Bontempellijevo delo na področju pripovedništva, esejistike in publicistike zaznamujeta zavračanje relativizma ter zahteva po novih ontoloških in estetskih temeljih znotraj kulture, ki je ...pripravljena v isti meri preseči tako poznoromantično kot tudi avantgardno izkušnjo. Med zahtevami sta umetnost in literatura, ki sta sposobni refleksije lastnega obdobja brez sprejemanja gole slučajnosti, pa tudi zahteva po delih, ki se sučejo okrog modernih mitov in ki jih ne zaznamuje avtorjeva subjektivnost, podobno kot je veljalo za klasična mitološka dela.
Bontempelli se v svojem pripovednem ustvarjanju otresa konvencij in neutemeljenih idej ter se med drugimi sredstvi zateka k literarnemu liku, ki je nagnjen k vpraševanju, tudi vpraševanju samega sebe. Takšen lik se pojavi tudi v delih Eva ultima in Viaggio d'Europa, v katerih se skozi podobno pripovedno strukturo (odtujitveno potovanje kot izkušnja spoznanja in skepse, ki v obeh primerih pripelje do preporoda) pokažeta jasna razlika diskurzivnih strategij in drugačna refleksija o času. V prvem primeru je skozi govor o položaju človeka obravnavana tudi potreba otresti se teže preteklosti in neutemeljenih konvencij, v drugem pa se kot osrednja tema pokaže iskanje četrte dimenzije, ki bi lahko razrešila nepovrnljivost časa. Primerjava obeh del pokaže odločilen poetološki preobrat: po intenzivni fazi del, ki so obravnavala in širila »novecentismo«, je Bontempellijev način govora od 30. let naprej bolj asertiven, namera po teoretiziranju pa njegovo pripoved obremeni in na bolj tog način utrdi besedilno sporočilo.
Tragedija Orest se v marsičem kaže kot »najbolj evripidovska izmed vseh Evripidovih iger«. Njena slogovna in tematska kompleksnost zato omogočata zelo raznovrstne interpretacije. Prispevek najprej ...predstavi koncepta pobožnosti in tragične napake v grški ljudski religiji in tragiški misli. Temu pa sledi raziskava, kako ta koncepta vplivata na interpretacijo Evripidove različice mita o Tantalidih, značajev in dejanj dramskih oseb ter končnega preobrata. Ta analiza kaže, da pesnik v svojem zadnjem nagovoru Atencev (drama je bila uprizorjena leta 408 pr. n. št.) prikazuje večno kaotično stanje vojne, ki ga ljudje niso sposobni preseči. Zato je treba kot resno in politično motivirano sporočilo drame razumeti tudi končni preobrat in Apolonov nastop, ki osmisli preteklost in človeško trpljenje, poveže sprte strani ter jim zapove, naj častijo mir.
Delo, ki ga je avtorica namenila preučevanju čustev iz sociološkega zornega kota v okviru naše, zahodne civilizacije, je izšlo v zbirki Sophia pri založbi Znanstveno in publicistično središče ob ...koncu prejšnjega leta. Avtorica nam v treh temeljnih poglavjih, ki jih spremljata tudi uvodno in sklepno razmišljanje,predstavlja temeljito sociološko študijo o vlogi čustev od najzgodnejših začetkov zahodnega mišljenja, ko so jih še omalovaževali, do današnjih dni, ko so čustva postala središče zanimanja in eno najbolj privlačnih raziskovalnih področij v mnogih znanstvenih disciplinah. Pozornost namenja predvsem preučevanju čustev kot družbenemu konstruktu.
Antibiotic resistance is a major threat to global health. Optimizing the use of antibiotics is a key measure to prevent and control this problem. Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (ASPs) are ...designed to improve clinical outcomes, minimize adverse effects and protect patients, and to ensure the administration of cost-effective treatments. Inappropriate use of antibiotics also occurs in pediatric clinical practice. For this reason, ASPs should include specific objectives and strategies aimed at pediatricians and families. Implementing these programs requires the involvement of institutions and policy makers, healthcare providers as well as individuals, adapting them to the characteristics of each healthcare setting. Pediatric primary care (PPC) faces specific issues such as high demand and immediacy, scarce specialized professional resources, difficulties to access regular training and to obtain feedback. This requires the design of specific policies and strategies to achieve the objectives, including structural and organizational measures, improvement of the information flow and accessibility to frequent trainings. These programs should reach all health professionals, promoting regular trainings, prescription support tools and supplying diagnostic tests, with adequate coordination between health care levels. Periodic evaluations and surveillance tools are useful to assess the impact of the actions taken and to provide feedback to health providers in order to adapt and improve their clinical practice to meet ASPs objectives. Resumen: La resistencia a antimicrobianos supone una amenaza para la salud pública a nivel mundial. Su estrecha relación con el consumo de antibióticos hace necesaria la adopción de medidas para optimizar su uso. Los Programas de Optimización del Uso de Antibióticos (PROA) se diseñan para mejorar los resultados clínicos de los pacientes con infecciones, minimizar los efectos adversos asociados a su uso y garantizar la administración de tratamientos costo-eficientes. En la práctica clínica pediátrica el uso inadecuado de antibióticos es una realidad. Es por ello que los PROA deben incluir objetivos y estrategias específicos dirigidos a familias y pediatras. La implementación de estos programas requiere la implicación de instituciones, profesionales y población, adaptándolos a las características de cada ámbito asistencial. La atención primaria (AP) pediátrica presenta unas peculiaridades organizativas y asistenciales (hiperdemanda e inmediatez, escasos recursos profesionales especializados, dificultades en el acceso a la formación continuada y a la retroalimentación informativa) que exigen el diseño de medidas y estrategias propias para conseguir los objetivos fijados, que incluyan medidas estructurales, organizativas, de flujo de información y de formación continuada. Es necesario que estos programas alcancen a todos los profesionales, abordando la formación continuada, las herramientas de apoyo a la prescripción y el acceso a pruebas diagnósticas, con la adecuada coordinación interniveles. Se debe evaluar periódicamente el impacto de las distintas acciones en los objetivos planteados. La información generada debe revertir a los profesionales para que puedan adaptar su práctica clínica a la consecución óptima de los objetivos.

