Introducción: El acoso psicológico en el entorno médico parece ser parte inherente de su entrenamiento, y sus repercusiones entre los residentes han sido desestimadas. Objetivo: Evaluar la asociación ...del acoso psicológico y el desgaste profesional en médicos residentes de la Ciudad de México. Método: Estudio transversal en el que participaron 251 residentes, 44% hombres y 56% mujeres, con edad promedio de 27.2 (DE ± 3.5) años. La evaluación se realizó siete meses después del inicio del año académico con el Inventario de Burnout de Psicólogos (IBP) adaptado a médicos, el Leymann Inventory of Psychological-Terrorization (LIPT-60) y un cuestionario de datos sociodemográficos. Resultados: El desgaste profesional se explicó en un 23% por las variables de especialidad cursada, año de residencia y frecuencia del acoso psicológico (FEAP) (p < .0001); el género, la intensidad del acoso (IMAP) y el índice global de acoso (IGAP) no fueron significativos dentro de este modelo. Conclusiones: La presencia de acoso tiene consecuencias en la salud mental (cansancio emocional), desempeño (falta de realización personal) de quien lo recibe, así como implicaciones en la relación médico-paciente (despersonalización). Se observa que la frecuencia con que se realiza el acoso es el principal elemento asociado al incremento de síntomas de desgaste profesional.
INTRODUCTION: Mobbing has been indicated to have psychological and physical effects on employees, and it has been the subject of investigations performed in many different sectors. This study was ...performed with the intention to determine correlations (if any) between local workers (native inhabitants of the concerned province), and foregn workers (those coming from another province) employed in a state hospital situated in the Black Sea Region with respect to exposure to mobbing, and also between mobbing,and some demographic variables. METHODS: A survey employed to gather data from the health organizations staff in Public Hospital included; doctors, nurses and other health staff members. Interviews were used and questionnaires were distributed to the hospitals with a final sample of 160 respondents. Statistical analysis of the data were conducted with the use and in the statistical environments of the SPSS software-package. RESULTS: As an outcome of the study, mobbing behaviour of employees differed significantly according to the city they come from (native inhabitants, and foreigners). Also, workers from other provinces are exposed to mobbing more frequently than the native ones. In addition, other demographic characteristics of mobbing behaviours differ significantly. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION: It was concluded that exposure to mobbing behaviours differed according to the age, title, and educational status of the employees, but a significant difference was not found as for exposure to mobbing behaviour regarding the marital status and experience of the health care workers.
Bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment in the workplace are not new issues; they have always existed in various forms. Recent studies have highlighted their impacts on workers and their ...well-being at work. However, the perception of these problems differ across the United States, Europe, and Asia. These differences are reflected not only in terms of sensitivities, workplace policies, and relevant laws, but also in the language/vocabulary used to designate the same. Psychological harassment is a bitter issue for many who are affected by it. Unfortunately, it remains a less popular topic in academic research. This may be due to the sensitivity associated with the topic, the possible shame and value judgements of those involved, and the myriad cultural differences that complicate its perceptions. This study deals with the characteristics of psychological harassment in workplaces across Hungary and Slovakia. It addresses the following questions: How are the sources of psychological bullying perceived in the two countries, how do victims tolerate the abuse they are subjected to, and what factors influence the same. The study also examines whether the company’s tools for combating psychological bullying in the workplace have an impact on an employee’s decision to leave the organization as a result of mobbing. It conducted quantitative surveys involving 500 Hungarian and 108 Slovakian employees. The results were analyzed by the authors using SPSS version 28 with univariate and multivariate statistical methods. Frequency analysis, ANOVA, T- test and factor analysis, among others, were performed. The results show that the perception of the sources of psychological bullying and the tolerance of the related phenomena depend on a number of personal factors. However, the tools that firms use to deal with mobbing do not necessarily play a determining role in an employee’s decision to leave their workplace following psychological harassment.

Analyzing litigation in moral harassment cases raises research questions that legal methods cannot always provide an answer for. By contrast, epidemiological methods can provide detailed descriptions ...and analyses of the elements associated with the court order. Using the JURICA French database, we analyzed judgements for moral harassment at work that were handed down by the Court of Appeal in Aquitaine, France, and identified the elements associated with the court order. Of the 136 selected judgements, 38 dealt with a moral harassment situation as determined by the judges. A situation of moral harassment was more frequently concluded when the victim was a woman, when a consultation with a medical doctor was followed by sick leave, when discrimination was indicated, and when management decisions were questioned.
