Therapeutic decision-making for patients with multimorbidity (MM) is challenging. Clinical practice guidelines inadequately address harmful interactions and resulting therapeutic conflicts within and ...among diseases. A patient-specific measure of MM severity that takes account of this conflict is needed.As a proof of concept, we evaluated whether the new Multimorbidity Interaction Severity Index (MISI) could be used to reliably differentiate patients in terms of lower versus higher potential for harmful interactions.Two hypothetical patient cases were generated, each with 6 concurrent morbidities. One case had a low (i.e., low conflict case) and the other a high (i.e., high conflict case) potential for harmful interactions. All possible interactions between conditions and treatments were extracted from each case's record into a multimorbidity interaction matrix. Experienced general internists (N = 18) judged each interaction in the matrix in terms of likely resource utilization needed to manage the interaction. Based on these judgements, a composite index of MM interaction severity, that is, the MISI, was generated for each physician and case.The difference between each physician's MISI score for the 2 cases (MISIdiff) was computed. Based on MISIdiff, the high conflict case was judged to be of significantly greater MM severity than was the low conflict case. The positive values of the inter-quartile range, a measure of variation (or disagreement) between the 2 cases, indicated general consistency of individual physicians in judging MM severity.The data indicate that the MISI can be used to reliably differentiate hypothetical multimorbid patients in terms of lesser versus greater severity of potentially harmful interactive effects. On this basis, the MISI will be further developed for use in patient-specific assessment and management of MM. The clinical relevance of the MISI as an alternative approach to defining MM severity is discussed.

This study aims to analyze the impact of university’s mission, curriculum, and leadership towards student’s attitude of anti-radicalism.The study is undertaken with a quantitative approach by using a multiple regression analysis, in universities implementing ahlusunnah wal jama’ah principles, nationalism, and insight of nationality. The study found that factors such as leadership, curriculum, and mission significantly have positive impact and big contribution toward student’s anti-radicalism attitude . AbstrakBerkembangnya paham radikalisme dan terorisme perlu dicegah sejak dini di lingkungan keluarga, sekolah/perguruan tinggi, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Menyikapi hal ini, lembaga pendidikan perlu membangun sikap anti-radikalisme para peserta didik melalui pengintegrasian nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari misi, kurikulum, dan kepemimpinan perguruan tinggi terhadap perilaku antiradikalisme mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan analisis regresi berganda, yaitu pada perguruan-perguruan tinggi yang mengamalkan faham ahlusunnah wal jama’ah, nasionalisme, dan berwawasan kebangsaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti kepemimpinan, kurikulum, dan misi perguruan tinggi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku anti-radikalisme mahasiswa. Â

Dengan berbagai metode dan sarana yang disusun sistematis dan terorganisir, kegiatan ini bertendensi untuk menjauhkan umat Islam dari ajaran agamanya, serta memecah belah kesatuan dan persatuan umat.
We propose a time reversal and minimum inter-symbol interference (TR-MISI) serial prefilter for indoor wireless communication system. Proposed TR-MISI serial prefilter minimizes inter-symbol ...interference (ISI) and makes received peak power be robust to noise. Since the TR prefilter does not minimize the ISI and the joint zero-forcing and TR prefilter does not guarantee the performance in low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environment, we consider these two facts in designing an optimization problem for proposed TR-MISI serial prefilter. We use the semidefinite relaxation to solve the optimization problem and get a near-optimal solution. The simulation results show that proposed TR-MISI serial prefilter improves the bit error rate performance at overall SNR.
Visi dan misi merupakan tujuan akhir, yang menjadi pedoman bagi aktivitas sekolah dan dapat difungsikan sebagai dasar kekuatan mutu layanan ke peserta didik. Namun, banyak sekolah hanya menjadikan ...visi dan misi sekadar “ada”, tetapi tidak menjadi pedoman yang bermakna bagi penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Sekolah hanya melaksanakan rutinitas tanpa tahu makna dari pelaksanaannya. Bagaimana sekolah mengembangkan kapasitas manajemendalam membangun pemahaman visi misinya? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kapasitas manajemen sekolah dalam membangun pemahaman visi misi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumen/artifact. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan kredibilitas, transferabilitas, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sekolah yang membangun pemahaman visi misi berdasar nilai-nilai luhur pendiri lebih memiliki dasar kuat untuk pengembangan. However, in many schools, the vision mission just "exist" but not be the meaningful guidelines for the implementation of education. The schools just execute school routines without knowing the meaning of the implementation. How is the capacity of school management in building understanding of the vision and mission? The goal of the research is to describe and analyze the capacity of school management in building understanding the vision and mission. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and study of the documents/artifacts. The validity of the data is done with credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The results shows that schools which establish vision and mission based on noble values of the founders have strong base for the development. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan cara untuk mengumpulkan data memakai metode studi literatur. Analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan analisis interaktif melalui tiga tahap yaitu penyajian data, reduksi data serta penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan Model Misi Kreatif-Holistik di Bumi Jawa Pada Masa Kini.
The Impact of Stated Vision, Mission, and Human Resources Peformance on Quality Management of Housing Construction. This research was aimed to investigate the impact of stated vision, mission and ...human resources performance on three aspects of housing construction: (1) the program of quality control and assurance, and (2) the implementation of program of quality control and assurance, and (3) the overall program of quality management. The method used is explanatory research, in which the sample including the director, technical manager, finance manager, site manager, and field supervisor at 16 companies are gathered by purposive random sampling. The result shows that there is significant impact of company’s vision, mission, and human resources performance on (1) the program of quality control and assurance in F (0.000) < 0.05 and R2 = 0.764; (2) the implementation of program of quality control and assurance in F (0.000) < 0.05 and R2 = 0.849; and (3) the overall program of quality management in F (0.000) < 0.05 and R2 = 0.859.
The purpose of this writing is to study the potential of early childhood education (ECE) and nonformal education (NFE), educational indicators based on education mission, and performance of ECE and ...NFE. The method used is documentation or reference study. Analysis is held by descriptive method using educational indicators based on education mission, that is, availability, quality, equality, and assurance of service. The results shows that the potential of seven programs (literacy, ECE, Packet A, Packet B, Packet C and courses) had accommodated 12.9 million students, 575.6 thousand facilitators, and 160.9 thousands organizers. Besides that, based on education mission with the ideal value of100, the value of availability was 84.48, quality was 59.92, equality was 83.85, and services assurance was 73.45 so that the performance became 75.43. To conclude, both ECE and NFE has the lowest performance from its quality and the highest performance from its availability.ABSTRAK Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengkaji potensi layanan pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) dan pendidikan nonformal (PNF), indikator pendidikan berdasarkan misi pendidikan, dan kinerja PAUD dan PNF tahun 2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi dokumentasi atau kepustakaan. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif menggunakan indikator pendidikan berdasarkan misi pendidikan, yaitu ketersediaan, kualitas, kesetaraan, kepastian layanan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa potensi 7 layanan pendidikan (pendidikan keaksaraan (PK), PAUD, TK, Paket A, Paket B, Paket C, dan kursus) telah berhasil menampung 12,9 juta peserta didik, dengan pendidik sebesar 575,6 ribu, dan pengelola sebesar 160,9 ribu. Selain itu, berdasarkan misi pendidikan dengan nilai ideal 100 maka ketersediaan sebesar 84,48, kualitas sebesar 59,92, kesetaraan sebesar 83,85, dan kepastian sebesar 73,45 sehingga kinerjanya menjadi 75,43. Simpulannya, kinerja PAUD dan PNF yang terendah adalah pada kualitas layanan dan yang tertinggi adalah pada ketersediaan layanan.
