Cadmium (Cd) isotopes are an important tool to better understand the inorganic and organic geochemistry of Cd. Organic ligands play a key role to control the toxicity and mobility of Cd in living ...organisms and also in terrestrial and aquatic environments. Therefore, knowledge of the equilibrium isotope fractionation of Cd with organic ligands is crucial to further advance Cd isotope source and process tracing in the field of biogeochemistry. In this study, we calculated reduced partition function ratios (103lnβ) of Cd isotopes in various organic Cd complexes by density functional theory. The calculations revealed that the 103lnβ of 114Cd/110Cd for these complexes decreased in the order of Cd(Hcit)(H2cit)− > Cd(cit)(H2O)3− > CdH(cit)(H2O)4 > CdEDTA > Cd(his)2H2O > Cd(cit)24− ≈ Cd(H2O)62+ > Cd(H2O)42+ > Cd(cys)(H2O)32+ > Cd(GS)2(H2O)22− > Cd(DMPS)(H2O)2− > Cd(DMPS)24− at 0–100 °C. In general, heavier Cd isotopes preferably bind to oxygen and nitrogen donor atoms while lighter Cd isotopes bind to sulfur donor atoms of organic ligands. Thus, the previously observed immobilization of light Cd isotopes in living organisms could be related to Cd detoxification processes with sulfur. The predicted equilibrium isotope fractionation will strengthen Cd isotopes as a process tracing tool in living organisms and will improve the understanding of Cd isotope cycling in aquatic and terrestrial systems.
•The isotope fractionation order of selected Cd organic complexes was given.•Compared to hydrated Cd, organic complexes with O and N donors enrich heavier Cd isotopes, with S enrich lighter isotopes.•Organic ligands with S donors: chelating ligands were enriched in light isotope compared to non-chelating ligands.•Cd(H2O)62+ is enriched in heavy isotope compared to Cd(H2O)42+.

Background: Identifying the current employment status provides useful information for policy makers and decision makers of the country's education system in order to future planning for determining ...the admission capacity of students and the conditions of graduate’s recruitment and employment condition of various fields. The aim of this study was determining the career destiny of healthcare management from the perspective of graduates.
Methods: This descriptive-analytic and cross-sectional study was conducted in the second half of 2018 on 108 graduates of healthcare management at Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd. Participants entered the study by census method and the data collection tool was standard career destiny questionnaire. Statistical analyzes were performed in SPSS 16 using descriptive (Frequency, Mean, Standard deviation, Percentage) and analytical (independent t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient test) statistics.
Results: The mean score of career destiny in the present study was 3.04 ± 0.65 that among its dimensions, the highest and the lowest average score was related to the specialized and professional abilities dimension (3.69 ± 0.65 (and creating the necessary facilities for employment by the university dimension (2.59 ± 0.63), respectively. Also, there was a statistically significant relationship between the dimension of specialized and professional abilities with the variable of marital status (P = 0.046), the dimensions of creating the necessary facilities for employment by the university (P = 0.031), the appropriateness of the curriculum and professors education with employment (P = 0.047) and the role of university environment and entrepreneurship skills (P = 0.034) with the variable of age and finally the appropriateness of the curriculum and professors education with employment with the variable of grade point average (GPA) (P = 0.029) of participants.
Conclusion: It is suggested to provide employment opportunities for graduates in the field of healthcare management at different levels of the health system, educational objectives, curriculum content and clerkship and internship courses of field to be changed based on the country's labor market needs and finally, educational centers play a more prominent role to introducing the capabilities of their graduates to the health labor market.
Lost is a TV series which reflects on the concept of series. I analyse the meaning of this concept; then I suggest that each character personifies a single possibility among a multiplicity of choices ...regarding what the series might become; I show that the character Hurley is a stoic character and is an alternative model of heroism.
The belief in a just world (BJW) influences how people navigate their relationships. BJW effects differ depending on the extent to which one's BJW is concerned with the self (BJW-self) and others ...(BJW-other). In this study (N=160) we replicated previous research showing that BJW-self encourages forgiveness operationalized as benevolence and extended it to show, for the first time, that BJW-self predicts decisional forgiveness but, unexpectedly, not emotional forgiveness. Conversely, BJW-other encourages negative responding. Most importantly, the study makes a new contribution to BJW theorizing by integrating principles from implicit theories of relationships. Mediation models indicated that BJW-self obtains its association with forgiveness through growth beliefs, whereas BJW-other is associated with negative responding via the agency of destiny beliefs.
•Integrates implicit theories of relationships into the BJW framework•First study to measure decisional and emotional forgiveness in relation to BJW•Demonstrates that BJW-self predicts forgiveness indirectly through growth beliefs•BJW-other predicts negative responding indirectly through destiny beliefs.

To speak nowadays of Wagner’s egotism, after time has “classified” his incontestable œuvre in the highest areas of international dramaturgy, is not in the least surprising. To notice, however, his ...sparks of genius and the radical anticipations announced as early as his first operas, this is truly impressive with a musician who had discovered the art of handling sounds so late. The key to solving this phenomenon is called simply – BEETHOVEN. The same colossal musician who would influence the destinies of music and of all musicians from the first half of the 19th century and not only. How could we praise more appropriately the genius of the musician from Bonn, now when we celebrate 250 years from his birth, than through R. Wagner’s œuvre, who would identify himself with and consider himself a successor of Beethoven’s aesthetic and human ideals! I do not believe that the history of music can offer us a more eloquent example of artistic completion, all the more so since, paradoxically, the two great musicians never met.
This article offers a literary analysis of the existential dilemmas and psychological traumas of the characters in Mihaela Perciun’s novel, Cenușă rece. The sources and the chain of causality that ...marked the destinies of the characters from the perspective of moral evil are particularly highlighted. We have shown that moral deviations and the constraint of freedom of conscience are what can create both social dissensions and identity fractures over time. By using black humor, the author illustrates an upside-down world, wicked and with values followed only on a declarative level, thus managing to offer us a full picture of this society. It also analyzes the drama of three generations of women and how the male character, Tudor Cocargea, marked their existence by one moral slip he committed. Thus, we found that the characters, although they are blood relatives, are devoid of affection and totally unknown to each other

For Dostoevsky at the beginning of philosophy there is the mystical tremor not the wonder. The tremor is not fear or torment, but the wound of our weak human condition. Is a sign of our ontological ...dependence. In Crime and Punishment, the term tremor occurs many times. It breaks the closure of the self and reveals the need for the other. The tremor opens the way for Raskolnikov to inner change. Sonia trembles for him in the face of destiny because she wants salvation for him. She reads with emotion the passage from the Gospel about Lazarus. Sonia trembles and with the words of Jesus, she asks him to come out of the darkness of the cave and out of nowhere. Her tremor makes the young man become aware of the gravity of what he has done. It becomes the evidence of our need for another, in order not to fall into nothing. There are also those who do not feel the trembling for the others because they are blind and are against the life, like Svidrigailov or Stavrogin. Svidrigailov, after destroying the lives of others and an innocent child, kills himself. For this reason, the wish for everyone is to tremble for their own destiny and for that of the world. The awareness of our fragility guides us to the truth of life.