Psychological bullying at work or mobbing is considered a severe psychosocial stressor that can
seriously affect the daily functioning of those who suffer from it. In recent years, harassment
...research has spread to a wide variety of countries; however, its empirical study in Spanishspeaking countries is scarce, so it was considered important to venture into the study of the
subject reflected in the professionals who perform the functions of the secretariat at the
Technical University of Manabí (UTM). In the work the development and factor validation of the
Psychological Harassment at Work Questionnaire (CAPT) is exposed, analyzing the structure of
the same and the existing structural interdependence between them. The questionnaire was
applied to a sample of 50 professionals who perform the functions of the secretariat in the UTM.
Both the exploratory and confirmatory factorial analyzes indicate that the three-factor model of
the CAPT presents a good fit to the data, finding high reliability indices for almost all the CAPT
scales, evidencing relationships among them that confirm the theoretical structure proposed. .
The three dimensions of the questionnaire explained 72.6% of the total variance. In general, the
CAPT proved to be a valid and reliable measure to assess psychological harassment.
El acoso psicológico en el trabajo o mobbing es considerado un severo estresor psicosocial que
puede afectar seriamente el funcionamiento cotidiano de aquellos que lo padecen. En los
últimos años, la investigación sobre acoso se ha extendido a una amplia variedad de países;
sin embargo, su estudio empírico en países de habla hispana es escaso, por lo que se
consideró importante incursionar en el estudio del tema reflejado en los profesionales que
desempeñan las funciones del secretariado en la Universidad Técnica de Manabí (UTM). En el
trabajo se expone el desarrollo y validación factorial del Cuestionario de Acoso Psicológico en
el Trabajo (CAPT), analizando la estructura del mismo y la interdependencia estructural
existente entre ellas. El cuestionario fue aplicado a una muestra de 50 profesionales que se
desempeñan en las funciones del secretariado en la UTM. Tanto los análisis factoriales
exploratorios como los confirmatorios indican que el modelo de tres factores del CAPT presenta
un buen ajuste a los datos, hallándose índices de fiabilidad elevados para casi la totalidad de
las escalas del CAPT, evidenciándose relaciones entre ellas que confirman la estructura teórica
planteada. Las tres dimensiones del cuestionario explicaron el 72.6% de la varianza total. En
general, el CAPT demostró ser una medida válida y fiable para evaluar acoso psicológico.

At the present stage of societal development, the social phenomena and processes that used to be considered undesirable, negative, and even obscene as recently as in the last century are, ...unfortunately, becoming increasingly widespread. Mobbing, which implies psychological harassment of individual members of the workforce, undoubtedly must be recognized as one of such phenomena. Mobbing has reached such a great scale in many countries of the world that it can no longer be ignored. Meanwhile, it has to be admitted that society has not yet developed a universal view of mobbing as a purely adverse phenomenon or process. In this regard, studies aimed at the quantitative assessment and statistical evaluation of the main parameters of mobbing at a time when applied science is clearly and noticeably lagging behind the actual needs of society are of great scientific and applied interest. As a result, there is still no logically justified system of indicators of mobbing, which would allow its comprehensive characterization, as well as answering complex questions about the actual position and role of such a social phenomenon. The study analyzes the specific features of a quantitative assessment of mobbing, explores the possible approaches to creating a system of mobbing indicators, and provides proposals for the systematization of mobbing indicators allowing to assess not only the scale but also the socio-economic consequences of mobbing.
