Digitalna transformacija proces je koji zahvaća sve segmente gospodarstva, a postojeća poduzeća se u ovakvim uvjetima moraju prilagoditi novim tehnologijama u isto vrijeme dok se stvaraju nova, već ...digitalizirana poduzeća. Ključni element prilagodbe novim uvjetima su pojedinci te njihovo znanje i vještine, a posebice digitalne vještine. Poboljšanje kvalitete i relevantnosti oblikovanja digitalnih vještina te poboljšanje analize potreba za vještinama u različitim djelatnostima postaje prioritet, ali i izazov s kojim se susreće svaka moderna država. Cilj ovoga rada je ispitati stanje na hrvatskom tržištu rada kako bi se utvrdilo je li hrvatska radna snaga spremna za izazove koje donosi novo digitalno doba u ekonomiji. U ovom radu dati će se pregled stvaranja i nestajanja poduzeća u ICT djelatnostima te će se dati pregled stanja digitalnih vještina na tržištu rada Republike Hrvatske. Osim toga, usporedit će se stanje na hrvatskom tržištu rada sa stanjem na tržištima rada država Središnje i Istočne Europe.
