have become the basis of this article. Historical-comparative, historical-genetic and statistical methods have been also used in the article. The author has concluded that the collective farm-state farming system in the countryside managed to provide the Red Army and the Soviet people with the necessary amount of bread, potatoes, vegetables, meat, milk, eggs, etc.
Between three and four thousand civilians, primarily Serbian and Jewish, were murdered in the Novi Sad massacre of 1942. Hungarian soldiers and gendarmes carried out the crime in the city and ...surrounding areas, in territory Hungary occupied after the German attack on Yugoslavia. The perpetrators believed their acts to be a contribution to a new order in Europe, and as a means to ethnically cleanse the occupied lands.In marked contrast to other massacres, the Horthy regime investigated the incident and tried and convicted the commanding officers in 1943-44. Other trials would follow. During the 1960s, a novel and film telling the story of the massacre sparked the first public open debate about the Hungarian Holocaust.This book examines public contentions over the Novi Sad massacre from its inception in 1942 until the final trial in 2011. It demonstrates how attitudes changed over time toward this war crime and the Holocaust through different political regimes and in Hungarian society. The book also views how the larger European context influenced Hungarian debates, and how Yugoslavia dealt with memories of the massacre.
Анализируются письменные обращения жителей блокадного Ленинграда к руководителям города. Источниковую базу статьи составили около 400 писем блокадников, сохранившиеся в архивном фонде ...Продовольственной комиссии Военного совета Ленинградского фронта, а также свидетельства об апелляциях горожан к руководителям Ленинграда из официальных документов, дневников, писем периода блокады, воспоминаний и интервью более позднего времени. Исследование позволяет выявить нужды, интересы, стремления, недовольство, надежды многих ленинградцев, судить о причинах, поводах и целях написания обращений, их структуре, содержании и представлениях апеллянтов о себе, ситуации в городе, власти в условиях вражеской осады. Рассматриваются форма, язык, стиль писем во власть, виды бумаги, на которой писали ленинградцы. Апелляции к руководителям города не были распространенной практикой. Однако само их появление и содержание выступают важным свидетельством положения в Ленинграде, морально-психологического состояния и стратегий выживания блокадников. Понимая прагматичное отношение власти к населению города, многие авторы писем сообщали о своих заслугах, стремились убедить адресата в своей нужности. Нередко обращение представляло собой вопль о помощи человека, находившегося в отчаянном положении. Особенно безотрадными были письма блокадников-одиночек, получавших иждивенческие карточки. Отчетливо обнажившееся в условиях блокады неравенство, разница в нормах питания вызывали недовольство. Анализируются особенно критичные по отношению к работникам снабжения и торговли письма, которые отражали распространенные в осажденном городе настроения. Изучены обращения, содержащие предложения, критику и обвинения в адрес власть имущих. В статье приводятся сведения о результатах рассмотрения письменных обращений блокадников, анализируются превалирование и причины властных отказов в помощи. В соответствии с властными установками обычные блокадники должны были быть героями-победителями, но никак не жалкими, слабыми «моральными дистрофиками» и жертвами. Делается заключение, что письма к властям парадоксальным образом сочетали в себе приверженность патернализму, стремление воспользоваться возможностями государственной системы распределения, ее привилегиями, льготами, с одной стороны, и инициативу, упование на собственные силы – с другой.
Рассматриваются процесс формирования фонда и особенности военно-исторической экспозиции Музея истории развития образования города Барнаула. Учреждение действует с 2008 г. под руководством О.В. ...Какоткиной. Фонд музея — более 12,5 тыс. предметов. Значительное внимание уделено комплектованию коллекций, отражающих события военного времени. Анализируется экспозиция зала «Образование в Барнауле в годы Великой Отечественной войны (1941-1945 гг.)». Экспозиция была выполнена сотрудниками музея и художником-оформителем Н.А. Бурдиной. При создании экспозиции соблюдены принципы научности, предметности и коммуникативности. В разделах экспозиции представлено более 230 экспонатов: письма; фотографии; награды; архивные документы, предметы быта 19301940-х гг., артефакты, полученные в результате раскопок на местах боев в Новгородской области, и т.д. Для их размещения использовано разнообразное современное музейное оборудование. Ежегодно музей посещает около 7000 человек. Они знакомятся с экспозицией зала во время проведения музейных мероприятий или самостоятельно. Отмечено, что деятельность музея важна для сохранения, изучения и пропаганды наследия барнаульских педагогов.

The results of historical and medical research reflecting the state of children's healthcare system during the most difficult period of our country history — World War II, 1941-1945 yy. — are ...presented in the article. The aim of this research is to show how the most tough challenges of children's healthcare were solved according to the archive and literature sources. The relevance of the study is determined by the fact that most of the works on this topic were carried out in the Soviet era, so because it was ideology-driven, these works could not show the real picture. Rare studies of the post-Soviet era about situation with children's health during the war are fragmented or have been performed only in some regions. The analysis of the performed study has shown that (despite the extraordinary circumstances of wartime) all the actions performed by central and local health authorities for children health maintenance could be considered as successful. The following tasks were solved: control of infection as the primary cause of children mortality, sensible food security during shortage or even lack of necessary products, implementation of medical help for evacuated children, restoring of paediatric services on the territories that were rid of occupation.
