This study attempted to investigate the behavior of charity seekers in several villages in Bonang Demak sub-district. This study tried to compare the study that the author conducted seven years ...before, with wider object and focus of research. The study used a sociological and anthropological approach. The findings revealed that there was a shift in alms seeker behavior mode. First, the letter or proposal model has not been used anymore, although sporadically some still use this model. Second, the model of selling calendars was a model widely used, since it was more elegant. There were products sold like businesses, and minimize the prejudice of fraud as already existed. The model of selling calendars was actually the use of new packages of old content, namely exploiting religion for economic purposes. The implication was that the community did not need to hesitate if they did not want to give / to buy alms to the citizens.
Türk boyları arasında destancılık geleneği ve destan metinlerinin zenginliği açısından dikkat çeken Uygur Türkleri, bu köklü geleneği sözlü ve yazılı olarak yüzyıllardır devam ettirmektedir. Son ...yıllarda sözlü destancılık geleneği siyasi baskılar ve sosyal yaşamdaki değişime bağlı olarak zayıflamıştır. Diğer yandan Çağatay Türkçesiyle yazıya geçirilen ve misyoner, seyyah ya da araştırıcılar tarafından dünyanın farklı ülkelerdeki kütüphanelere götürülen destan metinlerinin de henüz yeterince incelenmediği aşikârdır. Bu noktada özellikle İsveç’te bulunan Gunnar Jarring Koleksiyonu başta olmak üzere Almanya, Rusya, Japonya ve Çin’deki çeşitli kütüphanelerde ve şahısların elinde bulunan destan metinlerinin tespiti, temini ve incelenmesi Türkoloji çalışmaları açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Lund Üniversitesi Gunnar Jarring Koleksiyonu’nda bulunan ve Prov. 280 numara ile kayıtlı olan Yusuf Beg-Ahmed Beg Destanı, başta Uygurlar olmak üzere farklı Türk boyları arasında anlatılan önemli destanlardan biridir. Nüsha, Yarkent’te Gunnar Jarring tarafından bulunmuş, 1982 yılında Gunnar Jarring tarafından Lund Üniversitesi kütüphanesine bağışlanmıştır. Mevcut nüsha, üzerinde çalışma yapılan nüshalara göre daha hacimli ve farklı bir anlatıma sahiptir. Ayrıca destanın şahıs kadrosunda Köroğlu’nun bulunması dikkat çekicidir. Günümüze kadar yapılan çalışmalarda Yusuf Beg-Ahmed Beg Destanı Köroğlu’nun “devamı” olarak nitelendirilmiştir. Destanın diğer nüshalarında Köroğlu’nun ölmüş olduğu ve Köroğlu’na göndermeler yapıldığı ifade edilmiştir. Söz konusu nüsha ise Köroğlu’nun hayatta olması ve destanın şahıs kadrosunda aktif yer alması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Çalışmada, Yusuf Beg-Ahmed Beg Destanı’ndan kısaca bahsedilmiş, Köroğlu’nun destandaki kimliği ve olaylara etkisi üzerinde durulmuştur.
The Blume–Emery–Griffiths model with a random crystal field is studied in a random graph architecture, in which the average connectivity is a controllable parameter. The disordered average over the ...graph realizations is treated by replica symmetry formalism of order parameter functions. A self consistent equation for the distribution of local fields is derived, and numerically solved by a population dynamics algorithm. The results show that the average connectivity amounts to changes in the topology of the phase diagrams. Phase diagrams for representative values of the model parameters are compared with those obtained for fully connected mean field and renormalization group approaches.

The magnetic properties and hysteresis loops for the hexagonal Ising nanowire (HIN) with core–shell structure consisting of spin-32 are considered in the Blume–Emery–Griffiths (BEG) model by using ...the mean-field approximation (MFA) based on the Gibbs–Bogoliubov inequality for the free energy. The effects of various bilinear and biquadratic interaction parameters between the core, between the shell, and between the core and shell spins are considered for the phase diagrams of the model when temperature T=0 and T≠0 in addition to the crystal and external magnetic fields effects. The numerical calculations reveal that the model yields first- and second-order phase transition lines and tricritical points. In addition to the isolated critical and critical end-points, the model exhibits at most two compensation temperatures and interesting multiple hysteresis magnetic loops behaviors strongly dependent on the model parameters.
•The core–shell structure with spin-3/2 was considered in the Blume–Emery–Griffiths model.•Mean-field approximation based on the Gibbs–Bogoliubov inequality for free energy was employed.•The magnetic properties and hysteresis loops for the hexagonal Ising nanowire were examined.•The ground state and temperature-dependent phase diagrams were calculated.•Tricritical, isolated critical, critical end-points and at most two compensation points were observed.