Artan kent nüfusu yanında kırsal alandan olan göçler kentsel yerleşimler ve etrafındaki alanlarda Arazi Kullanımı ve Bitki Örtüsü (AKBÖ) değişimlerini hızlandırmaktadır. Çalışma, bu büyüme sürecinin ...hızlı bir şekilde yaşandığı Çanakkale il merkezi ve çevresinde yürütülmüştür ve 1987-2010 yıllarında AKBÖ değişimlerinin uzaktan algılama verileri ve CBS teknikleri ile belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Farklı yıllarda (1987, 2000 ve 2010) alınan Landsat TM/ETM+ görüntüleri kullanılarak 4 ana grubu (Orman, Yerleşim, Tarım ve Diğer) içeren AKBÖ haritaları oluşturulmuştur. Sayısal haritalar yardımıyla Markov analizi ve alan görünüm analizleri yapılmıştır. Analizler sonucunda 1987-2000 ve 2000-2010 dönemleri için sınıfların birbirlerine dönüşümler, dönüşüm olasılıkları ile alan sayıları, alan yoğunlukları ve en büyük alan indeks değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Çalışma ile, yerleşim alanlarının yoğunluğunun artarken özellikle tarım alanlarının başka AKBÖ sınıflarına dönüşerek azaldığı görülmüştür. Bununla birlikte, çalışma alanında nufüsün artığı ve tarım alanlarının azaldığı gözlenmiştir. Çanakkale kent gelişim planlamaları yapılırken, tarım alanlarının korunmasına yönelik önlemlerin göz önünde bulundurulması gerekmektedir.
Population growth in cities along with migration from rural areas dramatically increases the Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) changes. This study was conducted in Çanakkale province consisting of central part and its vicinities where rapid population growth and development have been taken place. This study aimed to determine LULC changes using remotely sensed data and geographical information system (GIS) techniques between 1987 and 2010. The LULC maps covering 4 main groups (Forest, Settlement, Agriculture and Others) were developed using the Landsat TM/ETM+ images that were taken in 1987, 2000, and 2010. Markov and landscape analyses were applied to the maps. As a result of the analysis, transformation rates between the classes, transformation probabilities and area numbers, area densities, and the greatest area index values were calculated for 1987-2000 and 2000-2010 periods. This study showed that agricultural lands decreased as a result of their conversion into other LULC classes while the numbers and densities of the settlements continued being increased. It was also noticed that the number and availability of agricultural lands decrease as population increases. Therefore, some precautions should be taken to preserve agricultural lands when city expansion plans are prepared.

Bu çalışmada; biyoetanol belirli oranlarda benzine karıştırılarak tarım kesiminde sulama amaçlı kullanılan küçük güçlü buji ile ateşlemeli bir motorda yapılan denemelerle performans değerleri belirlenmiştir. Biyoetanol, dünyada yaygın olarak kullanılan %5, 10, 15 ve 20 oranlarında benzin içerisine karıştırılmıştır.

Günümüzde fotosentetik aktif radyasyon (FAR) yüksek maliyetli FAR duyargaları ile ölçülmektedir. Hassas tarım uygulamalarında çok sayıda verinin anlık olarak algılanması ve doğru kararlar verilmesi gerekliliği ekonomik FAR ölçümünün önemini artırmıştır. Bu çalışmada, ticari FAR duyargalarının yerine kullanılabilecek, optoelektronik malzemeler olan fotodiyot ve LED ler ile FAR ölçümünü ekonomik olarak gerçekleştirme olanaklarının ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır.
