On 9 November 1456, Ulrich II, the last Count of Celje, was murdered in Belgrade. Not long afterwards, Celje fell under the rule of the Habsburg Emperor Frederick III, who set the new foundations for ...the city’s autonomy. The account book of the city judges of Celje, which is kept in the Styrian Provincial Archives in Graz – the oldest source of this kind from the territory of the present-day Slovenia – documents in detail the first fifty years of operations and transactions conducted by the new city authorities and brings an abundance of interesting features from the late medieval urban daily life. The source is published in its original language and parallel Slovenian translation, with an added scholarly introduction that provides the reader with an insight into Celje’s self-administration, development and medieval accounting systems, as well as presents the manuscript of the published source, together with the measuring and monetary systems used therein.
Soil samples (0 to 5 cm) from 30 locations in the Celje region, Slovenia, an area that has been subjected to severe industrial emissions of Pb and Zn, were analyzed for selected soil properties and ...subjected to a six-step sequential extraction of Pb and Zn. Phyto-available forms of heavy metals: soluble in soil solution and exchangeable from soil colloids to soil solution together accounted for 0 to 1.68% of Pb and 0 to 40.8% of total soil Zn. Most of the Pb and Zn was found to reside in less labile forms bound to carbonate (2.04 to 43.5% Pb, 3.9 to 35.1% Zn), bound to Fe and Mn oxides (0 to 16.1% Pb, 1.4 to 25.4% Zn), bound to organic matter (35.8 to 71.1% Pb, 14.8 to 56.2% Zn), and in the residual fraction (10.4 to 53.4% Pb, 14.2 to 75.3% Zn). Factor analysis and stepwise multiple regression revealed that the concentration of Pb in the proposed indicator plant, narrow leaf plantain (Plantago lanceolata) did not correlate with the measured soil properties, Pb fractionation in soil, and total soil Pb. Plant uptake of Zn, however, significantly correlated with soil pH and with the share of phyto-available forms of Zn in the soil (R
2
= 86.9). A statistically significant correlation (P<0.01) was found between the fractions of Pb and Zn carbonates and soil organic matter content (R
2
= 90.6 and 90.9, respectively); the fraction of Pb bound to organic matter and soil organic matter content (R
2
= 90.6); the residual fraction of Pb and total Pb content in soil (R
2
= 95.7); the fraction of Zn bound to Fe an Mn oxides, the fraction of Zn bound to organic matter, the residual fraction of Zn and total Zn content in soil (R
2
= 75.9, 93.2, and 87.4, respectively). Soil texture, pH, and cation exchange capacity did not affect the relative proportions of Pb and Zn forms in soil.

V razvalino seje spremenil v 17. stoletju.
The path that led to the formal opening of Celje Hospital 120 years ago had its beginnings in a medieval town almshouse. Years of commitment to institutionalising inpatient treatment finally led to ...results in 1887 when the new Giselle's Hospital, named after the emperor's daughter, was solemnly opened by the heir to the throne, Archduke Rudolph. Since its establishment- in addition to the promotion of healthy life-styles and health management, changes in methods of financing and problems such as floods- the hospital's primary value has been caring for the sick. This has been reflected in the work of physicians, nurses, female caregivers abnd other personnel; as the years passed, this attitude on the part of medical professionals toward patients increased the sense of confidence in the hospital. The local environment knew how to return such confidence, when it first supported the project of the extension and then also modernisation of the hospital, which is still underway. Today, Celje General Hospital holds an important position in the Slovenian public health system: as the third largest hospital in Slovenia, it includes 1600 employees and annually treats 35,000 inpatients and 260,000 people as part of the specialist and outpatient system. Within its period of growth the hospital has developed in almost every medical field. Today, we are committed to gaining the status of a clinical hospital, strengthening research activities and constantly improving quality. The motto that represents the mission of the employees of Celje Hospital also embodies the same spirit: "Devoted to life".

In naslov modne revije? Izziv 000.

Errors attested in Celeian inscriptions are a reflection of Latin language that was actually spoken in everyday life by ordinary people. When studying Vulgar Latin, it is possible to observe the ...development of a language, which ended in Romance languages. Some attested mistakes are of a technical nature; but the greater part of them were made on account of the language development. Differences between the town and ager are expected more errors can be found in ager and these are of a greater importance; in the town they are mostly of a marginal character. It can be concluded that the town - Celeia itself - was romanized sooner and more comprehensively. The analysis of the vocabulary and linguistic peculiarities on the inscriptions of Celeia and its adjacent areas confirms the important role of the town, which became the center of Romanization for southern Noricum . Due to the character of inscriptions in the town as in ager there can be seen phonetic, spelling and morphological errors. Syntactic and discourse specifics and those connected with vocabulary are nothing more than isolated examples written in those few inscriptions, which none the less exceed rigid form of abbreviations and basic data. Monophtongizations, writings of letter K instead of C, simplifications of double consonants and vowels appear most frequently. These can be considered to be basic changes that arose in the language and left traces there through centuries.
In this paper I will analyse final sonorant sequencesin the Celje variety of Slovene. In §2 various definitions of a consonant cluster will be discussed and the definition needed for further ...development ofthe article will be provided. In §3 I will present pretheoretical arguments against treating all final sonorant sequences as consonant clusters. In addition, a seemingly special behaviour of a small group of sequences will be pointed out. The government phonology framework will be introduced in §4. In §5 the hin the given theoretical framework.
The research which included sampling of attic dust and soils in the town Celje has shown that the environment is contaminated with heavy metals, especially with zinc and cadmium. That is a ...consequence of 100 years of smelting the sphalerite ore in Cinkarna Celje. With the data, that includes concentration of heavy metals in the attic dust on 99 points and the weight of air deposit on 19 points in Celje and its suburbs, is possible to calculate the emissions of heavy metals in the environment. With the help from data of geochemical background is possible to estimate the anthropogenic emissions. The calculationsshow, that these emissions of zinc in Celje is 1712 tons and the natural background has been estimated at 207 tons. The similar proportion between anthropogenic and natural emissions can be seen at cadmium (9,1 tons of anthropogenic and 1,4 tons of natural cadmium). The opposite ratio is seen by elements whoose presence is influenced mainly by lithology, for example aluminium (1388 tons of anthropogenic and 11540 tons of natural aluminium.