Halk hikâyeleri Kürt sözlü halk edebiyatı içinde geniş bir yer kaplayan türlerdendir. Bu hikâyelerdeki aşklar çoğunlukla trajiktirler ve aşıklar birbirlerine kavuşamadan ölürler. Aşktaki trajedi çoğunlukla toplumsal nedenlerden kaynaklıdır. Bu sebepler aşıklar arasındaki sınıfsal statü farklılıkları ve ya din ve mezheb ayrılıklarıdır. Bazen otoritelerin zorbalığı nedeniyle de bu trajedi yaşanmaktadır. Fakat bu trajik aşklar sözlü anlatı haline getirildiklerinde sözkonusu toplumsal sebepler sansürlenerek bunların yerine düzenbaz ve hilekar karakter ya da motifler yaratılır. Biz de bu konu bağlamında Kürt sözlü anlatısında trajik aşk konusunu işeleyen Memê Alan ile Khalil Beg û Gewrê halk hikâyelerini inceledik. Bir taraftan bu halk hikâyelerinin tarihsel arka planını açığa çıkarmaya çalışırken bir diğer taraftan sözlü anlatıların içeriğine odaklandık. Sonuç olarak bu hikâyelerde yer alan Beko ve Xelo isimli iki antogonist karakterin hem hilekâr ve düzenbaz hem de birer kurban oldukları kanaatine vardık. Sözlü anlatı çerçevesinde düzenbaz ve hilekâr motifler oldukları doğrudur. Fakat gerçekte onlar yaşanmış trajik aşkların asıl nedenlerini sansürlemek adına halk, icracılar ve otoriteler tarafından yaratılmış kurbanlardır.
The mean-field approximation based on the Gibbs-Bogoliubov inequality and Monte Carlo simulations based on the Metropolis method in the Blume–Emery–Griffiths model were used to successfully examine a ...hexagonal Ising nanowire with spin-1. It was found that the model displays fascinating phase diagrams in various planes of interest by using both methods. The investigation of magnetic hysteresis cycles also exhibits interesting properties. The model not only presents first- and second-order phase transition lines, but also the tricritical and isolated critical points, multi-compensation temperatures, and magnetic hysteresis behavior with one to eight cycles.

We have investigated magnetic phase diagrams of spin-crossover (SCO) solids throughout the Blume-Emery-Griffiths (BEG) spin-$1$ model where the spin states $\pm1$ and $0$ are associated to high-spin ...(HS) state and low-spin (LS) states respectively. In the present work, the quadrupolar interaction, $K$, parameter depends linearly on temperature and accounts for the role of the lattice phonons in the elastic interactions between the SCO units. Magnetic interactions are randomly distributed in the system and are controlled by a factor $\gamma=J_{ij}/K$ such that for $\gamma=0$ ($J_{ij}=0$), magnetic ordering is not expected. The crystal-field that acts on SCO sites depends both on the ligand-field strength and the degeneracy ratio between HS and LS states as in some previous works. The system is also under the effect of a random local magnetic field $h_i$ acting on each site $i$. The model is solved using a homogeneous mean field theory (MFT). Our investigations reveal the occurrence of thermally-induced gradual, and first-order spin-transitions by varying the model parameters. At vicinity of first-order transition, various types of isothermal magnetic hysteresis loops are obtained and their corresponding coercive field and loop patterns are discussed as function of temperature.

The article deals with one of the least studied periods in the history of mountainous southwestern Taurica, the second half of the XIII century. During this period, a radical transformation of the ...political system of the whole Black Sea region took place, which began with the destruction of the Byzantine Empire in 1204, and the catalyst was the Mongol conquests. Since the 1320s, the Crimean peninsula was subject to invasions by the armies of Genghis Khan and his descendants, but the process of its integration into the Ulus of Jochi (Golden Horde) proceeded unevenly and stretched over many decades. The study, based on a comprehensive analysis of narrative and epigraphic sources, focuses on peculiarities of the early phase of the Golden Horde period in history of the mountainous southwestern Crimea, where such significant archaeological sites as Eski Kermen and Mangup are located. The conclusion is made, that during this period the region maintained a certain form of independence from the khans’ power and was ruled by local multi-ethnic elites who still adhered to Greek Orthodox Christianity, but at the same time sought to fit into the emerging privileged class of the Golden Horde.
