We investigate the role of anomalous gauge boson and fermion couplings in the production of WZ and W+W– pairs at the LHC to next-to-leading-order (NLO) QCD in the Standard Model effective field ...theory (SMEFT), including dimension-six operators. Our results are implemented in a publicly available version of the powheg-box. We combine our WZ results in the leptonic final state eνμ+μ– with previous W+W– results to demonstrate the numerical effects of NLO QCD corrections on the limits on effective couplings derived from ATLAS and CMS 8 and 13 TeV differential measurements. Our study demonstrates the importance of including NLO QCD SMEFT corrections in the WZ analysis, while the effects on WW production are smaller. We also show that the O(1/Λ4) contributions dominate the analysis, where Λ is the high-energy scale associated with the SMEFT.

They have exhibited some characteristic phenomena, such as the reentrant phenomena, when the value of r is larger than r = 1.0 and a transverse field is applied.

A three-body force acting between the η-meson and two nucleons was overlooked inadvertently in the model description and discussion in the published version of our paper “Onset of η-nuclear binding ...in a pionless EFT approach” Phys. Lett. B 771 (2017) 297–302 while present in the actual numerical calculations. The stated conclusion that a stabilizing ηNN contact term was not needed is therefore incorrect. Such a three-body force, associated with a new low energy constant dηNNΛ, must be introduced at leading order to stabilize η-nucleus systems.

Problems that often arise in pre PCI patients are anxiety.Percutaneous Coronary Intervention is one of the techniques that have been invented to open the blood vessels and return blood through the coronary arteries (PCI). PCI, also known as cardiac catheterization, is a procedure that involves inserting one or more catheters into the heart and blood arteries. The catheter is inserted through a peripheral vessel, usually femoral, then non-operatively invasive so that complications can be kept as low as possible. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) can cause complications in the form of myocardial infarction, stroke, arrhythmia and death. This causes a person to feel himself threatened, someone feels himself threatened can cause the effect of Anxiety (anxiety). The problem that often arises in pre PCI patients is anxiety. One of the efforts to overcome anxiety is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This type of research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest with a control group, namely by conducting a pretest in both groups and followed by an intervention in the experimental group and then conducting a posttest in both groups, with a sample of 34 respondents. The results showed that the effect of EFT on the anxiety of pre PCI patients in the intervention group with p-value = 0.000, while in the control group with p-value = 0.650. Furthermore, it is hoped that clients who will undergo PCI will not be hindered from doing PCI because the client has been given Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) therapy.
Higgs decays to gauge boson pairs are a crucial ingredient in the study of Higgs properties, with the decay H → γγ being particularly sensitive to new physics effects. Assuming all potential new ...physics occurs at energies far above the weak scale, deviations from standard model predictions can be parametrized in terms of the coefficients of a standard model effective field theory (SMEFT). When experimental limits on the SMEFT coefficients reach an accuracy of a few percent, predictions must be done beyond the lowest order in the SMEFT in order to match theory and experimental accuracy. This paper completes a program of computing the one-loop electroweak SMEFT corrections to H → VV', V = W+, Z, γ. The calculation of the real contribution to H → W+W-γ is performed by mapping two-loop amplitudes to the three-body phase space.

Organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices often undergo ‘burn-in’ during the early stages of operation, this period describing the relatively rapid drop in power output before stabilising. For normal and ...inverted PBDTTT-EFT:PC71BM OPVs prepared according to current protocols, we identify a critical and severe light-induced burn-in phase that reduces power conversion efficiency by at least 60% after 24 hours simulated AM1.5 illumination. Such losses result primarily from a reduction in photocurrent, and for inverted devices we correlate this process in-situ with the simultaneous emergence of space-chare effects on the μs timescale. The effects of burn in are also found to reduce the lifetime of photogenerated charge carriers, as determine by in-situ transient photovoltage measurements. To identify the underlying mechanisms of this instability, a range of techniques are employed ex-situ to separate bulk- and electrode-specific degradation processes. We find that whilst the active layer nanostructure and kinetics of free charge generation remain unchanged, partial photobleaching (6% of film O.D.) of PBDTTT-EFT:PC71BM occurs alongside an increase in the ground state bleach decay time of PBDTTT-EFT. We hypothesise that this latter observation may reflect relaxation from excited states on PBDTTT-EFT that do not undergo dissociation into free charges. Owing to the poor lifetime of the reference PBDTTT-EFT:PC71BM OPVs, the fabrication protocol is modified to identify routes for stability enhancement in this initially promising solar cell blend.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an alternative treatment method that offers healing from physical and emotional pain and disease. EFT works by tapping on acupressure meridians to release blockages. When these blockages are released, the problem feeling can be released and move through the body. Learning EFT also empowers the client to take charge of handling their emotional state/ controls stress. because they can tap on a feeling any time, they want to move out a painful feeling. Impact of quarantine or PSBB, the restriction of movement of people, is the mental health toll became even steeper including for community of Desa Cibiru Wetan and pharmacist of Kabupaten Sumedang, West Java. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity was to transfer knowledge about the EFT method for stress management during the Covid-19 pandemic for the Desa Cibiru Wetan community and pharmacist in Kabupaten Sumedang, West Java. The stages of this activity began from education about stress and its prevention, and continues with the introduction of the KESET method in managing stress independently. The critical point in this activity is how to transfer knowledge and skills in preparing the participants who use this technique believe tapping the body can create a balance in their energy system and treat pain. The results of the activity showed that community participation could improve the knowledge and ability of participants in handling their emotional state/ controls stress by using KESET method. In conclusion, this activity could be an alternative healing from emotional pain for participants.
El artículo presenta la versión del EFT de H. Sawa sobre las figuras Gottchadt, con las adaptaciones realizadas por el Grupo de Estilos cognitivos, como indicador de la capacidad de reestructuración ...perceptual y, en últimas, del estilo cognitivo en la dimensión de independencia-dependencia de campo. Se examina la consistencia interna del instrumento, su validez estructural y su validez de constructo a partir de los datos recogidos en cuatro diferentes estudios en los que ha sido aplicado (n=6530). Los resultados indican altos niveles de consistencia interna y adecuados niveles de validez estructural del instrumento. La validez de constructo se determina examinando los comportamientos de la prueba frente al sexo y el grado/edad. Los resultados indican que el instrumento se comporta de acuerdo con lo esperado en el constructo. Finalmente, se presentan los baremos del instrumento.
