The paper is based on analysis of the relationship between two hermeneutic notions, logos and phōné, in Jacques Rancière’s philosophy, and their application to the socialist realism’s criticism. His ...well-known discourse on politics and democracy as a disagreement Rancière bases on the hermeneutical clash between the two terms, expressed in a social and political struggle for political rights and the recognition of existence in turning away from logos. The Order of the logos requires hermeneutical identification with the set of recognized terms and represents, what Rancière calls, the police logic. On the other hand, the freedom from the logos is set as a request for subjecting, expressed in a voice (phōné), which is raised against words, laws, rules (logos), and therefore represents political logic. In order not to remain on the theoretical level, we present the mentioned logocentrism pattern during the Croatian socialist realism as an example of Rancière’s consideration on autocratic logocentrism. On the example of literary works of Šegedin, Desnica and Parun, who wrote their own logos differently than allowed, a socialist realism’s critique is presented as an example of Rancière’s analysis of the police logic under the logos of which permits only an identical hermeneutic discourse.

Osnovna obilježja korporacijskog identiteta nastoje ...se utvrditi istraživanjem menadžerskih
asocijacija o korporaciji, odnosno destinaciji te načina njihova iskazivanja. Istraživanje
uključuje i menadžerske asocijacije o destinaciji budući da destinacija svojim obilježjima
pridonosi identitetu hotelskog turističkog proizvoda.
U radu se pokušava utvrditi koje su dominantne menadžerske asocijacije o
korporacijskom i destinacijskom identitetu u hrvatskom turizmu, koji su ključni pojmovi
kroz koje se asocijacije iskazuju te kako ključni pojmovi ukazuju na korporacijski i
destinacijski identitet. Rad se pretežito temelji na kvalitativnom istraživanju. Kao osnovna
metoda za prikupljanje podataka odabrana je telefonska anketa – ispitivanje na uzorku od
76 hotela u sedam hrvatskih turističkih destinacija. Osim spomenute metode, istraživanje
se temelji i na metodi znanstvenog promatranja, analizi web-stranica, kritičkoj analizi
organizacijskog diskursa, studije slučaja i ostalim znanstvenim metodama.
Korporacijski identitet promatra se holistički, razvojno i kontekstualno u svojem
prirodnom okruženju. Istraživanju se pristupa kritički i racionalno. Ono je deskriptivno i
naturalističko. Stvarnost se prikazuje onakva kakva jest – istražuje se svijet svakodnevnog
života (običaja, vjerovanja, ponašanja) i iskustva ljudi. Rad je interdisciplinaran i
transdisciplinaran. On je višeparadigmatski i višemetodski. Oblikuje ga unutarnji referentni
okvir autora (njegovo ukupno iskustvo), ali i društveni kontekst.
U cilju stvaranja preduvjeta za pokretanje novog (kvalitativnog) ciklusa razvoja
hrvatskog turizma rad ukazuje na osnovne probleme upravljanja korporacijskim i
destinacijskim identitetom u hrvatskom turizmu te potiče svijest o potrebi promjene starih
obrazaca razmišljanja i upravljanja koji još uvijek dominiraju u hrvatskom poslovnom
sustavu/društvu, a na temeljima kojih se ne mogu stvoriti i komunicirati povoljni identiteti.
Rezultati istraživanja u ovom radu pokazuju da hrvatski menadžeri toga još uvijek
nisu dovoljno svjesni te se stječe dojam visokog stupnja neznanja o identitetu
korporacije/destinacije. U cjelini, odgovore ispitanika obilježava indiferentnost te vrlo
niska svijest o korporacijskom i destinacijskom identitetu, ali i o samom pojmu identiteta.
Istraživanje potvrđuje i problem interakcije između korporacije i destinacije u kojoj
hotel posluje te povijesno analizira uzroke takva stanja na razini društva, odnosno države.
Osim što menadžerima ukazuje na česte propuste u načinu upravljanja korporacijskim
identitetom u hrvatskom turizmu, rad ih također usmjerava prema mogućim rješenjima u
cilju stvaranja pozitivnih korporacijskih/destinacijskih identiteta.
Rad je namijenjen ponajprije znanstvenicima koji istražuju organizaciju/destinaciju,
njihov identitet te komuniciranje identiteta, zatim, znanstvenicima iz područja marketinga,
organizacijske kulture, organizacijskog ponašanja i kritičke analize diskursa. Nadalje,
namijenjen je menadžerima organizacija i turističkih destinacija, a posebice
studenticama/studentima na području organizacijskih studija, turizma i ugostiteljstva.- This disertation researches corporate identity in Croatian tourism. Exploring what
kind of associations the corporation and its communication modalities have for Croatian
managers, the research attempts to determine the basic characteristics of corporate identity
in Croatian tourism. The research also includes managers’ associations regarding a
destination since the destination significantly contributes to corporate identity.
The research seeks to identify the dominant managers' associations about corporate
and destination identity in Croatian tourism, the key terms (words) through which those
associations are expressed and how those terms imply corporate and destination identity.
Corporate identity is a complex phenomenon and a contextually bound concept.
Consequently, the theoretical basis of this study lies within multidisciplinary corporate
image - identity - culture - branding research, drawing particularly from marketing,
organisational and social studies. Multiple sets of data consisting of a telephone survey on
a sample of 76 hotels in seven Croatian destinations, web pages, covert participant
observation and corporate documents, are used to provide a holistic description of the
corporate/destination identity formation and communication processes in Croatian tourism.
This thesis adopts a predominantly qualitative approach and is embedded in the
author's frame of reference, his experience, and the historical/social context. It is
naturalistic, descriptive and subjective, based on research questions rather than predefined
hypothesis.
With the aim to foster the creation of preconditions for a new, qualitative
development cycle of Croatian tourism, this thesis calls for a paradigm shift in the thinking
of both managerial and social circles. It stresses the incompatibility between the still
dominant traditional way of thinking/acting and a new, positive and attractive
corporate/destination identity.
In addition to indicating the main problems in corporate/destination identity
management, the study also seeks appropriate solutions in order to overcome and change
actual identities within Croatian context.
The findings of the study show that Croatian managers are not fully aware of how
important it is to create and communicate positive corporate identity, on personal,
organisational, destination and social level. In general, managers' associations are
characterised by indifference and poor awareness of corporate/destination identity.
The results also confirm the existing gap between the managers' perception of
corporate/destination identity and the corporate/destination formal communication. From
the historical perspective the study highlights the existing problem of interaction between
corporation and destination.
The disertation is intended for scientists who research organisation/destination,
formation and communication of corporate/destination identity, marketing, corporate
culture, image, branding, organisational behaviour and critical discourse analysis. Further,
it may be of use to corporate/destination managers and especially to students of
