Kljub tehnološkemu napredku zadnjih stoletij in desetletij se še vedno soočamo s problematiko prikaza in upodobitve barve v različnih medijih in ohranjanja zaznave barve. Ena od možnosti, za katero ...se lahko odločimo pri zagotavljanju stalne barvne zaznave, so modeli barvnega zaznavanja. Trenutno je aktualen CIECAM02, ki se še vedno ne uporablja v 3D računalniški grafi ki, s katero se vsak dan srečujemo. Namen raziskave je bil pregled barvnih prostorov v 3D računalniški grafiki, pregled reprodukcije barv in materialov, algoritmov za senčenje ter izbranih sodobnih tehnologij upodabljanja za doseganje korektne končne vizualizacije. V nadaljevanju smo želeli proučiti model barvnega zaznavanja CIECAM02 do te mere, da bi ga lahko uporabili v povezavi s 3D računalniško grafiko. V ta namen smo v programu Blender postavili testno sceno in jo upodobili s tremi upodobljevalniki: Blender Render in Cycles, ki sta že vgrajena, in z dodatkom Yafaray. Izkazalo se je, da CIECAM02 lahko uporabimo tudi v 3D prostoru in da z njegovo uporabo dobimo boljše rezultate ujemanja barv pri spremembi ozadja. Poleg tega smo ugotovili, da barv ne upodabljajo vsi upodobljevalniki enako. Omenjena raziskava je aktualna za vse, ki želijo svoje dvo- ali tridimezionalne izdelke predstaviti s pomočjo 3D računalniške grafike, torej tudi za področje vizualizacij oblačil in tekstilnih izdelkov, ki se uporabljajo pri modnem oblikovanju in oblikovanju interjerjev, avtomobilski, navtični in letalski industriji ter tudi širše, kjer so dovršene 3D vizualizacije tekstilij in oblačil nepogrešljivi element vizualnih in grafičnih komunikacij.
The Maryland House of Delegates passed legislation yesterday aimed at ending what Majority Leader Kumar P. Barve called the "most gigantic tax loophole on the books," referring to a strategy mostly ...used by big-ticket real estate developers that critics say costs the state tens of millions of dollars. Del. Gail H. Bates, a Howard County Republican, also said the bill doesn't fully close the loophole because deals could still be structured so as not to trigger a tax bill. Barve conceded that "skillful lawyers and accountants" might still try to avoid taxes in real estate transactions but that this would only be in limited cases. And, he said, that shouldn't deter the legislature from trying to stop them.
Matt Rossi lost his team 21 miles outside of Nikolai and hitched the remaining 27 miles on the sled of fellow musher Gerry Sousa of Talkeetna, according to race judge Lavon Barve. When Rossi arrived ...onboard Sousa's sled at 8:20 p.m., Thursday, he immediately told Mike Cox what happened. Cox called for two locals to drive snowmachines and help Rossi retrace his steps to find the runaways. The mishap occurred 21 miles into Rossi's run from Nikolai to MCGRATH. Rossi left Nikolai at 2:26 p.m. Thursday, and along the way had to stop the team.

On HDFC MF's ...investment approach, Barve says: "We would always like to be a no-surprise fund." For instance, HDFC MF launched just three schemes, including a gold fund, during the boom time of 2003 to 2008, while its rivals launched four to five schemes each year. "You have to keep your product simple," says Barve. "Our new products are driven by the investment team, not the marketing team." A year ago, Barve took up chairmanship of Association of Mutual Funds of India. "The penetration of mutual funds is very low in India despite large AUMs of the industry," he says. "We all need to work on it." It is a new orbit for the head of India's best fund house.

At the mere mention of the success of Maryland's horse industry, or lack thereof, one word inevitably comes to mind: slots.Proponents of legalizing slots have argued it could save the troubled ...industry, and as a result protect more farmland and preserve the state's rich equine history.But, Del. A. Wade Kach, R-Baltimore County and Carroll, said slots did not motivate his introduction of HB 1361 to require an independent study of the health of Maryland's horse industry that would culminate in recommendations for making the industry competitive with surrounding states.This has really nothing to do with slots. When you think of the slots debate, one of the questions was 'what kind of assistance does the Maryland racing industry need so that they're going to be competitive with neighboring states?'

Robert Ehrlich as he announced Monday he had vetoed a medical malpractice reform bill ...passed only days before. Dr. Schipper will continue to practice gynecology in Frederick, he said. His two colleagues at Frederick OB/GYN will continue obstetrics for a year, then gauge the success of reforms before deciding if they will remain in practice. Dr. Schipper said he came to Annapolis to support the governor with the full backing of the obstetrics department of Frederick Memorial Hospital. The Foris Group will "continue to provide health care services," Mr. Kumar Barve said. "So when we are voting to override the governor's veto of this very well-drafted compromise, we are basically saying with our votes that we want the people of Frederick, and the rest of Maryland to continue to have access to quality health care."
