The present paper highlights aspects on the status reached by some of the possible directions/ trends of development of the tourism from the Danube Delta, established in different studies and ...researches, as well as suggestions in eliminating the disfunctions or in order to successfully achieve them. As a consequence of the fact that the tourism in The Biosphere Reserve Danube Delta causes benefits and costs, the planning and development have been established by the main actors so as to aim getting an advantage from the interest shown by tourists in order to improve the economic opportunities, to protect the national and cultural patrimony, to improve the quality of life of all the people belonging to this area.

Journal writing was introduced as a means to assess student learning and acceptance of evolutionary science in a nonmajors' biology course taught at a community college. Fourteen weeks of instruction ...were performed, each initiated by student-centered, in-class activities and culminated by a discussion, to elucidate tentative conclusions based on evidence from in-class activities. Students (N = 31) engaged in explicit and reflective writing (i.e., journaling) at four points during the semester, providing responses to the following questions: (a) what influence did the recent in-class activities and discussion have on your understanding of evolution (b) has your view (of evolution) changed (explain your response and provide support or examples of what influenced the change); and (c) what aspects of the nature of science have you observed in recent lessons/activities. Journal entries were coded on a continuum as informed (I), somewhat informed (SWI), or not informed (NI) regarding the accuracy of evidence cited with respect to evolutionary science. Initial journal entries were judged as strongly NI and highly negative toward evolution. Data analyses at the conclusion of the course, however, indicated a statistically significant shift in student responses toward an informed view more consistent with evolutionary principles and less personally resistant to biological evolution.

Cette thèse a pour objet d’évaluer les potentialités et les impacts des monnaies locales, sociales et complémentaires au regard des enjeux posés par le développement soutenable. La thèse adopte une ...approche socioéconomique et institutionnaliste, alimentée principalement par deux études de terrain sur les dispositifs du SOL Alpin (France) et de l’Accorderie (Québec) pour obtenir des données quantitatives et qualitatives. Dans une approche bioéconomique et socioéconomique, un double enchâssement de l’économie dans le social et du social dans l’environnement est postulé. À partir des résultats des enquêtes et de l’analyse théorique, un schéma monétaire à même de favoriser le développement local soutenable sera présenté. Cet agencement propose, dans un dépassement de l’approche en termes de complémentarité, de poser les jalons d’une perspective relative à la subsidiarité monétaire c'est-à-dire un agencement monétaire relatif à chaque niveau d’action sur le territoire.
This thesis aims to assess the potential and impact of local, community and complementary currencies with regard to the challenges posed by sustainable development. The thesis adopts a socio-economic and institutionalist approach based mainly on the SOL Alpin (France) and the Accorderie (Quebec) to obtain quantitative and qualitative data. In a bio-economic and socio-economic approach is postulated a double embeddedness of the economy in the social and social in the environment. From the survey results and theoretical analysis will be presented a monetary scheme able to support local sustainable development. This arrangement provides beyond the approach to complementarity, to lay groundwork for a perspective on subsidiarity money that is to say monetary arrangement on each level of action in the territory.
The communities of aquatic insects in Chilean inland waters are characterized by the presence of determined species in function of water quality, but there is scarce information about statistical ...ecology in insects communities structure. The aim of the present study was to apply the null models for explain the structure of aquatic insects in Maquehue, a small river located in an agricultural zone close to Temuco town (38°S, Araucanía region, Chile). The results of species co-occurrence null models revealed that species associations are random, whereas the niche sharing revealed that species share ecological niche, and in consequence there are interspecific competition. The reported taxa are similar with communities for other north Patagonian rivers, about community structure.
