The concept of closed quasi principally injective acts over monoids is introduced ,which signifies a generalization for the quasi principally injective as well as for the closed quasi injective acts. ...Characterization of this concept is intended to show the behavior of a closed quasi principally injective property. At the same time, some properties of closed quasi principally injective acts are examined in terms of their endomorphism monoid. Also, the characterization of a closed self-principally injective monoid is given in terms of its annihilator. The relationship between the following concepts is also studied; closed quasi principally injective acts over monoids, Hopfian, co Hopfian, and directly finite property. Ultimately, based on the results obtained, the conditions on subacts to inherit a closed quasi principally injective property were shown. Part of this paper was dedicated to studying the relationship between the classes of closed quasi principally injective acts with some generalizations of injectivity. Conclusions and future remarks of this work are given.
The article focuses on the formation of the main approaches to the content of the concept of an administrative act in European administrative law. The subject of the analysis is either the rule of ...law or the doctrine of France, Germany, Italy and Spain. The author notes that administrative act as an independent category arises in France as a result of the creation of a separate administrative jurisdiction. The article gives a detailed analysis of the evolution of approaches to the administrative act in France, as a result, the author shows gradual narrowing of its content and reveals its prerequisites. The author states that the interpretation of the administrative act given by M. Hauriou as an expression of the will of the administration in order to cause legal consequences served as the basis for the application (with some adaptation) civil law developments regarding legal transactions (invalidity of administrative acts, conditional administrative acts, etc.) to administrative act. The article examines the approaches of the German doctrine and shows common features and differences between the concept of an administrative act in Germany and in France. The study determines construction of an administrative act by analogy with a judicial decision as a characteristic feature of the German legal order. In this regard, its focus on the settlement of a specific case becomes its key parameter, which, unlike France, excluded the possibility of considering regulatory acts of the administration as a type of administrative acts. Much attention is given to the approaches to the administrative act in Italy and Spain. The author shows that these countries point departed from the French and German traditions in the middle of XX century and adopted a much broader definition of the administrative act.
The purpose of this study was to investigate types of speech acts uttered by the main character of the movie Hive. It utilized both quantitative-qualitative research methods to analyze the types of ...illocutionary acts produced by Fahrije, the main character of the movie. The analysis was based on the taxonomy developed by Searle (1969) regarding fives types of illocutionary acts, which include representatives, directives, commissives, expressives, and declaratives. According to the finding, the main character performed four different categories of speech acts: representatives (37.3%), directives (35.5 %), expressives (13.6 %), commissives (13.6 %), and no declaratives (0%). The main character used representative speech acts to state what she believed to be true or false. She employed directive speech acts, such as commanding, ordering, and asking, to request actions from others. Fahrije committed herself to taking a certain course of action in the future by using commissive speech acts. Finally, she performed expressive acts to convey her feelings, including pain, sadness, pleasure, etc. The study revealed that the most prevalent acts in the movie were directives and representatives. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that further studies should investigate other genres of movies in order to gather more detailed information about speech acts. This study develops a local grammar of exemplification in Chinese and also briefly discusses local grammar analyses of apologies in five selected languages, aiming to explore the feasibility of ...employing the local grammar approach to account for speech acts in various languages. Using data taken from DiSCUSS, a balanced and representative corpus of spoken Chinese, the analyses identified 13 local grammar patterns of exemplification, which shows the applicability of local grammars in describing speech act realisations in languages other than English. Our discussion further suggests that the resulting local grammar descriptions can not only reveal language-specific features of speech act realisations, but also facilitates contrastive (e.g., cross-linguistic and cross-cultural) speech act studies. The theoretical implications for describing speech act realisations and pedagogical applications for teaching speech acts in L2 contexts are also discussed. It is concluded that local grammar can be a useful and viable approach that can significantly take forward speech act studies.
•The study extends the local grammar approach to speech act studies in Chinese.•It develops a local grammar of exemplification in Chinese.•It also presents local grammar analyses of apologies in five selected languages.•Local grammars can be a viable method to advance speech act studies in general.

How can one respond except with gratitude to those who have laboured to think through Being Political published twenty years ago? I call this labour of love performing a/the right to philosophy ...(understood as a style of thought and a critical activity). Recognising the impossibility of discussing in detail the questions raised about Being Political by seven articles and nine authors, I discuss a few for further reflection. The questions raised are essential questions and concern not only Being Political but also the most urgent questions of being political in our times including domination, emancipation, resistance, acts, actions, subjectivity, objectivity, affect, polity, and power. Moreover, the authors urge us to think about ourselves, our standpoint, and our positions when we are thinking about and acting on these questions. That citizenship as a concept and an institution of domination and emancipation elicits and provokes these questions indicates that citizenship remains a central question of our times as it has been for at least three thousand years.

The Impulsive Behavior Short Scale-8 (I-8) measures the psychological construct of impulsivity with four subscales comprising two items each (completion time < 1 min). The aim of the present study ...was threefold: (1) to assess the psychometric properties (objectivity, reliability, and validity) of the English-language I-8; (2) to compare these psychometric properties with those of the original German-language source version of the scale; and (3) to test the cross-national comparability of the scale via measurement invariance tests. For this purpose, we used heterogeneous quota samples from the UK and Germany. Our results indicate that I-8 is a reliable and valid short scale with highly comparable psychometric properties across both language versions. In addition, I-8 showed a highly similar correlational pattern with various extraneous variables across the two nations. Furthermore, partial scalar invariance and full invariance of residual variances held, allowing the comparison of latent means and observed (co)variances across nations. I-8 lends itself as a measure of impulsive behavior especially in surveys in which assessment time is limited, such as in large-scale cross-national surveys.