En la etapa actual de desarrollo de la sociedad, los fenómenos y procesos sociales que solían considerarse indeseables, negativos e incluso obscenos en fechas tan recientes como el siglo pasado, están cada vez más extendidos. El mobbing, que implica el acoso psicológico de empleados, debe reconocerse sin duda como uno de esos fenómenos. El mobbing ha alcanzado tal magnitud en muchos países del mundo que ya no puede ser ignorado. Mientras tanto, hay que admitir que la sociedad aún no ha desarrollado una visión universal del mobbing como un fenómeno o proceso puramente adverso. En este sentido, los estudios destinados a la evaluación cuantitativa y estadística de los principales parámetros del mobbing, en un momento en que la ciencia aplicada está clara y notablemente retrasada con respecto a las necesidades reales de la sociedad, son de gran interés científico y aplicado. En consecuencia, todavía no existe un sistema de indicadores de mobbing lógicamente justificado, que permita su caracterización integral, así como responder a preguntas complejas sobre la posición y el papel real de dicho fenómeno social. El estudio analiza las características específicas de una evaluación cuantitativa del mobbing, explora los posibles enfoques para la creación de un sistema de indicadores de mobbing y ofrece propuestas para la sistematización de indicadores de mobbing que permitan evaluar no sólo la escala sino también las consecuencias socioeconómicas del mobbing.
Las situaciones de acoso laboral se han multiplicado y han dejado de ser propias de una u otra sociedad para hacerse una realidad común a nuestros tiempos. Se ha intentado dar solución a esta ...problemática desde el diseño de políticas legislativas, pero también es importante considerar y cuestionar el papel de los sindicatos.
En este art´´´´´´ículo, la autora evalúa, desde una muestra de plataformas web, el impacto y la presencia de los sindicatos en acciones efectivas para prevenir y reducir el acoso moral en los centros de trabajos de Brasil. Para ello, considera el análisis de jurisprudencia comparada, acuerdos sindicales y noticias tanto de centros de la región como de otros sistemas ante estos casos son considerados.
L’analyse du contentieux du harcèlement moral pose des questions de recherche
auxquelles la méthode juridique ne permet pas toujours de répondre. Les trop
rares études contentieuses portent davantage ...sur la mobilisation des règles que
sur les facteurs de la décision du juge. Les méthodes de l’épidémiologie qui
permettent une description détaillée et une analyse des éléments associés aux
décisions du juge peuvent offrir un point de vue original sur le contentieux. À
partir de la base JURICA, nous avons décrit les arrêts des cours d’appel
d’Aquitaine (France) de l’année 2011 traitant de situations de harcèlement moral
au travail et mis en évidence les éléments associés à sa reconnaissance par le
juge. Parmi les 136 arrêts identifiés comme traitant spécifiquement du
harcèlement moral, dans 38 cas la qualification a été retenue par le juge. Cette
qualification était plus fréquente quand la victime était une femme, lorsqu’une
consultation avec un médecin avait mené à un arrêt maladie, lorsqu’une
discrimination ou des nuisances liées au management avaient été évoquées.
This research examines the role of colleagues' helping behavior in workplace bullying. Although colleagues are often able to intervene to support the victim or stop the bullying, passive behavior and ...nonintervention are more frequent. The bystander effect described by Latané and Darley (1970) has been studied in the context of school bullying and sexual harassment, but only rarely has it been studied in the context of workplace bullying. We tested the influence of the belief in a just world for others, self-efficacy, perceived severity, and causal attribution as determinants of three types of bystander helping behavior. We used a vignette describing a case of bullying in a vertically organized workplace in an online questionnaire survey, which was completed by 194 workers. The results showed that low self-efficacy was associated with nonintervention, that perceived severity mainly determined public helping behavior, and that both internal and external causal attributions contributed to explaining both emotional and public support for the harassed colleague. The results highlight the importance of training to increase awareness and recognition of bullying phenomena among colleagues.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar, construir y validar una escala para medir el acoso cibernético o cyberbullying en un ambiente laboral. El diseño que se utilizó fue el cuantitativo, no ...experimental y transversal; y el método de investigación se basó en la Teoría de Respuesta al Reactivo. Esta investigación produjo una escala validada con una muestra del ambiente laboral en Puerto Rico. Se realizaron tres análisis: validez de contenido, análisis de confiabilidad del coeficiente alfa de Cronbach y validez de constructo tipo divergente. A través del análisis de los resultados, se concluyó que la escala es útil para lo que fue diseñada. El construir una escala que mida el cyberbullying contribuyó al diseño de nuevos instrumentos y a la revisión de los ya existentes. Además, sirve de base para futuras investigaciones relacionadas con el tema del cyberbullying.
