In the present study, the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method was utilized to explore the rheological behavior of the flat solar collector. ANSYS 16.1 has been used to do an analysis on the ...drafted three-dimensional model. In order to investigate the heat transmission from the solar panel to the fluid, a CFD tool has been used. The effectiveness of the heat transfer across the entire system has been evaluated with the help of Nano fluid. Both 0.3 and 0.5 meters per second might be considered the speed of the water. These results have been compared to others and validated in accordance with those standards. The most recent findings from this line of investigation have shown that include a greater number of specifics in the working fluid of the system can contribute to an increase in the temperature at which the solar plate discharges its heat. In addition to this, it is possible to get the highest possible temperature by bringing the velocity value down to its lowest possible range.

Sheet metal forming is widely used in automotive and aerospace industry. In this paper analysis of sheet metal forming process by deep drawing was discussed. Static analysis on the deep drawing ...operation was carried out to find the stresses, strains and total deformation of deep drawing cup. CAD models are generated using CATIA from the dimensions obtained by theoretical calculations and analysis is carried out using ANSYS software. The force required to develop the cup, deformation and defect like tearing, wrinkles etc. can be obtained through simulation. By using this method it is easy to make stress and strain analysis for different materials. From the analysis, it is observed that Titanium has the maximum stress with standing ability when compared to copper and Aluminum.
The paper describes commissioning of the inductive heater based on numerical simulation of inductive heating in the hypervapotron sample and test channel. The HEFEL loop is being developed to ...research a high heat flux cooling channels applicable in fusion devices. The Box Scraper hypervapotron channel geometry represents a primary focus of research. Conditions in the first wall of tokamak are simulated by induction heating of the tested hypervapotron channel. The exact heat flux of tested sample is difficult to measure, thus the numerical simulation of induction heating and thermohydraulic model of the cooling channel are an important part of HEFEL loop commissioning. ANSYS Maxwell 3D and ANSYS Fluent coupling is used for optimalization of the induction heating to achieve the highest heat fluxes using selected induction heating source.

This present work, examines the tensile behavior of ...the fabricated specimen and finite element modeling based tensile specimen. Experimental tensile specimens are examined through ultimate testing machine (UTM). The modeling of the tensile specimen has been developed in ANSYS 12.0 for finite element analysis, which are the most standard CAE tools. Tensile load values are calculated by experimental method and that load values are given as input to the FEA analysis. The finite element outcomes employing ANSYS APDL software exhibiting stresses and deflections were confirmed with experimental upshots and analytical outcomes.

This paper presents an innovative approach by employing experimental and analytical methods to examine the impact of temperature changes in flue gases following combustion on design.
Thermal performance experiments conducted on chimney samples have shown that a 2 mm axial expansion, resulting from thermal expansion, affects support designs. To analyze the impact of this often-neglected elongation in support designs and the axial movements caused by temperature, tensile tests were applied to five double-riveted samples with a diameter of 4.8. Subsequently, finite element analyses were conducted on the same model. The ratio between the stress results of the tensile tests and the finite element analysis was found to be 1.04, consistent with the literature. Following the validation of the tensile test, an analytical approach was developed by incorporating forces neglected due to expansion. This approach was complemented by an optimization study to improve the placement of rivets on the plate, for which a code was written. When run on a sample model, the code determined that the coordinates of the six rivets should be (119,50), (97,88), (53,88), (31,50), (53,12), and (97,12), respectively, within the constraints. Additionally, the code was executed with different optimization techniques to compare the results for composite force, number of rivets, circular radius, and coordinates.
Furthermore, to observe the effect of temperature on chimney draft, calculations were made for different diameters like Ø 200, Ø 225, and Ø 250. It was observed that as the temperature increased towards 450 °C, there was an increase in pressure difference up to the saturation point.
The findings may contribute to the existing literature for researchers and practitioners in this field. Additionally, the presented code offers the capability to quickly calculate the distribution of any fasteners on the plate according to the given data, without the need for a tensile test, finite element analysis, or any other numerical calculation method.
