This study was to formulate a gender-responsive agile leadership model during the Covid-19 pandemic. A systematic literature review using PRISMA methods and field research on 18 purposely selected ...mid-level managers was conducted. The research discovers that first, agile leadership characteristics can be classified into individual and organizational dimensions. Individual characteristics include the personal values of agile leaders with good personalities. Organizational characteristics are characteristics to maintain and bring the organization to face a fast-changing and uncertain world. Second, the characteristics of gender-perspective leadership in the Covid-19 era are the commitment to change the management system, organizational culture, and the quality of leadership to promote gender equity. Finally, the Gendered-Perspective Agile Leadership model in the VUCA era during the Covid-19 pandemic is a leadership model that can quickly respond to gender issues through management system change, organizational culture, and character development of leaders oriented to individual and organizational characteristics. Individually trained leader characters are supposed to be intelligent, optimistic, communicative, accountable and compassionate, while organizationally oriented leader characters are adaptive, responsive, innovative, flexible, and transparent. This paper uses thematic analysis to fill the gap of the gendered-perspective agile leadership model by exploring the characteristics of gendered- perspective agile leadership in the COVID- 19 era.
Questioning gender – by understanding that questions about gender are political - is one of the core implications of feminist epistemologies. The purpose of this article is to draw attention to how a ...gender perspective can question some dominant framings on citizenship education, and to discuss different ways in which feminist theory can help us to democratise political education practice. We begin by conceptualising politics as a relational practice, a place “in-between”, in which power is understood as concrete embodied actions, and the personal is recognized as political. We then examine three key notions associated with political education: citizenship, participation, and rights through the lens of feminist-relational theory, we question their possible shortcomings and identify political education paradigms that enable not only critical understanding, but also transgression. We conclude suggesting ways in which feminist-relational theory can help us to reconsider political education, further democratising who we care for, what we care for and how we care.
Recently, international refugee law has undergone important gender-sensitive developments that have made it possible to overcome the only apparent neutrality of the 1951 International Convention on ...the Status of Refugees. Nonetheless, States maintain a standoffish position that does not guarantee certainty in protecting women’s rights. This situation is linked to the fact that international refugee law was created to respond to the needs of a particular context, that of displaced persons of the Second World War. Its original version did not include a gender or sex perspective. In this paper, taking as a starting point the situation of Afghan women after the return of the Taliban to power last August, we will first analyze the gender-sensitive developments in international refugee law. First of all, the possibility of interpreting the elements necessary for granting refugee status in light of the gender perspective will be emphasized. Furthermore, the gaps that still exist, especially regarding the possibility of considering the so-called domestic or private violence as a form of gender-based violence justifying the granting of international protection under the 1951 Convention will be considered. In addition, the paper will propose a test that judges or competent authorities in each country should apply to consider whether the granting of international protection to women victims of gender-based violence would be justified. This test will be constructed in the light of the criteria developed by national and international case law, regarding gender-based violence.
Gender-based counterterrorism in Indonesia still has not yet obtained greater attention from policy stakeholders. The role of women in handling terrorism cases is still lacking and results in the ...absence of gender sensitivity. This research aims to analyse regulations regarding policies on terrorism that are spread out not only at the level of laws but also at a more technical level of regulations. This research also involves the analysis on the urgency for policy regulation for gender-based counterterrorism. This research combines both legal/juridical-normative research and juridical-empirical/socio-legal research. The results of this research indicate that counterterrorism regulation in Indonesia is still general or gender-neutral. From an institutional perspective, the institutions that handle the criminal act of terrorism, which are the National Counter-Terrorism Agency (BNPT) and Special Detachment 88 for Anti-Terrorism (Densus 88 AT), have not accommodated a gender perspective. Consequently, the involvement of female law enforcement officials is still limited. Further, the issue of “silo mentalities" among these institutions has resulted in partial counterterrorism policies that are issued by each institution. Policy stakeholders should cooperate with other government institutions and increase the involvement of women in counterterrorism strategies to ensure that counterterrorism policies integrate a gender perspective.
Los valores han sido entendidos como metas transituacionales y ligadas al afecto, relacionados con experiencias de vida y agentes socializadores, como la familia, la escuela, el grupo de pares y los ...centros deportivos. Se ha resaltado su influencia en las conductas y el autoconcepto, siendo una parte fundamental en la interacción de la identidad propia, con el mundo. Desde la disciplina psicológica, se ha considerado que la medición de variables contribuye a la comprensión teórica fortaleciendo el poder explicativo y predictivo. El objetivo de esta investigación consistió en conocer el estado actual de conocimiento sobre los valores en el contexto deportivo: las temáticas asociadas a la investigación en valores y los instrumentos utilizados en publicaciones realizadas entre los años 2013- 2023. Siguiendo las directrices del método PRISMA, se identificaron 437 artículos, de los cuales 43 cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Se identificaron cuatro temáticas, y para su esquematización se propusieron los términos: juego limpio, valores personales, dinámicas de género y normas sociales. El instrumento utilizado con mayor frecuencia fue el Cuestionario de Valores de Retrato. Se concluye que los valores en el contexto deportivo son multifacéticos y su estudio a través de diversos instrumentos ha permitido una mejor comprensión de su influencia en la conducta y el desarrollo personal de los deportistas. Se destaca la necesidad de adaptar estas categorías de valores atendiendo los diferentes contextos culturales, deportivos, etarios y de género.
Este artículo tiene como objetivo comprender, mediante el análisis de 16 entrevistas semiestructuradas, las implicancias teórico-clínicas del posicionamiento con perspectiva de género o feminista en ...la práctica psicoterapéutica contemporánea en Chile, desde la perspectiva de consultantes y psicoterapeutas. Como resultados, se observa que el valor de esta psicoterapia radica en entregar una lectura sociocultural del malestar generizado. Sin embargo, quienes consultan reproducen estereotipos de género al elegir este enfoque a propósito del género femenino de la psicoterapeuta, pues consideran que habría un mayor entendimiento “por ser mujer”, lo cual les garantizaría un espacio seguro, libre de juicios y revictimización. Se destaca que las intervenciones de este enfoque tienen un componente político que favorece el trabajo de la desculpabilización de las consultantes. Esto resulta favorable en ciertos casos, pero podría obstaculizar el abordaje y reconocimiento de aquellas características singulares del sujeto que inciden en el sufrimiento y trascienden la certeza ideológica.
