The aim of this article is to analyse the presence of merchants from the Croatian lands in the towns of Slovenian Styria, based on the archival sources and scholarly literature. Franc Ignac grof Inzaghi (1691–1768) je bil nadžupnik in dekan ptujske župnijske cerkve sv. Jurija od leta 1731 do smrti. Članek želi osvežiti védenje o grofovem pri spevku k videzu in opremi ...cerkve, opozarja pa tudi na Inzaghijevo prizadevanje, da bi pridobil papeževo dovo- ljenje za češčenje sv. Viktorina, prvega latinskega ekse- geta in prvega po imenu znanega škofa v Petovioni, ki je umrl mučeniške smrti leta 303. Prispevek podaja stanje raziskav o zgodnjem krščanstvu v Petovioni, predstavlja sv. Viktorina in rodbino Inzaghi, osredotoča pa se na ureditev kapele Žalostne Matere božje in stropno poslikavo v kapeli, delo ptujskega slikarja Franca Antona Pachmayerja in njegovega pomočnika Antona Lerchingerja (1741). Avtorica je skušala prepoznati ikonografski program poslikave, ki jo je primerjala z Viktorinovim komentarjem Apokalipse. Podala je hipotezo, da so v južnem stranskem polju upodobljeni sv. Viktorin in več oseb iz Stare zaveze, o katerih je razpravljal sv. Viktorin.
Namen prispevka je opis dejavnosti vladarja Notranje Avstrije nadvojvode Karla II. Habsburžana na Ptuju v avgustu leta 1578. Kot širši okvir pa je prispevek v prvem delu namenjen njegovim potovanjem ...po slovenskem prostoru v 60. in 70. letih 16. stoletja. Karel je namreč v funkciji vladarja večkrat prišel in bival na Slovenskem. Avtorja sta preučila več virov, predvsem dokumentacijo, ki jo hranijo avstrijski arhivi. V zadnjem delu so tudi predstavljeni dokumenti, ki pričajo o Karlovi dejavnosti poleti 1578, ko je mesec dni bival na Ptuju.
Tema raziskave so deželni zbori, ki so se na Štajerskem dogajali med letoma 1246 in 1311. Tam so se zbirali plemiči, ki so bili člani štajerske deželne zveze. Reševali so medsebojne spore ter ...razpravljali o odprtih vprašanjih. V obravnavanem času se je odvilo 39 deželnih zborov, ki jih lahko zasledimo v virih. Sodelovali so plemiči iz celotne vojvodine, pa tudi od drugod. Namen raziskave je bil predstaviti deželne zbore glede na geografski izvor udeležencev ter izpostaviti udeležence iz današnje slovenske Štajerske.
Ciklus fresaka u crkvi Majke Božje Koruške1 u Križevcima, izvedenih 1726., poznat je u historijsko-umjetničkoj literaturi, te je prepoznat kao važan opus na početku prodora kasnobaroknog iluzionizma ...u hrvatske zemlje. Međutim, još uvijek nije na zadovoljavajući način atribuiran, čak niti kontekstualiziran. Povezivan je s imenima pavlinskih slikara Franje Bobiča i Ivana Krstitelja Rangera, odnosno s pavlinskim slikarskim krugom općenito. S druge strane uočena je poveznica s donještajerskim slikarstvom, posebno opusom slikara Franza Ignaza Josefa Flurera. Na temelju komparativne analize autor odbacuje pavlinske veze, te predlaže atribuciju freske bliskom suradniku – sljedbeniku štajerskog majstora Flurera.

Roman gold jewellery, which was excavated in Ptuj (Poetovio) and consists of a necklace, earrings and a braceletwith embedded emeralds, is part of the Slovenian archaeological artefacts collections. ...Crystallographic characteristics,inclusions, luminous phenomena and geological characteristics were determined in order to establish theorigin of the emeralds. Chemical composition of the emeralds was determined non-destructively using the methodsof proton-induced X-rays and gamma rays (PIXE/PIGE). The results were compared with reference emeraldsfrom Habachtal in Austria and with green beryls from the Ural Mts. Literature data for emeralds from Egypt andmodern-day Afghanistan area were used to interpret the results. Specifically, these sites were known for emeraldsbeing mined for jewellery in Roman times. It was assumed that emeralds from archaeological artefacts originatedfrom Habachtal in Austria, given that this site was the nearest to the place where found. But the emeralds fromthe necklace and earrings in fact came from Egyptian deposits. The origin of emeralds from the bracelet could nothave been determined absolutely reliably due to the lack of comparative materials; they may originate from a site inmodern-day Afghanistan or from Egypt, but certainly not from the same site as the previously mentioned emeraldsin the necklace and earrings.
Alongside analysing the oldest records of Roman inscriptions of Austria, this work particularly emphasizes the antiquarian-epigraphic collecting activity which can be noted in the area of Austria as ...a consequence of the spreading humanistic attitude. It focuses on the question, whether Augustinus Prygl Tyfernus is actually to be identified as the so-called „Antiquus Austriacus” as has been pleaded repeatedly. The examination of a number of relevant known and hitherto extensively unknown copies shows that the “Antiquus-Austriacus-Collection“ is not a homogeneous compilation by a single “auctor antiquissimus” but rather an anthology derived from different copies of varying quality, collected by Johannes Fuchsmagen.
Neben den ältesten Abschriften norischer Inschriften richtet sich der Blick vor allem auf die antiquarisch-epigraphische Sammeltätigkeit, die mit der Verbreitung humanistischen Gedankengutes auch im österreichischen Raum einsetzt. Besonderes Augenmerk gilt der Frage, ob der sogenannte „Antiquus Austriacus“ tatsächlich mit Augustinus Prygl Tyfernus zu identifizieren ist, wofür bisher mehrfach plädiert worden ist. Durch die detaillierte Untersuchung und Gegenüberstellung bereits bekannter Sammlungen sowie bisher kaum beachteter Handschriften zeigt sich schließlich, dass es sich bei der „Antiquus-Austriacus-Sammlung“ nicht um eine homogene Zusammenstellung eines einzigen „auctor antiquissimus“ handelt, sondern um ein Produkt aus unterschiedlichen Abschriften, hinter dem sich die Sammeltätigkeit von Johannes Fuchsmagen verbirgt.

The article contains a new attempt at delimiting the territory of the Roman city of Poetovio. It is a topic tackled in few studies by the past and the article begins with their brief presentation. In ...the absence of boundary stones or other clear markers, the boundary was sought through the use of Thiessen polygons and GIS analyses, which were then compared to the few existing literary sources, as well as archaeological and epigraphic finds. The results enabled a theoretical boundary of Poetovio’s territory to be proposed, with the most problematic part being its northern boundary.
