Background: Having a registration certificate (STR) a nurse must take a competency test as a condition for ownership of the STR. For nursing students, competency tests are a big ...challenge and complex, so special preparation and attention are needed for students and universities. The implementation of the competency test can create feelings of concern, fear, tension, and anxiety for fear of not passing the competency test. The problem about low graduation rate for ners competency test is influenced by several factors. One of internal factor consist of anxiety and fear facing ners competency test. Purpose: This study identified the perception and experience anxienty dan readiness of few nursing students facing competency test. Method: The study design is qualitative and study was conducted using semi-structured interview. Recruitment of partisipants for the interview was based on purposive sampling methods. Interview were conducted with a maximum 14 participants with saturation data. Analiysis in this study with content analysis. Results: This study explored the perception and experience anxienty dan readiness of few nursing students facing competency test. The current study identified four themes : deep feeling of fear, extreme anxiety, unpreparedness within, surrender and pray. Conclusion: The feelings of anxiety, fear and worry felt by students whether they are taking an exam for the first time or those who are repeating it. In fact, this feeling has quite an impact on the psychological condition, which is also compounded by the student's unpreparedness facing ners competency test.
There are still many students who experience anxiety in the face of menarche. Anxiety often leads to wrong behavior customize. Anxiety occurs presumably because they lack knowledge about menarche. ...Target or Research: The first is to describe the student knowledge about menarche, and student anxiety. Second, to see relation with knowledge of student about menarche and dread of students. Quantitative research study was shaped by the kind of descriptive co relational. The population is student of class VII Junior High School Tanjung Gadang Sijunjung. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling, totaling 61 students. Data were collecting using a questionnaire in the form of a graduated scale based on the Likert Scale. Data analysis techniques using Pearson Product Moment formula and processing data using the program Statistical Product and Service Solution for windows release 15.0. The research findings revealed that (1) knowledge of student about menarche are in the good category, (2) anxiety students are in the low category, (3) there is significant relationship between student knowledge about menarche with anxiety students with a correlation of -0,724 and a significance level of 0,000with a strong relationship level. Thus, it is suggested that BK teacher/School counselors can provide students with a complete knowledge of menarche. THe safety of the aerobic exercise designed for pregnant women and its effects on their anxiety during pregnancy and labor were discussed. A consecutive series of primiparas (n=66) was assessed over ...the course of their pregnancy and after delivery. Twenty eight pregnant women over 20 weeks of gestation who attended to the aerobic training more than twice a week were recruited to this study. Thirty eight women of control group were gathered at random from the primiparas who were delivered in the obstetrical unit of the St. Marianna University Hospital. As obstetrical parameters, age, days of gestation, birth weight, apgar scores, length of labor, the percentage of Caesarean operation and obstetrical complications were recorded. Their anxiety was assessed by STAI at the admission and on the first day post-partum. The self-rating questionnaires about the course of the pregnancy and the delivery were also given to them. Results were as follows. (1) It was de, monstrated that maternal aerobic exercise exerts no effects on their pregnancy course. (2) Without length of labor, no statistically significant differences were obtained from abstetrical data in both groups. However, their self-estimates were different. These results may be explainede by the difference of their attitudes. The aerobic group consisted of women who might have been more active and positive for their pregnancy and delivery than the control group. (3) The aerobic exercise did not reduce discomfort significantly. (4) Gool effects of the aerobic exercise on improving the emotional stability of pregnant women and inspiring them to accept their labor experience should be emphasized.
